Travisa sucks hard. I've had to use their services a few times for my job and every single time I've been let down. I have to call all the time and repeat repeat repeat the phrase "that is unacceptable."

Their emergency service is completely unreliable for same-day visas. Even though they charge hundreds of dollars there is no guarantee that they will actually get around to the visa. Additionally, if there's a problem they do not contact me. I have to call them to check on the processing status and then they're like, oh yeah, there's a problem with your form so we didn't submit it. Thanks for letting me know, you a-holes.

I was really pleased with Travisa.  I was planning a trip to South America and the consulate had very restricted hours.  It was a big burden to take off work to go to the consulate so although I was concerned about mailing my passport, I decided to go with Travisa.  Their process for requesting a visa was very professional and streamlined.  I was also happy with the service when I called with questions.  Additionally, as soon as they received my documents, they sent an email and set me up on their website where I could check the status of my application at any time.    The visa was dropped off and picked up from the consulate exactly when they said it would be and they informed me of any changes as the process went on.  Once they picked up my visa my passport arrived back at my home the next day via fed ex.  Travisa gave me such peace of mind and I was glad to pay the processing fee for that!

I don't have time to go to a country's consulate in SF to get a visa completed.

I'm ok with the $49.00 processing fee that Travisa charges for their services.  They typically have a 5-6 business day turnaround.  Complete everything online, mail them the paperwork with your passport and voila they get it done for you.

It's quick, easy, and saves me the hassle.  I've used them twice and have always been happy with their services.

And how stoked am I that I have another page in my passport full up!?!?

I went in to expedite my passport when I realized it was expired a week before I was supposed to leave for Italy.  These guys were awesome.  They basically told me I was better off not using their services (in my particular situation) and just going to the passport agency on my own, and they answered all my questions about getting a rush passport.  They were very helpful and honest - I would definitely recommend them to others.

Needed a Russian Visa pretty quickly and these guys helped me out. Found them through a Google ad and went down to their office. Seems like most of their business doesn't walk through the door, but they were nearby so I decided to check them out personally. My conclusion: they are legit and reliable. No need to stress about sending them your passport. Prices weren't cheap, but are competitive with comparable services. I worked with Elmor who was helpful and efficient.
