i'm happy to have found another place to get a nicer mani/pedi in Mill Valley.  the space is bright and comfortable and clean.  on certain days this guy (spacing on his name) will do massages!  my dogs were barking big time - so i got a 10 min foot massage - it was heaven.  my friend also got an extra foot massage  - but not by the massage guy - and she said it didn't feel special (felt more like part of the regular pedi).  prices were a little higher than other places  ($35 for mani/pedi) - but i thought it was worth it!

Dorothy, the owner, has a great personality...plafyul and joyous. This sets up the atmosphere there, which is homey . hometown . hang out . fun . chat it up . pamper yourself - it's fabulous. And they do a great job on their services. I have had everything done there from manicure/pedicure, to eyelash tint, to getting my hair dyed, and always including shoulder rub during my manicure. All the people who work there are friendly and professional. I have had so many great conversations with women I had never seen before. The prices are good too, and as a bonus, it is right across the street from Whole Foods, so it's one stop shopping.
