Trader Joe's is great because it offers gourmet food at incredibly reasonable prices. AND it's half a block from my apartment (SWEET). This particular TJ's has a wonderful (and attractive!) staff that are attentive, friendly, and like to tease me when I buy multiple bottles of Charles Shaw on a Friday night. Awesome!
However, their produce is a little iffy--fortunately Madison Market is right next door for that. AND they discontinued my favorite cereal in the entire world (I guess wheaty pouches filled with CHOCOLATE FUDGE is not for everyone... which I don't really understand)... but I'm a forgiving person.
What can be said about Trader Joe's that already hasn't been said. TJ's is a great place to find all that stuff that you didn't know you needed. Its hard to use TJ's as a all in one grocery store (although some do so) but I find that using it as a adjunct to a store like the Madison Market is a perfect match.
This particular TJ's has a free parking garage upstairs which is nice. Although the garage is poorly designed and has a ton of tight corners. Fender Bender City up there.
this has now become my neighborhood TJ's, and I couldn't be happier. I probably stop by at least 2x a week for miscellaneous items, and the staff is always friendly and chatty (but not in the trying-too-hard kind of way). being on a somewhat selective diet, it's nice to know there's a grocery store nearby that stocks decently-priced organics.
OH! And they have some of the best prices on organic fair trade coffee, I don't even bother going to Whole Foods anymore for my home brew stock

Every time I come here I get what I came for and then some and still never break the bank. I love the fact that I can get wine for 3.25 after tax and a six pack of beer for as low as 2.99.
Great source for vegan groceries.
I have been in LOVE with Trader Joe's for many many years. I thought I'd make it official and yelp it so here.
After moving out west.. Something about shopping at Trader Joe's always got me 'feeling California'.. The plentiful organics of tiny meat and cheese, single dinner servings, the people that work here are so open, helpful and chill. It is like we really are saving the world with our little reusable trader joe's bags! Yay!
My TJ Loves:
- lil cups of coffee and the other 'free sample of the day'.
- the new Frozen Indian Dinner Food is so yummy, like take out- I feel guilty buying it and missing my restaurant.. but can't help myself.
- Mediterranean Hummas
- Charles Shaw Wine - great in Sangria.
- Other reasonable priced cute label wines which are great for gifts.
- Simpler Times Beer - great for cheap drink and for boiling Brauts in.
- The crackers, cookies, chips and breads.
- Peanut Butter cups and molten lava cakes.
- Basil plants
There are so many more great items here. I like em all! I reviewed the Madison shop as it seems to carry the best selection.
Oh, Trader Joe's, how I love thee...
Even though most TJ's are fairly small, I find that I can spend tons of time here. Without even noticing, I've been shunning the Safeway's and Fred Meyer's and only going to TJ's (well, with the exception of Central Market. I don't think I'll ever kick my CM habit anytime soon)
Everything I've tried has been great: salads, fresh veggies, frozen food, and snacks. The prices are great too. Seriously, where else can you get a six-pack of Fiji water for $5?!
Here are a few of my faves:
Field Green Salad
Guilt Free Pita Chips
Popcorn with Olive Oil
Green Bean Chips (soo addicting)
Chicken Vindaloo - frozen section
I love this Trader Joe's but the parking garage sucks. I sometimes poach parking across the street at the Shell gas station (after buying gas of course). Otherwise I wait for off hours to go into one of the worst designed parking structures in the City. I drive an SUV but the problem isn't so much with my vehicle as it is with the inept drivers that seem to plague this wonderful City. For some reason even people with the smallest of cars aren't sure how to navigate this garage. So, Trader Joe's is awesome but their parking garage in this location is total dog crap.
Out of all the TJs I have been in, I love this one the most. I even have my favorite clerks - Charlie, you cutie! I live in Wedgwood, so should go to the U District TJs, but that place is whack, yo! The Madison TJ seems to be the only place allowed to make reasonable parking space lines. Wha? Diagonal? Get straight out of town!
The staff is ... great, I would say. Sometimes you get someone who doesn't feel like talking - that's fine. Other times, you get someone who asks you whether having a child was turning out to be a good thing, or not so much (seriously). There are only two people I avoid because I think they suck: Joe and too-cool-guy with the star tattoos and bicycle. Today, I had Miljen check me out and I told him about pulling my back - he made my bags all evenly light for me and was so sweet. I wanted to hug him.
