Could not be more disappointed that Trios has closed! So sad!

What as once a great wine and live music spot, is now dead. While still running under the sae name, the head chef is gone, managment is gone, and only a brave few of the staff remains.
The mnu has been hacked to nothing. When asked about the wine list, we were told they have one white.
So utterly disappointed. If you are going to reinvent yourself, close your damn doors, don't let custmers see how bad your situation is.
The worst thing, I have already let my friends know you have failed and they should go somewhere else. You lost my business for ever. -

Pizza and wine is my preferred happy hour combination. Trios Enoteca has them both for half off during happy hour- before I walked inside the super chic establishment, I was sold.
We had a sampling of four different pizza varieties, but I am going to be biased and claim that mine was the best. It was full of delicious veggies that weren't overwhelming (if I wanted a salad, I would order a salad) and the perfect amount of cheese.
The wine list was pretty good and at half price it's even better. We will definitely be back for happy hour, but we liked it so much that we would probably pay full price.Listed in: Happiest hour of the day

Jazz, vino, sofas & a great happy hour = great. What more can a man/woman desire? Not much.
The chef makes his own special cheese, ask about it and get it. Pizzas are special @ HH, they are very nice too.
I love the vibe in the place, chill, relaxed and comfortable. Give it a go!Listed in: Nate's quintessential LoDo

Happy Hour!
I think it has been sufficiently described by others here but I just want to reiterate!
This coming from an ex-Sonoma Countess, the wine selection is well-thought out and delicious.
The cocktails are $$-ouch but well-crafted.
Appetizers are delicious!
And, as always, I am going to fully encourage any my fellow HH Trolls to grab your local bus - it's cheap, fast and easy! -
Review from Kate G.
I love finding great happy hours downtown (especially from 5-7pm because I don't have to haul ass out of work early to snag a seat like at Jax for example), I love wine, I love pizza and I love this place! I walked in Friday afternoon after getting some depressing news at work and was psyched to see little seating areas throughout consisting of comfy leather couches and chairs, because sinking into one of those started to make my troubles disappear. Our waitress was so friendly to let me hog a seating area all to myself before my friends showed up. She brought out my first half off glass of wine - a Carabella pinot gris from my 'hood back home in the Willamette Valley - a steal at $6/glass during HH. When my friends showed up, we ordered more wine, $3 local beers and four pizzas for the four of us ($5.50 each and about the size of a dinner plate). Perfect amount. We tried the 1, 4, 8 and 9 I think. My fav was the 1 with pepperoni, pancetta, tomato sauce, mushrooms and mozzarella. Close 2nd was the 4 with all veggies and feta cheese. The crust was a little different, I had wondered if I'd like it based on a few of these reviews, but it was unexpectedly light yet rich, not too thick or thin. My husband remarked that we should ask them if they sell their raw dough (we make a lot of pizza at home but not dough anymore - too much trouble and can't get anything to rise to save our lives). He's a picky pizza eater so that is the ultimate sign of success for me. Of course I forgot to ask!
We left before the music started up, and didn't take advantage of the cigar room, but I definitely enjoyed sitting in a place that let in so much sunlight and open air on a beautiful day. I pictured this being darker and more closed in for some reason, but it was quite the opposite. I can't wait to come back. Their cocktail list looked amazing with many of my favorite locally distilled Stranahan's and Leopold spirits in both classic and creative combos. The food menu looked surprisingly inexpensive, with entrees all clocking in at ~$15 and under. The tapas looked great too. A rare place that would work for a sexy date or a casual night out with friends, equally comfortably. -

