I needed my dress pants hemmed, and they did a quick (less than 1 hour) and quality job on the hemming.  The length was perfect, and I was happy to get it back the same day.  The lady even told me to come back for any adjustments if I needed to, since I didn't come with my dress shoes, and wasn't sure if the length would work out with a different pair of shoes.

The pricing was very reasonable as well - I didn't feel like I had to break the bank to get a pair of pants hemmed.  Some places I called charged double or triple what Triangle Tailors charged me.

If I need other alterations, I will most likely be back here.  I was very satisfied with the work and service they provided.

This is definitely my go-to place for any tailoring work that needs to be done. It's conveniently located since it's close to Southpoint mall which has a lot of stores that sells suits.  I simply pick up a suit and just take it here to get it tailored to my specifications.

Recently, I got the pant legs hemmed and brought up the sleeves a bit more for a total of $28 which I think is reasonable. I just picked up my suit today and tried it on and everything looks just right. They have two changing rooms which you can quickly step into before the tailoring and after the tailoring to see the results.

Tip for the guys: When you visit, I'd recommend wearing your dress shoes with a dress shirt or a nice button down to make things easier for you when they ask questions on the alteration.

They do have a dog wondering around unleashed so if you're afraid of dogs, that might be an issue. But I've never had any problems.

I've never had anything professionally tailored before. Went here baed on Yelp reviews and I'm so happy I did. I needed 2 bridesmaid dress to be tailored.

My first dress was a floor length chiffon dress from David's Bridal. When I tried the dress on I didn't think it needed alterations but I brought it in anyways. I tried the dress on and the woman helping me said it didn't need any tailoring. I appreciated that since she easily could have said it needed altering and charged me for it.

My second dress was a cocktail length with a deep V neck cut. This dress definitely needed altering since the chest part was way too big. I brought it in and the woman pinned the necessary areas and that was it! She said it would take one week and cost $20. It was actually done 2 days earlier and it looks great!

The service was fast and very reasonably priced. I will definitely use them in the future.

I brought my wedding dress in to shorten my hem and get the sleeves altered. They did a great job working with a difficult fabric on the hem. They did make an alteration I didn't ask for on my sleeves even though I thought I was very clear. However, in the end, my dress did look beautiful and I felt beautiful in it.

I came here because of the 5-star ranking based on the previous 12 reviews.

I went all or nothing. I brought in 10 shirts for alterations that included bringing in the waist and shortening the sleeves. They quoted me $256, charging $15 per sleeve. Ouch. Definitely not the cheapest place. A quick Google search shows sleeve shortenings typically cost $10-20, but I'm surprised it costs so much in Durham.

This is a Vietnamese mom-and-pop shop with two woman doing alterations in the back and a gentleman in the front handling customers. They were kind enough; the man was less expressive while the woman made some conversation while making notes for the alterations.

They keep their large dog, unleashed inside the waiting/fitting area. The man's English is good while the woman who measured me seemed like she could barely speak it. They spoke in Vietnamese a lot while I was there.

They outsource their dry cleaning "to a guy. He does good work." I submitted two articles of clothing for this service just for convenience.

I will update my review once I take a look at their work.

Nice little business. I don't often get clothing tailored, so I wasn't quite sure where to start. They have reasonable prices for the work being done and they asked me when I'd like to pick it up. Very accommodating I'd recommend this place to anyone else looking to get tailoring done.

They did a great job of my jacket alterations. My only real complaint is that the shop was filthy when I went there. I love dogs, but I don't really want to see a golden retriever wandering around the place that I'm trusting with my nicest suit. Sure enough, my jacket came back with a big clump of dog hair on it.

Very impressed with Triangle Tailors' ability to get multiple adjustments my bridesmaids dress just right on the first try.  It was about a 10 day turnaround.  They will certainly be my go-to tailor in the area.

I took my pants back and they fixed it for me. It's a plus that they guarantee their work and will fix it for you if you are not pleased.

Excellent and convenient, and they guarantee their work!  When I was unhappy with the fit, they kept it another day and had it perfect when I returned, at no charge.

I really appreciate the easy park-and-walk-up location and the quick service.  The staff are friendly and take their time with you, and I'll definitely return.

I don't think I can take my clothes to any other tailor besides Triangle Tailors. I've had 3 items altered here and all were done super fast (some even before the promised date) and the quality of the alterations was great. Their hours are good, location is convenient, the staff is nice, they text you when your stuff is ready, the prices are fair, they guarantee their work, and my clothes now fit - what more could you ask for?

    First to Review

After ordering an adorable dress online and finding that it was just a little too large and had gone out of stock so couldn't be exchanged, I decided to go for my first tailoring experience. I was a little nervous because the dress way kind of expensive, but I swallowed my fear and went to Triangle Tailors.

They were super nice, conveniently located, and made me feel involved in the alterations process. I picked up my dress yesterday and it fits perfectly - you can't even  tell it's been altered. Same with the skirt I had taken in as well.

With a 25 dollar price tag for both perfectly fitted items, I would say this is a good deal and you won't regret it.

I took in about 10 articles of clothing. 5 stars for how fast they were. They said to pick it up on Saturday and I received a text 3 days earlier that said they were ready for pick up. 3 Stars for the work done though.  I asked to take in a dress and leave the pockets, but my pockets were gone when I got the dress back. My hem had fallen out of one side of a pair of slacks and you can tell it was hemmed (The pants are gray...very noticeable).  I had straps on a maxi dress taken in and the straps were twisted, it looks like she took in the main strap, but not the twisted material, so therefore it looks messy. I will try another tailor for now on, but I like the location of this one.

Thrilled with the items I have had altered at this shop. Items are usually done in a week and very reasonably priced. No one would know my fleece vest was altered, even on close inspection. Seamstress did an amazing job of cutting and resewing seams. Perfection. Have had the bodices of  two dresses altered so there weren't any "wardrobe malfunctions", and again, they did a great job. Highly recommend.

This place delivers.  Quick, affordable ($8 for pants hem), and friendly.  No more Lee Tailors for me.  In addition to great service, their location is convenient (near Old Navy) and they have ample parking.  Never again will I fight mall traffic to get to Lee's, Triangle Tailors is fantastic!