They keep things well-stocked. The produce section is the best out of all the TJs, including CA ones, I have ever been in. They seem to get better and better stuff, more and more cuts of meat, different sprinkle cheese, GF beer ... am I gushing?
The only thing that sucks is that people don't know how to drive. You need to be on your toes in the parking lot, especially if you have a kid in a cart and you don't want to die. But that's a Seattle thing and not a TJ thing. At least this location tries to manage the craziness with a cop and reasonable parking spaces.
I've never been to a Trader Joe's I didn't like, and so far, this one trumps them all. It's huge! Aaand it now has individual produce items, so if I only want one bell pepper instead of 5, bam! Both times I've been so far I've been friendly-flirted with by the cashiers, and they have everything (within reason) that I could possibly need. The fact that it is just up the street from my place is a definite bonus, since the parking lot is a bit cramped and crazy.
definitely a fan of Trader Joe's, though they're not exactly my main grocery store, they're my go-to place for frozen processed food or certain items you can only get there.
good thing they're right up the street from Madison Market, because they compliment each other.
They've expanded their parking lot!!! Sure it only adds another 10 parking spots but A+ for effort.
I think by now everyone knows the virtues of Trader Joe's but here are my TJ's staples: cured meats and cheeses, shit-free eggs and milk, sardines (yeah, sardines) and alcoholic beverages. All of this at reasonable prices and the ever-friendly TJ's service.

After surveying the three TJ's in the Seattle area -- I'm going to have knock off the Queen Anne… Read more »
I have this little life goal. See, I wasn't brought up to love vegetables so I'm slowly attempting to integrate things into my diet that are a bit more healthy. I used to gag when I ate lettuce. Seriously. Now I love salads :)
Anyway the rest of this review has nothing to do with vegetables but another thing on that list was SUSHI. Everyone loves it and I've always thought it was just appalling... Until there was Trader Joe's. Their spicy california roll is SOOO AWESOME. I'm scared to ever try it anywhere else but I try sushi probably 3x/year and this is the only one that has made it through the fiery gates of Lauren's stomach.
I want moooore.
Also the best thing in this store is the honey sesame sticks. Seriously, get them.
I wish it was closer to my house.
Groceries are very important to me. I'm a single dad, and I believe I would be considered "Middle Class". This means that, as much as I enjoy good food prepared for me by others, that's not something I can do for every meal.
And Trader Joe's is my absolute favorite place to get the staples of my diet. It's not pretentious like other natural food stores (Whole Foods - I know you're cool, but I still think you suck), and I have found is cheaper than traditional grocery stores (that's right, even my Safeway card can't save me this much money!!!)
The key word, however, is staples. While there is a decent selection of all sorts of things here, there's really nothing high end (ie: they have good cheeses, but no great cheeses, decent wine, but no really good wine). Also, the steaks and fresh fish are never really that great. I prefer the meat at QFC. As for fish, a traditional grocery or the Market is a better bet, especially if you don't want farm raised fish.
But, for everything else, it's spot on. While the selection of produce and the like varies, the quality always is pretty damn good. There are plenty of different types of cereal, and thanks to their having everything store branded, there's no huge markup (yay!). The breads aren't super fab, but pretty good overall, and the handmade tortillas are wonderful.
I've never had any issues with the processed meats, and they have the cheapest Hebrew National dogs around. As for dairy - the milk is always fine, they carry Kefir for the freaks from Eastern Europe and Russia (point of clarification - my partner is from Russia and loves Kefir), and there's plenty of tasty (and plain) yogurt.
The frozen foods are fine (I regularly use frozen veggies, and these are just fab), and they have a large selection of nuts (kind of like the Cuff!) and other snack foods.
There's no cola, however, so I have to get coke for my whisky elsewhere...damn!
Long story short, they are right there with staple foods and snacks. Decent beers, acceptable wines, and nice rotating variety. If you go in the afternoon, though, expect there to be little choice in the way of produce. Also, the store is often crowded, uncomfortably so. The lines move pretty quickly, however, so there's never an unacceptable wait to get the hell out (unlike Safeway). And then there's the parking, which is awful. But, on the plus side, the expanded parking will be open soon.
I heard a rumor once that the Safeway on 15th and E John was going to close, and TJ's was going to move in. I wish that was true, because the space would be rad, and then they could have even more selection!!! But, for now, I'm happy with the selection, the quality and the service. Hurrah!
