I am pretty sure I could survive on just their Masaman curry tofu and potatoes for an entire month.  I am so addicted to this entree that I order delivery at least once and as much as four times a month.  Is that sad?

Delivery is usually 45 minutes but well worth the wait.

Spring rolls are yummy.
I've also had the pineapple fried rice which is good but it doesn't hold the same spot in my heart as the tofu and potatoes.

I'm a huge fan of Thai food.  Two of my favorites in the Atlanta area being Harry and Sons and Surin of Thailand (in Highlands).  So I decided to try Top Spice.

The atmosphere was very comfortable and clean.  Our server was ok, he offered no recommendations but simply pointed to the menu.  He asked what I wanted for spice level 1-8.  I like it hot, so I said 7; however when it came it was mild at best.  We also had the Tofu, and that was undercooked and mushy.  I found that strange since some of their 'specialities' where vegetarian.  The food itself was good, but not spectacular.  Overall a nice Thai restaurant, I'd give a 3.5

A solid 3.5 stars for good Thai food at a decent price in the Ansley Park area. The ambiance is similar to the Toco Hills location, which is surprisingly classy for being in a nondescript shopping center. They offer levels of "spicyness" ranging from 1 to 10 stars. I was told anything over 5 is only for those that can take it, so of course I opted for 8. One of only a handful of times in my life that I did not add srirarcha, this was definitely 8-star spicy. My napkin was completely saturated from blowing my nose, and I went through at least 3 glasses of water... and it was GLORIOUS. I wouldn't recommend going super spicy at Top Spice on a date or business lunch, but if you're dining alone or with a friend that likes it hot, this is the place to go for it. I can see my next visit easily going up to 4 stars, but some things held it back on this first dine-in visit:

The Good:
- the squid salad was perfectly seasoned and portioned. The beige leaf-shaped dish the salad came in was a bit difficult to eat out of, though, and a little too small for the dish itself.
- the Thai veggie lunch with pork was also flavorful, hot, and a perfectly satisfying lunch portion.
- the "Thai Green Tea" (tea with ginger, lemongrass, and coconut) is incredible!!! I have a new favorite tea. This is a MUST-TRY!
- Tom Kha or veggie soup is complimentary with lunch, and the portion is generous. The Tom Kha is delicious and not as thick and creamy as Little Bangkok's (I prefer it lighter, personally).
- our main waitress was excellent: gracious, professional, and kind.

The Bad:
- I found the veggie soup pretty bland. It needed salt, spice, srirarcha... something.
- no salt at the table to solve the aforementioned issue.

The Ugly:
- We started off with a waiter that was just about as bad as it gets. He claimed to be new, but that doesn't excuse some things... he tried to take away our filled cups of tea because he thought it was soup we had finished, he didn't know the answer to anything, he was beyond awkward, and he had horrendous people skills. Top Spice is incapable of getting 4 stars from me if he's ever my server. He does refill water often, though, but as awkwardly as possible.

Top Spice continues to deliver quality food year after year. While this location is less romantic than the Toco Hills one, it does have a nice atmosphere. Its great for dates and business meetings. If you are a fan of spicy food, then you are in luck. The spiciness ranges from one to ten. However, if you are not afraid, you can order your meal at 11. The food choices are great even for vegans.

Top Spice is a good choice for Thai food in its price range.  When I want Thai, I'm lucky, because Midtown and the surrounding area has, in my experience, an overabundance of pretty good moderately-priced Thai restaurants.  None of them really stands to me out as head and shoulders above the others, but I'm satisfied after dining at any of them.  Due to its location, Top Spice is probably my standby of the group.   Also, they don't tend to be super-crowded and they are fairly casual, so it's a nice place to go on the spur of the moment.

I tend to order their noodles most often; in particular, I'll usually go for the Pad Thai or their "Penang" Char Kway Teow.  Their Buah Mango Chicken was tasty, too, and had a nice level of spice.  The one thing I wouldn't order again was their Roti Canai, because the accompanying curry sauce was pretty bland when I tried it.  Overall, though, I like most of the food and the service has always been good.

This is one of the best restaurants in Atlanta at its price point, and that's coming from someone who eats out several times a week.  The ambiance and service is good, much better than you would expect from a restaurant in a strip mall.  The basil rolls are great, the mango maylasian dishes are unique and tasty, and the basil chicken is prepared just about perfectly every time.  You will not be disappointed!

I think I need to get over the whole "nothing good comes from strip malls" mentality, because Top Spice is seriously good, and in a serious strip mall.

