6 reviews for Treasure Bay Casino Resort
We stayed here for a three day weekend during Scrapin The Coast. Our room was great with nice warm modern feel, and the bathroom is very nice too. Big flat screen tv, large balcony overlooking the pool and bar area.
There are four restaurant options: The Den, Blu, CQ, and the Infinity Buffet. We ate lunch at the Den and the food was surprisingly really good. The Den's menu is also available for room service. The Infinity Buffet breakfast was not so great, but the price wasn't too bad. CQ is on the 9th floor and is expensive and claims to have a dress code.
The Casino is two floors, mainly slots, and is not all that big, but still nice. I liked that they have several black jack tables with various minimum bets, $5, $10, and $25. Free drinks if your gambling, yet somehow I forgot about this perk and did not take advantage.
Overall, great experience and a nice price for the room and experience that comes with staying at a Casino. The larger casino's down Beach Blvd. may be nice, but a much heavier price tag comes with staying there.
Resort looks much different now than the pic above. Apparently the building was washed away during Katrina and they've rebuilt it as a beautiful, modern, LV-like resort on land.
Room was nice. Leather-tufted headboard, glass enclosed shower, plasma tv, etc. Service was great. You can't beat southern hospitality!
Infinity Buffet had the best dungeness crab legs that have ever touched my lips. Served hot and after one crack, the meat would slide out smoothly. Free alcohol if you're playing the slot machines.
Grabbed a late snack in the dining room around 3a. Burgers, philly cheese steak, steak and eggs were served with a smile. I wanted a piece of pecan pie and ice cream to go. She brought back THREE slices for me!!
I'm not a big gambler and casino resorts aren't normally my thing, but I thoroughly enjoyed this place. A lot of rebuilding going on around the resort and you can't miss the empty lots where buildings used to stand before Katrina.
Yeah, I'm a city girl, but I'm glad to have visited the Gulf Coast and especially Mississippi. Nice and friendly people who will do just about anything to ensure you have a good time.

The casino is small but comfortable, but the Infinity Buffet is awesome. Now it may not have the selections of the larger casinos but with all you can eat dungeness crab (**** stars) and plasma tv's displaying the menu I think Jennifer H. had it right, it is some of the best crab around.
Now I dropped a star because you have to order liquor from the bar outside the restaurant but our server was excellent (Thanks Mia) and she kept out table clean and drinks filled.
She also gave us some hand sanitizer when we were done!!! Their seafood gumbo (**** stars) was very tasty and the oysters on a half shell (**** stars) had me rethinking my decision to focus on the crab.
All in all it was a great dining experience at $20.00 a person!!!

Vegas, this is not. It's not even Tunica. Treasure Bay Casino has to be the smallest, rinky dink casino I've ever seen. We didn't stay here or eat at the buffet. Free drinks were available - and needed to spend more than 5 minutes here. We didn't come to Biloxi to gamble, but I can promise you it will never be a gambling destination based upon what I've seen.

This review is only for the lunch buffet at Treasure Bay casino and resort
I had to get a taste of all the casinos before leaving the coast and decided to have lunch at TB. I went to this casino when it was a pirate ship on the water....beautiful on the outside but lacking on the inside....and the ship got washed away during hurricane Katrina
They have now built it on land, from scratch. It looks more like a glorified motel on the outside...not very appealing unlike the other casinos
The lunch buffet is only $9.95...an excellent deal for the food you get. There were many different stations but I stuck to the sea food and cajun sections. The boiled shrimp and mussels were fresh and plenty. The red beans and rice was great with the right blend of spices. The gumbo left much to be desired. I feel bad when you cannot get decent gumbo on the gulf coast....come on, this is the land of gumbo.
The Asian section had chicken wings, General Tsao's chicken, and some other stuff I did not care about. There was also a carving station and a section with fried catfish, hushpuppies, fried shrimp, and collard greens. The catfish was good, hushpuppies were a dry, fried shrimp was OK, and I did not taste the greens.
The bbq station has ribs....and they were good.... not much sauce, but good
The italian section had pork marsala (OK), fried calamari (good), pasta shells, broccoli with cheese and other stuff that I did not taste.
I had a no sugar added cheesecake for dessert which was good.
Overall, the food is not great but good (for the price). Service is great...my glass of sweet tea was always full. A decent lunch buffet.

If you find yourself in Mississipi for any reason. Don't go to this place. Staff is unfriendly. They told me you they give me a special rate of $69 for checking in at 6 am. I would never have stayed here if I was able to reserve room at the Beau Rivage. Now that is a place to stay. I paid $119 a night versus Beau Rivage was about the same for weekend rate. The room had no scenery where I was put. Elevator had a no smoking sign but smelled like you in a ashtray death box. Shower is a huge tub that gave me problems stepping in and out. Valet had no idea on how to use my car because I guess they never ran into a keyless vehichle. Check in and check out rules are is pretty poor. Check in is at 3-4 PM but they kick you out at 11 AM. I sleep in late when I go to the casino and never had issue with late check out. Most places in Vegas call me around 1 PM if I'm not up already. Here they called at 10:30am....for some damn reason. Checking out was a problem. I would never come back to this place...I would rather sleep on the beach.