Went to Trios Enoteca last night for dinner with my husband and some friends because I had a $50 gift certificate that I got half off on the Fox 31 Screaming Deals site.
The restaurant definitely has more of a wine bar feel than a restaurant one, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. There was live music when we were there, nice but a little loud for conversation.
We started with the Trios Enoteca Appetito, which allowed us to select three appetizers (we chose wild mushroom strudel, fried calamari, & spinach artichoke dip). For $15, the portions didn't seem that big, but the food itself was tasty. We also ordered two things from the Tapas menu, the basilia torte (soft cheese, tomatoes, and pesto on toast points) and the poached pear half (with prosciutto and gorgonzola). The cheese in the basilia was fresh and creamy, and perfectly complemented by the pesto.
Four of us also ordered entrees for dinner. Two friends had the stuffed chicken breast with asparagus and mashed potatoes, my husband had the chicken marsala, and I tried the #6 pizza (scallops, shrimp, and calamari with peppers and spicy marinara--I opted for no onions). Everyone liked their entrees, and I liked my pizza. It was a little soggy and the spicy marinara wasn't as spicy as I might have liked, but it was still pretty good. The only complaint I heard was that the asparagus served with the stuffed chicken breast was a little undercooked.
Only one of us had wine to drink, but it seemed like they had a nice selection. They also have many bourbons, whiskeys, and scotches to choose from.
All in all, I would return to Trios Enoteca for happy hour or dinner. It sounds like they have some pretty good happy hour deals.
Just something to be aware of, they don't take reservations for parties under 10 people, so if you have a smaller party, don't worry about calling. We were able to walk right in and find a table for 5. -

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Trios! I love this place.
I only go for happy hour because my budget just can't roll with $12 for a glass of wine, but oh what a happy hour! Half off wine and beer and half off their yummy yummy pizzas. This place is what I crave after a hard days at work, to sink into a cushy sofa and enjoy a nice glass of wine.
Their wine tastings on Thursdays are also great! They're an opportunity to really learn a little something about wine while you sample. I preferred when they were held in the back room but I suppose it's good that they've gotten so popular that they had to move out to the tables. -

This is such a great place for so many reasons. It does a wine bar/cocktail lounge better than anybody.
Great wine and drinks list, great happy hour, affordable, friendly waitstaff, nice atmosphere, usually some decent live music. I basically try to make i down here when I go downtown for a pre-dinner drink or a post show drink or nibble.
The wine flights are fun, while the cocktails are inventive and delish. here extensive booze menu never disappoints.
I bring out of towners here all the time and they just love it too.
The food is actually pretty great for a wine bar, too. Last Friday night, we had the mushroom streudel and a couple of pizzas (which were on sale for $5 because of the Rockies opening day). Everything was really flavorful with great texture.
I also love the layout, you can be front and center with the music and the bar, or hangout in the back where its quieter. You can sit at a table, on a couch or at the bar. This place is just great no matter what mood you are in. -

I wish I would have seen the coupon above before going here. Regardless, this place was great.
The wine by the glass prices were affordable. The wine list was extensive and they had some hard to find items which made it very nice. You could find everything - including some rare Malbecs from Argentina which I haven't seen anywhere.
As far as food, my girlfriend and I ordered a few things from the tapas menu, split a pizza, and ordered some "cheese trey".
The first thing was the poached pear appetizer. This was good and thl ;.e portion was perfect for $5.
The next thing we got was the Salami Tapas. To go with this meat, we also ordered the Cheese plate on the regular menu. Both pair well. if you are going to order the Cheese trey, go with the Meat tapas because both compliment each other. The spicy walnuts on the Cheese tray were also delicious.
To finish. had the prosciotto Pizza. Wow. Highlight of the night. Absolutely delicious but overpriced ($11) for just four slices. -
Review from Toni D.
I love wine and what a great deal during happy hour. All the glasses of wine are 1/2 price and the pizza! From 5-7pm. I ordered the #7 Pizza Beef tenderloin, carmelized Red Onion, roasted Red Peppers, Mushrooms, Herbs and a Gorgonzola cream sauce. Which was very good! only a plate size so enough for 1 person.
There's live music following happy hour. Very cozy and a great place to meet up with friends or even bring a date. -
Review from Larren M.
I'm giving Trios Enoteca two stars based off our brief service because I didn't have a chance to try anything before our group was ready to leave. I will give them another chance because I've heard good things, however, first impressions are tough to break. The only saving grace was a guy behind the bar (could have been the bar manager) who came out and apologized to us for the inconvenience and explained the situation, which made perfect sense.
The annoying bit was that the girl who was going to help our group was obviously irritated and came across rude and very inconvenienced by us. Not to mention, the obnoxious coworker chirping in on her way by our tables. I'll be back for a second try and hopefully it'll be a better experience. -

