1 review for Towneplace Suites by Marriott
This location is next to the Fairfield in Fenton (as is typically the case). This location is pretty remote - you can't walk to any restaurants, rather you have to drive about 5 minutes to get to most places.
I prefer suites as opposed to straight hotel rooms (like Fairfield) because when I have a couch and a kitchen I don't feel like I'm in a hotel room. One downside is that instead of a full breakfast, your only option is to grab a cereal bar or danish on your way out the door. Marriott also doesn't usually give as many points for staying in TownePlace - I'm not sure why that is.
If you are looking for a place to work out, you should try the "Riverchase recreation center" in Fenton. It's only a few miles away and you can buy a one day pass for $7. If you want to go for a run, I would recommend running east along Rudder, then turn left and go under 44, where you'll find a trail. The trail comes is patchy (sometimes trail, sometimes road) but if you follow the signs you can get about 2.5-3 miles before the trail mysteriously disappears.
