I have to tell you about my experience with Andrea at Total Skin Care....
On the morning of my appointment, I had been running around like mad. As soon as I stepped into the front waiting room, I was greeted by Andrea with a soothing sense of calmness.
Andrea told me to take a few deep breaths and relax. The treatment room had soft, soothing music and a warm glow.
The actual treatment was amazing! I felt completely comfortable with Andrea and loved her soothing tone and demeanor.
Here is the best part... After the amazing facial, I went to an appointment. The first person I see said, "Emily, you are glowing!" Minutes later, his wife said "Yeah, you are glowing! What did you do?!" I told them about Andrea!
Crazy enough, the third person I see (much later) said, "Emily, something about you is different, you are glowing today."
I couldn't believe it! I can't wait for another treatment and to be complimented on my glow!
I sent my mom to Andrea and she absolutely loved it!
Besides being extremely knowledgeable about skin, the face, and skin care, Andrea is a warm and kind soul.
She has an amazing work space that really sets the stage for a beautiful, pun intended, experience!
If you want to treat yourself to an amazing facial, Andrea is the person to call!

Going to Total Skincare by Andrea will make you want to smile more, just so you can feel how cool your face feels when you move it. It'll make you feel better looking, and you will be.
I went to Andrea primarily because (I must be one of those men that thinks he has to justify getting a facial) I am an acupuncturist and I was looking for a good non-dermatologist skin professional to recommend to my patients who could benefit from careful cleansing and conditioning of the skin.
I found what I was looking for, but not before Andrea transformed my face, which, with all my facial hair, is not an easy face to transform. Walking out with glowing, smooth skin, I realized how greasy my face had been--gross!--and how stealthy Andrea is in her ability to make dermal therapy feel so good.
I am impressed with Andrea's knowledge of skin conditions like acne, dermatitis, and eczema, and I feel confident suggesting her to patients, knowing that they will be grateful to me for it.

Skincare by Andrea is a true treat. I don't get facials often, but I am a modern guy who isn't too proud to get his blackheads extracted and his skin exfoliated. She has a beautiful, calming office and delivers top notch services. Plus she let my inner princess come shining through...
I had my brows waxed today by Andrea. I was impressed by her delightful balance of professionalism and warmth. She did a masterful job with my brows-and I have a lot of them. I think they would actually take over my entire face if I let them. So, thank goodness for Andrea. Not only are they cleaned up, but she arched them in such a way that they are now accessories to eyes as earings are to ears. Im Happy! She also has a beautiful garden with a gazebo out back to lounge in after you are cared for.
This was my first facial experience and i left with the smoothest, softest, silkiest skin ever. Andrea does a great job of explaining everything and I love that her products are practically edible! Like the super antioxidant blueberry mask. She really knows a lot about all natural products and what works well for different skin types. I'd recommend her for anyone looking to maintain that healthy glow or treat chronic skin conditions.
It's a treat having Andrea around the corner from me! I'm emailing my friend right now, well almost right now, to tell her about our next spa garden facial day! Andrea's space is very comforting and tranquil ---- ahhhhh! And there's a garden in back for post-treatment chill time.

So my girlfriends bday is coming up and I was wondering what to get a girl that wants and needs everything. Then right as she was falling asleep last night she muttered "a facial would be nice". I swear she can read my mind.
Andrea came to mind right away. I have been going to Andrea on and off again for about 3 years. She's not only amazingly calming and pleasant to be around she also always remembers what I am up to.
I know that Andrea will take the time to talk to her and figure out exactly what she wants. As we know everyone expects something different.

I have been getting facials at Total Skin Care by Andrea for several years now. Try the Dermo-sound it is awesome! My face always feels so great afterward. Plus, you leave feeling totally relaxed. Andrea knows skin and she will find the best way to treat your skin. When dermatology care didn't work for me and I wanted to get off Proactiv, Andrea came through. I've visited a number of aestheticians over the years, but none like Andrea. She cares so much for her clients - how they feel and whether they're enjoying the experience. It's clear that Andrea takes her craft seriously - from the setup of her space, to the quality of the products she uses, through to her bedside manner. And her chair! It's the best (just try it, and you'll see what I mean). Most of my prior experiences with aestheticians left my face feeling ouchy, but with Andrea it felt great. I'd recommend her to anyone interested in getting quality skin care from someone who knows what she's doing.

I have tried other aestheticians before with painful results. But Andrea is very gentle and caring towards her clients. She'll explain things to you when you don't understand the procedures. I find her to be patient with her clients.
Andrea is one of the most professional skin practitioners in the city. She is awesome in every aspect. Great space, great services (with excellent results) and she is really, really nice to be around.
As an added bonus (and as another reviewer mentioned) you won't leave with hundreds of dollars in products that you don't really need.
I should go more often. In fact, I'm calling now. :)
I"m in Love. With Andrea and my skin. My skin looks so good since I been going to Andrea. Here space is relaxing and her treatments are great. I travel a lot for work but always find time to see her for my skin every 4 weeks. You should try it your skin will love it. She is better then a face lift.
The best Facials and skin care in San Francisco. Andrea is knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. I have had great results.