Trios Enoteca is a competent restaurant. Nothing stood out for me, but the staff, food and drink was solid.
I went there for their happy hour (1/2 price glasses of wine, 1/2 price pizzas). It's a solid deal and probably a good way to sample your way through a variety of wine. We enjoyed our pizza but judged as a whole, did not stand out. We also had their salume plate. I had hoped for a more flavor ranging experience, but it didn't deliver. That could have been due to the olive oil (??) that was drizzled on it.
Overall, it was just ok. -

I love this place for so many reasons:
1) Great wines and brilliant sommaliers
2) live music
3) local art/ artists
4) the long hallway between the bar and the restrooms which gives you the opportunity to walk off dumb thoughts and rethink staying out any later than you should on a weeknight...and there always seem to be interesting men chillin', smokin' cigars all chatty cathy waiting to give you the nod as you pull yourself together
oh yeah, and 5) great foodListed in: Get Your Party On~, Most Happenin' Hour

2 people, 4 glasses of fantastic wine, ahi sashimi stuffed artichoke hearts, 2 gourmet pizzas, great comfortable atmosphere - $35. Best happy hour I've ever been to, given that everything I had was top notch quality. can you find a cheaper happy hour - of course. tastier/better quality - no way
liked it so much that we stayed, listened to the live jazz that was coming on and destroyed our happy hour savings with a really nice bottle of wine.
i've been looking for a place like this in Denver for a long time. It's so comfortable but classy. Perfect way to unwind from a long work week.
i'll be back again and again. kinda mad at my husband for holding out about this place (he's been here many times) - it is my perfect placeListed in: Delightful Denver Drinking

I can't believe it took me so long to find out about this place! Thanks fellow Yelpers! As other reviewers mentioned, this place is awesome, and definitely under-appreciated. There are so many reasons that you should check this place out ASAP:
1. Ambiance- very sexy with great mood lighting...along with local art!
2. Seating- choose from a table, the bar, or comfortable leather chairs/couches, which is where my girlfriends and I sat.
3. Wine Selection- hundreds of bottles to choose from, and 40+ available by the glass! Spend as little as $18 all the way up to $200 (we went for a red and white, both priced around $20).
4. Food- good tapas selection, ranging from $3-$5. They also have appetizers, salads, and a few larger items. OH...and their pizza is to die for! A previous reviewer described the crust as being flaky, like a croissant.....and that's exactly what it's like! So buttery and delicious! We tried both pesto pizzas, one with chicken and asparagus, and the other with artichokes, tomatoes, spinach, and feta cheese. De-lish!
5. Live Jazz- live music every night, which just adds to the already fantastic atmosphere.
6. Service- our server was very knowledgeable about wine, and recommended bottles that were in our budget. She was very prompt with filling up our wine and water glasses when they were near empty.
7. The Owner- Brion Wise owns B. Wise Vineyards in Sonoma. His wine is only available at Trios Enoteca and his tasting room in Sonoma.
8. Happy Hour- runs from 5-7pm Tuesday through Friday. Enjoy 1/2 price wines by the glass; $3 Guinness, Harp, and Wynkoop beer; and 1/2 price pizzas, making them only $5!!!
So there you have it. My list of reasons to drop everything and run to Trios Enoteca. You'll thank me later. -

