I have never had a regular doctor before, I've always been going to those Asian doctors ever since I was little who seem to only be there to write the prescription so as my health needs got entirely different - I had to make the switch. That wasn't meant to be racist, I just meaning switching to a place that practices medicine in another form. I feel like sometimes the Asian doctor I had wants me to just go home rub some herbs on it, drink fluids or lather myself in hot oil and call it a day.

My sister found me the referral because she works for Stanford and Palo Alto Medical Foundation is an affiliate.

First of all, the facility is great - but I was so nerve-wracked during my first visit with Dr. Townsend. But he's a cool guy, and made me feel comfortable and is helpful on all levels. The facility in Fremont is clean and it's nice to go there and not feel the congestion of a Kaiser facility (BARF).

I'm giving it four stars because I'm sure I might experience some downfall down the line. But overall, it's been a refreshing experience so far.