I could spend hours in this store browsing the isles of gourmet food for a person on a budget. My first stop when entering Trader Joe's is to hit up the sample booth and grab my mini cup of coffee to drink while shopping.
Their frozen food department is fun and full of quality. They have these enchiladas that are only $1.99. The sauce is delicious and the meal is filling. In their cracker department they have bags of these pretzels filled with peanut butter. I have been getting down with those since first grade, my grandma referred to them as "turds" For the dessert section the chocolate covered orange stix are where it's at. The wine and beer selection is big. I miss the two buck chuck, but you can still find wine as low as $3.00.
The people who work here are friendly and talkative. I get a good feeling when I am in this store.
Good for some things, but eating their cereal is like eating a box of gravel, twigs, and ass. They have an excellent selection of frozen items and cheap, tolerable wine. Their parking lot is a lot like Deathrace 2000, so be prepared for some frustration there.
I have to say, I'm a fan. The parking garage could use some work, but that aside, it's the same fantastic Trader Joe's I'm used to.
My favorite thing about Trader Joe's is that they have a ton of ready-to-eat (once heated/cooked) meals that are still healthy, and they're NOT expensive. You would expect a healthier store to be pricier, but Trader Joe's usually isn't.
My purchases of choice? Tomato-pesto flatbread, goat cheese pizza, olive and goat cheese tapanade, frozen mango bites (kept frozen and eaten frozen, mind you), and, okay, pretty much everything else as well.
Whoever you are Trader Joe, I'm proposing. To you. Right now.
I LOVE Trader Joe's.
For the financially challenged graduate student, TJ's is the place to shop! I love their pre-cooked frozen meals (my fav being the penne with spicy tomato sauce that contains no dairy!) and even more... the prices. Almost every time I shop there, I pile my cart/basket full of groceries and am genuinely surprised at the total bill when they ring me up at the end.
I agree that they may not have as much variety as Whole Foods/Madison Market . But since I can't really afford to shop at either of those stores as frequently as I'd like, I appreciate what TJ's does have to offer. In particular, I love their peach soy yogurt, their white bean with basil hummus (OMG DELICIOUS), no-pudge brownies (baked using a vanilla soy yogurt), salad mixes, and salsa. If you can have dairy, I HIGHLY recommend their lava cakes too. 45 seconds in the microwave and you have the most perfect chocolatey heaven-in-your-mouth dessert.
So whaddya say, TJ? Shall we get hitched?
This is a great TJs location. The parking garage is a bit insane, but once in the store, it's very spacious and well laid out.
Probably the biggest of the Seattle Joe's, the one in Totem Lake being the biggest. Oh, and unlike all of the other locations, this store is open until 10pm...
Very friendly staff who's been happy and chatty when we've been in... and they actually have a good selection of bread in the evenings, which is MUCH more than I can say about the U District location.
Still three stars-I just go there for a few specialty items like interesting crackers, but I did want to comment on the parking garage.
This is the single worst parking garage I've ever, or probably ever will experience. The designer, a maniacal genius who spent many a night designing the human equivalent of a rat maze, for the amusement of only him. I'd like to see the figures for how many 'fender benders' have occurred in this god forsaken destruction derby that's posing for a parking lot!

So I'm not "fancy" by any stretch of the imagination-I think a lot of people that go to Trader Joes… Read more »
So today was the 3rd time in as many months that I wasted my time even pulling into this RIDICULOUS excuse for a parking garage, then turned around & went back out.
Seriously, whoever the geniuses are that decide on real estate for their stores, need to consider parking!
I do occasionally walk since it is in my 'hood, but considering I am generally purchasing more than 2 bags full, it just isn't feasible for me walk.
I still love what is inside Trader Joe's, I just wish I could get to it!!
This would easily be 5 stars for me if it wasn't such a pain to get in/out of the garage & park. And really right now I want to give it 1 star because I wasted 15 minutes pulling in & out while dodging other drivers, hoping not to crash, and not purchasing a single item. ARGH.
I love Trader Joe's. Usually.
Ever since moving from CA I was stoked to hear that there was a Trader Joe's near me on the Hill. When I finally made my way over there I was so, so, SOOOOOO disappointed.