All of these things leave a lasting good impression as far as I'm concerned. -

This review is slightly overdue since I've been "another year older" for nearly a month at this point... if that makes sense... which I'm not sure it does. So anyway...
This year for my birthday, The Dude outdid himself by planning a surprise party for me. Surprise it was, and he did an excellent job planning and arranging and making it all happen (including the guiding me for several blocks in Downtown Denver with my eyes shut to keep it a surprise). Admittedly, I opened them when we arrived and he said, "Okay we're going to be going through a pretty tight space..." Which, even with them open it was hard to navigate because the place was packed and the tables were precariously crammed together. But once we got into a clearing I shut them again ;)
Upon entering the reserved space in the back and (re)opening my eyes I was greeted with the cheers and smiles of close friends and sister. It was great. The server did a wonderful job making sure everyone was taken care of, even though we played a bit of musical seats throughout the evening. The drink list was superb, the drinks themselves were excellent (hooray Bellini!), and the food was a nice variety. The Dude and I shared the 3-appetizer sampler (with bruschetta, mushroom strudels, and spinach artichoke dip), which was a nice way to sample their menu. As it wasn't really enough for either of us, we also ordered the Mediterranean Platter (house-made hummus, tzatziki sauce, dolmas, falafel balls, cipolline onions and pita bread crostinis). This was a generous amount between the two of us, and while the hummus was a little salty for my tastes (I'm picky haha), overall I would probably order this again if we go back.
As stated, the server did a great job making sure everyone had their drinks and food and anything else they needed. She split up checks at the end without fuss. In fact, the only reason I'm taking a star off is because of the physical layout of the space we were given. The server said, "Well this is really only about to fit about 10 people" and there were 13 or 14 of us. So maybe there was no where else to put the party (the place was packed in the front), but it didn't make for a very fluid gathering. Not that I minded getting up to talk to different folk, but the group had to sit apart and so people naturally ended up breaking up into their own little couples, etc., for the evening. And when we tried to rearrange the furniture, we were told we were blocking the aisle and not allowed to do that. Boo. Which, by the way, was the aisle to the bathroom. 'Twas a popular area I'll say that much.
The other cool thing is they have a breathalyzer near the bathrooms. Pay a dollar, unwrap a straw, see how intoxicated you are! I did it for fun (and it was interesting to see my BAC in relation to my subjective "buzzed" level), but all worked out since we were headed to an improv comedy show after the restaurant (review to follow). Overall, Trios Enoteca was an excellent setting for a special evening and I look forward to going back. I think for another large group or just-us-two happy hour, Trios Enoteco would certainly fit the bill with their varied menus and jazzy environment. -

I met a friend for happy hour at Trios. It was a great atmosphere, and the service was great. One of the biggest things that I loved was that they have a TON of wines by the glass, and they give you good pours in very nice glassware.
Also, they have a great happy hour on the wines by the glass. They are half off for any wine by the glass! I was excited to see that they had the 2007 The Prisoner on their wines by the glass list as I have been wanting to try it for a while now. It was fantastic. Also, the bartender let us try a few Colorado whites we were asking her about. I have heard their happy hour pizzas are awesome too, so I will be back! -

I'm torn when it comes to writing a review for a place I consider to be one of Denver's best, but least appreciated restaurant/wine bars.
However, on the other hand a place with such outstanding service, incredible food, (admittedly, I've only had appetizers, but you'll probably agree that the appetizers are a tease for what is yet to come with a full meal) live music - (mainly jazz is played) - or at least has been during the times I was here - deserves to be recognized.
So, if you're looking for:
1) Great food. Best pizza in Denver - yep, I said it.
2) Really nice, relaxing ambiance. It can be a bit romantic, but also a great place to relax with friends.
3) Incredible service.
4) Listening to talented local Jazz musicians. (Hi Big Sexy!)
This is your place. -

