"Pork ribs so tender you can slurp them up with a straw." I was driving into town and saw a shacky looking barbeque place across the street from WalMart. I knew it had to be good. Everyone knows that all of the best barbeque comes from shacks after all. Let me tell you, I went all over Nashville, TN trying to find the best barbeque there, and while some of them were pretty good, I would eat the Hickory Smoked BBQ at Tower over any of them. If you are lucky enough to be anywhere in the Northwest Arkansas/Northeast Oklahoma vicinity, figure out how to make a trip here happen.
They have a comprehensive menu, but come on, if you are at a barbeque, it's all about the hickory smoked pork ribs. The service is as friendly as you would expect from this part of the country. Much more personable than anything in Nashville. Nashville is just too touristy. I am told they have great sandwiches at lunch time here too, though my trip and timing did not allow me to try it. Doh!
Tower is a darn good reason to make Siloam Springs a destination.
