TownePlace Suites Mukilteo is a value extended-stay hotel on the Marriott spectrum of brands. This property has an inviting, relaxed feel. The grounds are top-notch, and the physical structures are well-maintained. The individual accomodations make me think of cottages or a very quiet, luxury apartment community. It's not like the Boeing engineers and contractors who stay here are a rowdy crowd.
Close to the ferry to Whidbey Island, the hotel is a perfect stopping point for a family vacation or a weekend outing. Mukilteo is a small town, but there are stores and restaurants nearby, and a Taco Bell is next to the hotel. A grocery store in a shopping center is a short drive down Mukilteo Speedway.
The service is friendly and personal, never intrusive. There is a pool, a hot tub, a laundry room, and a small gym. Although I never stayed longer than a weekend, I would be very comfortable spending a few weeks here. (Review based on more than five visits.)