This wine bar has a happy hour that runs through Saturday and even includes a few 1/2 price specials on select bottles of wine. First time I've ever seen than in my *ahem* nationwide quest/survey to find great happy hours.
This is a wine bar that also has food so, go in knowing that. The menu has fairly small prices and small portions but with a pretty large taste. I expected mostly Italian but, the food menu has tapas, appetizers and entrees. That's right..appetizers and also the spanish word for appetizers. I half expected to see a section for mandoo since they list cuisine from so many food genres. Some odd ball choices listed together like mushroom strudel, bacon-wraped shrimp, and an olive sampler. We had the stuffed chicken, beef tenderloin and tried a few appetizers. They were delicious! The tenderloin had a creamy rosemary sauce with roasted veggies that melted in my mouth. Color me surprised.
The wine list is extensive and includes lots of American, Italian, and French red and white choices. I was impressed by the prices(non-happy hour) for bottles but, by-the-glass seemed a little high to me in this economy.
The interior is attractive with a great wood and mirrored bar but, they've set the dinning room with mostly metal chairs and patio like tables for an "I'm eating at an outdoor patio" feel. Service was ok but, with their extensive wine list(including flights)..I expected the servers to have better wine and wine pairing knowledge. Minor complaints aside....the wine, food and prices were very excellent. -

I discovered this place on a blind date. The date didn't stick around, but the restaurant did.
Their sommeliers are brilliant. Give them a taste preference, price range, and wines that you have previouslly enjoyed and they will create an exciting and delicious experience all your own.
Their food menu is surprisingly extensive for a wine bar, and I have to say, their pizzas are remarkable. It's completely cliche and boring to order a pizza, but theirs are worth giving a shot. The crusts are cripsy, buttery and flakey (almost as if it were a croissant) and the toppings are fresh and gourmet to the max. My favorite is the one with Pancetta, Chevre, Mushrooms and Mozzarella.
I absolutely love their Tapas as well. You can't go wrong with their Caprese (the mozzarella is perfect) or their Carne Plato (amazing sliced Italian meats). I've also been happy with their steak bruscetta and bacon-wrapped prawns.
Most nights of the week they have live jazz music. I recommend taking in a show. The local musicians are good and provide a nice ambiance.
If you're a wine conoisseur/seuse or just want to pretend to be one, this is the place for you. It's all the stylings of a high end wine bar without all of the pretention.Listed in: The Places I Go Out

3.5 stars: Great location, good place to meet up w/ friends. Not the best wine bar around, but reliable. The food is usually quite good, and service okay.
I've heard some excellent local musicians there; the nights with live music are definitely best. I haven't always loved the wines I've had there, which -- let's face it -- shouldn't happen. -

Great wine and small plates! In my opinion, this is the best place to head with anyone who enjoys wine that you would like to have a conversation with. Their food and wine happy hour specials can't be beat. I was there with a girlfriend a few weeks ago and we each had the spicy flight (don't let yourself leave without getting one) it was delish. We talked and drank wine for two hours and our server was enthusiastic, attentive and helpful. Cheers!
They sometimes have music too, but I've yet to check that out, I know I'll be back! -

TRIOS!!! This is my favorite wine bar downtown. I love this place. If you're familiar with the Downtown Denver bar scene you know how rowdy and crowded some of the bars can get. Not Trios. This wine bar has the option of comfortable couches or intimate tables. Trios offers a relaxed setting, an extensive wine list, great food and live jazz or blues music. If you order off the food menu I would recommend ordering a pizza, the crust is flaky and melts in your mouth. The only downside to Trios is the service can be a little slow, otherwise it's a great place to chill if you're not into loud overcrowded bars.

