8 reviews for Track One
The food at Track One is just absolutely terrific! They serve the best Buffalo wings in El Paso, period. They are big & juicy and the sauce is just perfect, a delicate balance of spicy and tangy. They are the kind of wings that require tons of napkins and you will absolutely not mind making a sloppy mess out of yourself.
The burgers are also top-notch, big 1/2 pound with a good selection of potential toppings. I recommend ordering your burger with a side of onion rings, which are also very good, thickly breaded onion rings, the kind that don't fall apart when you bite into them.
The only problem is that this place always seems to be full, and justifiably so. The place is tiny, since it's a train car, so be prepared to wait in line for a few minutes, but trust me it's worth it!
Double Dipped chicken wings. The best. Fact.
The restaurant is a must eat in El Paso. It is made up of old train cars, two to be exact. Its very narrow and most of the tables are 4 person, so the wait for more than 4 people is easily over 30 mins. If everyone is over 21, its a good idea to see if there is seating in the bar area. The best things on that menu are the double dipped wings, which are dipped in buffalo and then in honey (these wings are the meatiest wings around), the chile con queso and fries. Although this last weekend when I was in town, my friend tried the chicken kabob, which was amazing. The bar is standard, I think they may have a few good whiskeys but on tap, the best your going to get is Hef.
I will always come back every time I land in Chuco town.
As my friends, family and coworkers know: lately I have had chicken on my mind
...no not just any chicken
...chicken wings more specifically.
Its all I want, its all I think about, I am obsessed with eating chicken wings.
And no I am not pregnant...at least I don't think so.
So when I learned I was being shipped off to El Paso for work, without even needing to speak to my work cohorts: my eating establishments were researched, tested and picked with one key focus in mind:
Are the chicken wings good?
Oh my friends, the chicken wings are not only good here at Track One, they are in fact the best chicken wings ever to be tasted by anyone from California being shipped off to El Paso, and to be clear I am a fine chicken wing connoisseur.
The service was good, however given the Southern Warm Charm I can see how some Texans find it lacking, but to me a California girl it was just right.
More importantly, the chicken wings were the best chicken wings ever to be had.
And yes friends, family and coworkers: I would return to El Paso, specifically Track One just to eat those delicious perfectly sauced, seasoned and fried chicken wings without a second thought.
I MISS YOU TRACK ONE CHICKEN WINGS!!! ESPECIALLY YOU, YOU DOUBLE DIPPED FULL ORDER OF ROMANTICAL DELIOUSNESS!
It's a nice atmosphere. It's a rail car made into a restaurant. I get a lil claustrophobic sometimes. ha ha. the wings are awesome. I usually get the double dipped .. combination of sweet & hot. Their wings are HUGE compared to everyone else.. they have pretty big servings. My friend and I usually order 10 wings, chicken nachos and some fries and we NEVER finish what we order! The wait here can get pretty long, and the only annoying part is when you have a reeeeeaaaaaalllly loud annoying party towards the back of the cart.. you hear all their noise!
HATED, hated, hated this place. The service was AWFUL the girls are soooooo mean, like they are doing you a favor by even coming to your table. Ugh I have never been so upset with the service and food anywhere. If I could give it ZERO stars I would!
Many regard this place as the best place for wings in El Paso. It's hard to deny how great these wings are. They are bigger than your average wings and are saucier. If you're like me, then you'll love the regular hot wings. If you cant take the heat they also have double dip wings which are sweet and spicy. They have a good selection of sandwiches and burgers but the they are known especially for their wings.
Restaurant converted out of a rail car. smaller menu but good, big screen TVs for sport.
Not a very good beer selection.
get the wings... they are larger than your average wings and taste far better than hooters, buffalo wild wings, or any other place! i enjoy the hot wings and double dip, but they also serve bbq wings, too. it is also interesting b/c the restaurant is comprised of old rail cars.
