Crab cakes and bisque used to be the best around but they're adding to much red bell pepper this year and they were disappointing.
The po' boys are as good as you want them to be and the staff is friendly and helpful. Another diner with us had the blackened mahi and cheesy cauliflower and the mahi was "good, not great" but the cheesy cauliflower was really good and cheesy.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Review from Andy D.
At the drive by "Triggers" looks like a place where you wanna drive by. It looks like an abandoned hardware store. But, we were looking for a breckfast spot and fellow Yelpers said it was the place to go.
The ambiance, well it looked like an empty hardware store. The service though was very friendy and expediant. Trigger's had cheap breckfast special, which was a breckfast burrito, for $5.99, looked good, but I got the grouper and two eggs and my friend got the big breckfast.
My order, the eggs were cooked perfectly, the cheese grits were tasty and the grouper was fried (something I did'nt want) but good. My friends big breckfast was huge and since it disapered, must of been good too.
This is a place I'd go back to, service and food were great. -

food here is consistent and pretty flavorful... not too many restaurants in this area... so we end up going here more often than we'd like to.... but at least the food is consistent and the service is decent....
kinda a small diner type atmosphere... but kinda pricey for what you'd expect a diner type place to be....
decent size food portions...
the sauces they have are very flavorful but very heavy, the hush puppies are yummy.... and they usually have fresh fish specials, but make sure you order the sauce to go with it or the fish isn't too flavorful....
bread pudding here was tasty too... -

The seasonings here consist mainly of salt. The atmosphere is "early chowhall". OMG if it wasn't for the out of towners this place would have closed years ago.

The food and atmosphere are not what they used to be and the prices are higher as well.