So, anytime we have peeps in from out of town, we choose this quiet, dark, cigar and wine joint to take them to. It's located right downtown across from Union Station.
Their tappas are amazing and their wine selection is out of this world. There's also a fine selection of cigars for the friend who likes to indulge occasionally.
They would get 5 stars, but the beer is a bit expensive and the wait staff aren't "all there" all the time.
Don't go if you aren't ok with indoor smoking - the back area is usually reserved for those who smoke. You have to pass through the area to get to the bathroom. -

++Live Jazz in a cool setting. I wouldn't go here on a night without a live band.
+Food was good and decently priced.
-For being a wine bar, the wine was surprisingly the worst aspect. I ordered a glass and it was barely a splash. One of my girlfriends glasses in her flight tasted awful, like they watered it down. -

Happiness is Happy hour at Trios.
1/2 off wine by the bottle up to 50 bucks, solid tapas and awesome service.
I love how comfy this place is, it's not overly crowded or super loud even when there's live music.
If you're not feeling it for tapas I recommend a few pizzas and a few bottles of wine.
If you have room after all of that I'd definitely try one of their desserts. They all look good but I'm stuck on the bread pudding served a la mode.
My only complaint is I wish they had a larger (better) wine selection. -

We just had a Girl's Night Out at Trios Enoteca, and it ended up being the perfect spot for tapas and talk! Great happy hour deals on both wine and food! The waitress was super nice, and also knowledgeable about the wines. I really like that this place has that reputation, that they are all somewhat sommeliers, so you can tell them what you like, and they'll be able to steer you in the right direction. Matt the Manager even came over to say hi to our party, and thank us Yelpers for coming in.
We tried 2 pizzas which were both really great (#4 and #5) along with a bunch of small plates--they really are small plates though, as there are only a couple of items on each dish (for instance, the Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus dish was a spare 2 stalks, and the Ahi Skewers had just 2 cuts of tuna, so we cut them up to share. But then again, there were 6 Potstickers). We ordered many plates, and together it was all just enough for 6 girls, and it did gave us a lot of variety. This place is also bigger than you think, extending past the bar and kitchen, there is even a private room with 2 good-sized seating areas. All in all, everyone there was perfectly nice, and all of the ladies had a good time! -

This place really has a lot going for it, unfortunately the waitress that served us last night is NOT one of those things!
First the good---great wine list, ambiance and live music! (we didn't try the food---so I can't comment on it!)
The bad----our waitress was, well, snotty! After ordering a bottle of wine she disappeared for 30+ minutes and came back empty handed. She said, we're still looking for that wine, we may be out so we'll keep looking but in the meantime here's another menu so you can see if there's something else you want. When she came back probably 10+ minutes later and confirmed that they were out. One of the group asked if she could give us a different bottle at a slightly reduced price after waiting for so long and she rolled her eyes at us! Nice service!
Anyway, we stayed, had a bottle then a second round. We paid our bill and she came to collect it and then came back right away saying "I just wanted to know what the problem was because you only left me $8 for a tip"----OMG, are you kidding me! Yeah, the tip was representative of the service, we always tip 20% but since the service was rude, slow and bad we tipped 10%.
I know that in America servers EXPECT tips (and yes rely on them) but they're not required and especially not a good tip for bad service. The audacity of her to complain about her tip was just amazing and it does reflect poorly on the place for hiring someone with so little tact! -

I love wine bars that actually offer flights for sampling!
For some reason, the wine bars in San Jose don't do this, only the sake bars.
Anyways, headed over to this place with a co-worker after dinner at Zengo for a nite cap. Tried the whites of Spain flight (not really my thing) and the bubbly flight (better than the whites of Spain). I'm not really a white drinker, but I stay hopeful that something fab will come my way. Not that night, but I will definitely try again.
The blues band was great and played a couple of covers of modern rock which I really enjoyed.
I will definitely be heading back for the reds of Spain... -

I'd walked by this place so often when wandering around downtown and finally got to check it out! The music was great, nice ambience, and my boyfriend and I split some tapas menu items. The tapas was tasty, but a bit highly priced in my opinion. Don't know if I'd go here again, but it was good to go once.

