Who doesn't like Toys R Us? My kids do. A variety of almost EVERYTHING. Leap Frog, Infant Toys/Learning Activities, Diapers etc. I remember back in 7th grade begging my mom for a Ouija Board cuz back then it was the most talked about thing in middle school. I thought I could ask God questions about boys? Little did i know Ouija Board is not Godly.

Anywho this store has a HUGE selection for everyone and will bring out the kid in you. When my daughter gets good grades we stop by Toys R Us to let her pick out a stink Slutty Cyrus toy.

This has to be the worste store to buy toys from. Anything they sell can be found somewhere else for cheaper, with better service and better store policies. Costco, Walmart, Amazon or even FredMeyer has much better products than ToysRus.
The staff are rude and not professional. I have three kids and I will never shop
at those stores again.

I don't wanna grow up....are you kidding me? OF COURSE I want to grow up. You get to vote, drive, drink and HAVE SEX when you grow up!

And who said I can't still watch cartoons or play with toys? WHO? YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME!

A J. family tradition usually includes my mom giving the kids a certain amount of money and letting them loose to choose their own birthday present during part of their 'weekend with grandma' gift she does every year.

That is about the only reason I come to Toys R Us. This time though, during the very brief reprieve between holidays and my kids birthdays rolling around again for the year, swung in here today for a specific gift for a friend. It's her birthday rotation and she's not near a TRU or finding it at the stores in her neck of the woods.

I have a bit of a beef with Toys R Us, I always have. It's too much commercial and not enough unique. Given that they pretty much monopolize the 'big toy conglomerate" market, they could do more to offer more unique and off the wall toys than they do. Yes, they have a selection. But still, after 8 aisles of Barbie, I was on the verge of a seizure.

I did take the time to browse around getting my own ideas for upcoming gift needs and check out the board game section. I could get lost in here if I tried, at least until the anti seizure meds i took in the Barbie aisles wore off.

Knowing what I needed and being sans ankle biters, I was able to get and get out without too much hassle. That's always good on a day of errands with the clock until school's out ticking away fast.

I don't wanna...oh wait, that's how everyone starts their review. :-)  T.R.U. is the cornerstone of any holiday season, and I'm sure behind the scenes in many kids' playtime. I know mine love the fact that they can hop on the assortment of bicycles, scooters, and electric cars (thankfully the latter isn't powered up or there'd be SERIOUS mayhem) for test drives. I can easily lose myself in there, let alone two kids running around exploring!

This store has a ridiculous amount of toys in stock, and lots on sale! I can't help but smile watching Mini-Me pick up and examine EVERY Lego/lego-type robotic toy and proclaim, "I want THIS for my next birthday, ok dad?". Or Little General stomping from aisle to aisle, test-cuddling every dolly, occassionally coming over to express her opinion on her brother's taste in robotic toys by slapping them out of his hand. Prices are reasonable in general - you're going to find some high-priced items, but you can also get some deals too. Keep it in mind as the holidays bear down on us!

I want to be a Toys R Us kid!  Well, at least a parent of someone spoiled here.

I make the trip way up here because the store is so much nicer than its Seattle rivals.  They have a wonderful selection, nice store layout, and friendly staff.

Their clothes selection is great.  And have good deals.  They have a really nice seasonal section.  Most of the items are in the stock and the staff are honest about when or if anything will be restocked.  The best part is the selection.  They have a wonderful selection of toys.  I was impressed.

A great place to splurge on your favorite parasite.

i have a billion memories here. this is where my daddy bought my first 2-wheeler bike, Nintendo games, and G.I. Joe's. the staff are always cool peoples. even when you're on the skateboards, roller blades, and bikes... and riding them all over the store, they don't flip out. awesome. =)