Here are some downers:
- The parking garage is a nightmare. If you're not a good driver or you own an SUV, park on the street! This garage is friendly only to tiny cars and people who are used to driving/parking in tiny, packed garages. It's cute that they have a parking garage cop though. HA!
-The produce goes off ASAP. It's almost as if you bring it home and it knows it's time to rot and go soft and moldy.
-The bread is the same. It's always dated so you have 2-3 days to use an entire loaf!
-It's a small store. The Trader Joe's I've been to in the past were 1/3 bigger (at least) and all the food I liked to buy isn't available at this Trader Joes. What's with that?!
They still sell some great food and I love the sample bar. I am usually totally sold on whatever I taste. In general it's a good store but it could be better. I tend to give in and just go to Safeway or QFC because I never have trouble parking or finding what I want.
This is the furthest grocery store I could go to, and instead of walking to Whole Foods (WF) or driving half the distance to QFC, I even go an extra block past Madison Market to get here. Street parking is limited in this neighborhood and yes, the parking garage is slightly traumatizing, but your best bet for a spot after noon is from 2pm-4pm M-F.
I think the store is laid out backwards and you have to do a bit of backtracking to keep all your cold items till the end. The store is certainly small compared to QFC or WF, but it also means I can get 2-weeks' worth of food for 2 people in 30 minutes. Yes, a majority of the items are TJ's own brand, but they're good quality and certainly more affordable than WF.
You have to be a jackass to NOT like Trader Joe's.
They have great prepared meals for the lazy, fresh produce for people who like produce, a great cheese selection for people who dig on the lactose, and a fab wine selection for lushes like me!
And the prices? CANNOT BE BEAT.
Srsly, go see for yourself.
My only rant is that the parking sucks ass. I should just start biking there b/c it would be a lot easier than fighting my way thru that clusterf*ck parking garage.
Trader Joe's is a great healthier grocery store and offers all of the essentials one might need for their kitchen pantry. The prices are pretty good and offer pretty decent quality.
This location gets three stars simply cause of it's parking. The garage is one of the most traumatizing driving experiences one might have and street parking is often hard to come by. If the architect was trying to encourage a walk/mass transit lifestyle, this parking lot will certainly push the masses to do so!
The store itself can get busy during rush hours, but the staff does a pretty good job to get the lines through.
Usually hit the place 4 or 5 times a week. Great to grab that one other thing you need for dinner. Plus, it's where I usually buy my beer. It's not always a cheap trip, but I also buy my "bulk groceries" at larger stores where I can spend a hundred or so and actually have food for a couple of weeks (I can stretch a jar of peanut butter pretty damn far!).
The staff is great and they always make me feel like I'm walking into a neighborhood grocery store from the 60s. The clientele are courteous and I could care less about the parking (I walk). So, five-star experiences 4 or 5 times a week for me!
I can just imagine a couple of us Seattle hippies with our reusable bags coming to blows over a parking spot in the garage at this place. It's that bad. That's why I had to have a little chuckle today when I noticed the new installation... an SPD officer trying to direct the inept drivers.
Like any Trader Joes, the produce leaves something to be desired. Sometimes you come across really great finds like caviar or frozen chocolate lava cakes. Wine is cheap, but you have to know which ones are actually potable... some really suck.
I *heart* Trader Joes. They almost always have just what you need for a recipe - the only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because they don't have a lot of specialty ingredients or "regular" grocery store items (i.e., table salt). But I guess that's what keeps the prices low, which is fine by me.
I also love the little taste-testing area at the back of the store - often inspirational for meal-time.
I am eager to sing the praises of Trader Joe's. This place may not be intended for the seasoned chef who wants to craft a gourmet meal using the finest ingredients. But it is for the busy parent, yuppie, and college student alike who craves food that is easy to prepare, palatable, somewhat nutritious and won't break the bank (alcohol included).
Thank you, Trader Joe, for simplifying my life and the lives of my loved ones.
I liken Trader Joe's to the whole Obama phenomena. Folks just go on and on about how great it is and how everything is so cheap and fresh and such a nice "change" from other chain retailers yet despite the rhetoric, it doesn't deliver. While I certainly have an affinity for their white bean hummus and their cheap cat food, I find that most of the products do not deliver. Most of the produce is prepackaged which is not only non-green, it also spoils all that much faster. And don't even get me started about their paper products. It's all so thin that while wiping your ass with their toilet paper, you're guaranteed to get stinky finger when the paper tears at the slightest bit of use...seriously.
