Went to a show here last week. Was pleasantly surprised at the place. The stage was nice, seating was great, no bad seats in the place.
The bathrooms were super clean. Always a plus in my book. Just beware of the water fountain. One kind of shoots you in the face with a blast of water. Look out for that. :-)
I was shocked at the size of the parking lot. Somehow in the last 7 years of trips to the tower district, I never noticed the huge parking lot at this place. What a pleasant surprise.
The size of the venue is just perfect, not to big, not to small. -

The Tower Theater, with its signature art deco neon phallus, is the North Star for hipsters in Fresno. Whether or not you actually patronize the theater, because it does play host to a variety of venues--- it's not just a pretty face, is besides the point. Everyone references their favorite watering hole, theater, vintage shop, tattoo parlor, weed hookup, etc... by virtue of its distance from "The Tower", effectively making this towering erection on Olive the center of the known microverse for everything south of Shaw Ave.
