This is a quaint, cute, and clean bed and breakfast inn- in a beautiful harbor town in Maine. From the inn, there are beautiful views of the harbor. On the lawn out front, you can sit on little white lawn chairs, and just watch the boats go by. There is a wrap around front porch, with plenty of cute rocking chairs to just sit and relax. I happened to come at a great time of the year, and the weather was amazing.
The room I stayed in was clean, neat, and tastefully decorated. I was a bit worried about staying in a B&B- but this one was great. The bathroom was spacious and modern. They had wonderful breakfasts- fresh fruit, a vegetarian fritatta, granola and yogurt, etc. Also, in the afternoon they made fresh chocolate chip cookies. From what I gather, the bed and breakfast inns here in Boothbay are much nicer than the hotel/motels. I usually like staying in hotels... you know, room service, movies on demand and so forth. However, this inn was perfect for a weekend in the small and adorable town of Boothbay.