Now, I know that not everyone can afford Whole Foods or PCC, but I'm a believer in the ideology that you get what you pay for. This is Seattle...there's many of Farmer's Markets to get reasonable organic produce and quite honestly a lot of their other products are branded under a different name at the same price at Safeway. If Trader Joe's is across the street from you then fine, go here. However, I don't really think it's something you should drive across town to shop at...that's unless you're coming for the white bean hummus which are divine.
What can I say...I love Trader Joes. I first encountered Trader Joes in the bay area and was pleased when I found out there was a store not too far from my house.
One of my favorite pastimes is going to the grocery store. Odd I know but I enjoy perusing the aisles and seeing what kind of food is being offered. In fact, whenever I go to a foreign country I make it a point to go to a grocery store to see if I can find anything unusual or interesting.
Trader Joes has a large selection of frozen food items that I do not normally encounter. I was there today and found a rack of lamb for $15.00. What a deal! I will say that while some of the prices are reasonable...others can be on the verge of crazy. For example, why would I pay over $4.00 for milk. Yes, yes I realize it is organic and that it probably came from some special kind of cow but I would rather go to Safeway and pay $1.00.
All in all I really do love Trader Joes...but alas they get 4 starts. Mainly because of their selection. I can buy 2 buck Chuck but not a 12 pack of toilet paper.
Back in October I made a friend at work. We always seemed to meet up at the microwave. And Jodi confided in me, "You have to go Trader Joe's. It's out of the way, but so worth it".
Well.... I finally went out of my way. And I don't regret it.
Okay... maybe when those two drunk men with cigarettes were getting closer to me, as I inched my way to the bus stop, I regretted it. But in the comfort of my home..... I'd do it again. If someone goes with me. Sure.
Well... the ready-made sushi looked really old. And there was a lot. That scared me too. No one likes to see old food. So, I didn't get any sushi.
Trader Joe's has an array of foods with an international flair that strikes contrast and adds intrigue. They have such a great appeal. Friendly and helpful staff too.
Walking into this Trader Joe's heightens my spirits. It is my favorite store in which to go shopping for my favorite thing. I live really close, so it is also convenient. (The only grocery store closer is Madison Market, which is good for some things but I can't even handle that much pretention at a record shop, much less a grocery store.)
Additionally, there are tons of nice babes who work here.
I love Wednesdays.
1. I only have one meeting - and it's one where I actually get to make an impact.
2. Skillet is behind my building. BACON JAM.
3. I go sit in a tiny room with floor to ceiling windows, hardwood floors and a fireplace and try to shut my brain up for an hour.
4. I hit Trader Joe's at around 9 pm on the arm of a person with whom I spend all of our time together laughing. And stalking hot boys around the store.
R: Check out the bewbies on him.
D: Go bite his nipples. Check out that badonk.
R: I'll give you $50 if you grab the booty.
D: Show me your cash liar.
R: Whatever whore, you know you want to rub up on it.
D: SWEET! They have my chicken. I'm only eating chicken until Mexico.
R: I'm only eating banana waffles until 1/20/09. The end of an error.
D: Because Bush is a monkey?
R: I have no idea what I'm talking about. That would be insulting to primates in general.
So the secret is: mid-week, late. No problems parking, all stocked up with the chicken and waffles. Might want to guard your naughty bits however. That goes for the ladies too - everyone loves a nice rack.
I accidentally call this store "Trader's Joe" a lot, and every time I do, my bf laughs at me so hard....
Besides the bitter memory, I love this super market.
I usually go there to get three things that are cocoa almond chocolate, Green Tea Yogurt and shrimp salad. I probably melt and die without them.
I think people in Seattle already know about Trader Joe's more than I do.
But, but, let me tell you one thing. Just one, I promise.
The problem of this Trader Joe's is the parking garage.
It's located the inside, so you don't have to worry about the gloomy Seattle's weather; however, the garage is really small.
If you drive a hummer, try other location unless you don't care about scratches on your car. If you drive SUV, good luck with parking, believe in your parking skill.
Dear Joe,
You are so awesome. I am continually amazed when I come to visit your store. What do I find so amazing? Well...
-Sliced sourdough rounds for the price of Wonder Bread at the "regular" grocery store.