I looove Trios Enoteca. Their happy hour specials are great (half off pizzas and glasses of wine), and the decor and ambiance is totally cool - welcoming and non-pretentious yet classy (i.e. I would feel comfortable eating here in either jeans or a dress). Plus the live music is great. I've eaten many things off their menu and immensely enjoy their tapas, pizza, salads, and paninis.
I'm taking off one star for a couple of things - they advertise that they have happy hour on Saturdays too, but when we went their "specials" were only for a bottle of wine and a food dish or two. Since I was totally craving their pizza I was willing to pay full price even though I was expecting it to be half off (like the happy hour on the weekdays). Last time we went, they were out of all the red wine and the bubbly flights. WHHAAAT?! That's my favorite thing to get! Since that's never happened when I've eaten there before, I guess I'll let it slide. Lastly, their service is generally on the slow side. Overall, it's a great place to go - on a date, with a group of friends, or with out of town visitors. -

This is a great Wine and Jazz bar. If you go on Saturday's before 6pm (I think) they have half price bottles of wine and $5 pizzas. Their apps and wine is pretty awesome. If you're a wine enthusiast, go here. I'm sure they'll have something you'll like.

After filling our gullets with food at another establishment, the cute exterior and sound of jazz music filtering through the doors and windows drew the ladyfriend and I to Trios Enoteca.
All we wanted was a drink, so we didn't get to sample any of the food, though the menu looked reasonably sized and priced.
We had a couple of cocktails and marveled at the fun, sexy interior. The drinks were decent, though fairly overpriced. That's the reason they only get three instead of 4 stars. The music was a fun backdrop to good conversation, but on a Friday night at 10 I thought the atmosphere would be much livelier. It was fairly empty, but still a good time. Their wine menu seemed pretty large, and adequately priced with most wines ranging right around $8 per glass and $25+ per bottle. It's way more expensive than wine would be if purchased at a liquor store (duh) but it's par for the course in downtown Denver.
I'm excited to go back for Happy Hour sometime as I hear some great things about it. But as it was when we want, despite the great service and fun interior, the expensive drinks and empty establishment put a damper on our experience. This won't, however, deter us from going back at all. -

Trios is the one place that I've been to the most downtown. During my mass dating frenzy, everyone seemed to want to take me here. I've been here for girl's night out and other events. It can provide whatever atmosphere you want - quiet but class place to have conversation, jazzy entertainment, a place to be a little rowdy and yet hear what your company has to say.... Love it. The small plate approach works well with the wines, and I love the flights. I'm hoping to see them possibly expand what they offer for food. This could be a great opportunity. But, I do love it as it is.

I like this place. The atmosphere is nice, the location is great because its right across the street from Union Station, (easy to find and park). Nearby is Wyncoop Brewery, the Tattered Cover and much more..A good first stop if you want to browse LoDo. I've been to Trios several times, each time the waitresses treated both of us very well. The servers are all very nice looking friendly gals with a sense of humor. As others have said its a good wine bar with jazz almost every night. Make sure you check the days and hours its open before you show up. Its closed on Monday and does not open until 4pm as I recall.

Review from Mike D.
After a long day of riding and making our way downtown on Rockies weekend opening day, we finally settled on Trios for dinner later in the night. When we walked in, there was barely anyone there but as the night progressed, more people started showing and the band began performing. During games, the flat-breads, or mini-pizzas, are only $5! We ate our way through a few different ones as the bartender sat in disbelief. As per norm, this was after some sweet potato chips and a few salads! I really liked the ambiance of this place. As we sat at the bar in our own little world, the dining room/lounge became increasingly crowded as some live music filled the air. The bartender was perfect in the service department and gave us enough space to enjoy our meal while still being on top of things. I will have to come back for a later dinner just to fully enjoy the music and hopefully crunch away on more $5 pizzas!