-Pre-cooked grilled chicken strips that have twice as much at a lower price than QFC.
-Imported cheeses for $5 a pound!... or even less! I can't get American cheese at big stores for that price!
-Organic produce that mysteriously lasts twice as long as the preservative and pesticide-laden variety from the average grocery establishment. You have single-handedly reintroduced greens into my diet.
-Your delicious microwavable pilaf, which makes the perfect quick lunch when mixed with the chicken mentioned above.
-Ridiculously addicting mini-cookies in a myriad of makes and models.
-$4 imported wines with Giraffes on the bottle.
-Wasabi peas, which are healthy and completely addicting.
Seriously, Joe... You are my grocery hero. Thank you for being you.
I love Trader Joes. It's in an ideal location for my family to walk to so we never have to deal with the parking situation that others have mentioned in their reviews. I always enjoy the demos in the back end of the store. Often times I take those ideas and try them out in my own kitchen. They've got such a great variety of organic groceries. It's always clean here and all of the employees are eager to help you with whatever you need.
There are plenty of healthy foods and snacks to choose from, but lets not forget all of those awesome treats! Cookies, European chocolates, flavored wafer squares! I LOVE Trader Joes.
**Also Try**
*Orange Chicken from the Frozen Section. It's really freaking tasty.
*Organic Green Beans from the Frozen Section.
*Frozen Mango. It is so tasty in the summertime! I don't use it for smoothies at all, I just plop some in a bowl and eat em straight!
*Hansen's Pomegranate Soda. Probably the healthiest and most delicious soda I have ever tried.
*Mint Chocolate Cocoa mix, for your own good purchase some! It's so delicious on those cold winter mornings!
*Tikka Masala Simmer Sauce -Spicy! mmm Now I can make my beloved Butter Chicken @ home!
*Breakfast Blend Coffee - So delicious
I felt so good walking inhere!
Flowers greet you. Very warm personable workers!
It's usual TJ's hospitality and good deals in very healthy food.
I still dont get why raw food is in plastic.. I dont like that BUT the cost is good and it may protect food in ways I an informed person may not understand.
I alway sfidn new things to try at TJ's and very rarely am disappointed.
Thanks
I love having a Trader Joe's so close to home. It's nice to be able to walk here. I've also come here by car and the parking garage is a nightmare. They really need to do something about it.
They have great products (even organic) at great prices. And, their staff is really friendly too. I come here at least once a week to buy their pre-packaged veggies, nuts, cereal, you name it.
TJ's is alright. Their veggies/fruits aren't the best (I found a moth cocoon looking thing on my apple near the stem once) and the berries can sometimes have mold on the bottom - so be careful! Also, their oatmeal packets are disgusting - walk down the street to get oatmeal at Madison Market instead, in bulk. It's cheaper and tastier. And NOT powdery!
There are a few dairy-free/vegan frozen goodies you can buy like the tomato sauce pasta thing, frozen garlic cubes (the best!) and Tofutti Cuties.
If you're into bath products, they sell salt scrubs here - the lavender salt scrub is really cheap and actually really, really good. It kind of stings though.
Trader Joe's has great stuff at (usually) pretty good prices. It's my go-to place for beer and wine when I need quantity and reasonable quality without spending a ton of money. I also enjoy their frozen stuff and cheaper organic milk & eggs.
However, every single TJ's I've visited with a parking garage has the WORST possible parking garage possible. This location is no exception. It's terrible--not just inconvenient, but dangerous. People park on the street and take their carts out to unload groceries. Often, folks will be circling for on-street parking.
(Before anyone can get huffy about driving to the store, I usually walk to my local grocery. I drive to Trader Joe's specifically to load up on really heavy stuff that I can't realistically carry on the bus and certainly couldn't bike. Five 6packs of beer and a case of wine, for example.)
They've redesigned it at least twice, so there are faint criss-cross lines that make it difficult to tell where you're supposed to park. The spots are as tiny as zoning allows, which means that anyone with a full-size car or an SUV takes up 1+ spots.
I drive a VW Golf, but I can't squeeze in next to a sedan in this lot. The ONLY time I've ever scraped my car was in this lot.
As much as I love Trader Joe's, I go rarely and at strategic times. Every time, I swear it will be the last, or I vow to find the Burien location with a lot instead of a parking garage.
The U-District store garage is almost as bad.