The lunch specials here are phenomenal. For about $7 you can get soup (either coconut or veggie) and a large portion of whatever you choose. The pad thai was a little sweeter than I've typically had, so maybe next time I'd ask them to go light on the sauce. Still, the shrimp was some of the best I've had out of this dish and I loved the overall flavor. Even my cold leftovers were really solid.

I was pleased as punch to learn that they deliver, and I suspect that Top Spice will be receiving a lot of my money in the near future. I hope they'll bring along a Dum-Dum with my order. Cream soda or mystery flavor, please!

Incredible.

I read great reviews, and I was interested.  Their website (http://www.topspiceans...) is incredibly well done and helpful, with full menus and information.  I ordered over the phone, and the person at the desk was very helpful and easily understood - he even offered an appetizer suggestion, though fortunately I made a great choice of my own.  Their driver was embarrassingly fast - my co-workers had to come find me to tell me the food had arrived, because I wasn't expecting him for at least another 10 minutes.  Overall, the service aspect was top notch.

To round out a $12 min. delivery order, I added on an order of roti canai - basically a great style of flatbread from various parts of asia and the Caribbean, along with a dipping sauce of chicken curry.  Chunks of chicken were a nice addition to a spicy curry - I was pinching off the bread to soak in the sauce entirely, because there was so much and it was so great.  The bread was a little greasy, but it could just be the style - it was chewy, still warm, and delicious.

All lunch items come with soup - I got the coconut/mushroom, and I'd recommend it (heard on another review the veg. isn't always the best).  The soup was about what I would expect, but very pleasantly spicy.  The rice that comes with all items is perfectly cooked and smelling slightly of jasmine - awesome.

The main attraction, "Beef Rendang," is out of this world.  They claim to use filet mignon (I would believe it outright, but the price was only $8.25, so...maybe?), and it sure seemed worthy of the name if it wasn't filet in fact.  Very tender, well prepared meat in a sauce that was too good to throw any away - it was soaked up with rice by the end, not a scrap for tomorrow or the garbage.  Even in a to-go order, the chefs prepared huge, beautifully carved slices of cool cucumber to put on top.  Wow.

I think I'll be ordering from Top Spice very, very often.  I can't think of a single bad thing to say, except they'll get me fat as hell if I eat there too much...

Top Spice is about 2 orders away from getting on my speed dial or being committed to memory. I've ordered from them 3 times in the last week: inclement weather, too busy to cook, and fat hedonist night.  The coconut soup is creamy, delicious, and comforting.  The spicy sweet and sour soup lives up to all its names.  The Buah mango chicken makes every thing feel all better, especially if you're rain-soaked and mud-caked.  The Massaman curry chicken is also quite good.  Their food is consistent and reliable, which I find highly desirable these days.

It is important to note -- as others have mentioned -- that the spiciness rating chart is askew here.  They use a 10 stars system, with 1 obviously being little spice and 10 being throat-bursting.  But 5 is not the halfway point. 5 is incredibly spicy.  While I can tolerate spice much more than others, I find myself consistently having to get 2 or 3 stars.  I feel like a pansy, but it's all I can handle from them until I train in the summer.

I'm a huge fan ot thai food. However, I usually stick to pad thai noodles because, well, it's quite delicious.

I'm also a huge fan ot this place. I've been here quite a few times during my undergrad career. Everything I've tasted was great. The pad thai, the spicy noodles, the chicken curry, the cashew nut chicken, the dessert!! They have green tea ice cream and sticky rice with mango  - my faves.

Although this place is in a shopping center and is not all that upscale-ish, it's got a great environment. The lighting is dim which sets the mood for a romantic date. I just love the tables here. Yeah, yeah...weird, right? But, they've got spices and lentils under a glass that's right on your table. You'll see what I mean. :)

I also like the presentation of the dishes. I love that you get quantity AND quality - that's rare. For example, the dishes are served in huge white plates of square shape. And, sometimes, they will decorate their dishes with flowers (try the chicken curry).

The service is great. I don't have any complaints there.

I didn't give it five stars because, well, in general thai food can be a bit oily or "unhealthy". However, I still love this place because the food is so damn good.

As for the prices, try to go during the lunch specials, of course. But, I think the cost is fair considering how much food they serve and how amazing it tastes.

Oh yeah, and parking is not a problem.

Oh dear...Where to begin?! I've been here twice. The first time, great Thai entree (pad see ew), TERRIBLE soup. In a group of 8, I was only one of two not to order what appeared to be rich, delicious coconut goodness. I opted for the more calorie conscious veggie soup, which ended up being clear broth with 2 rehydrated, dehydrated shrooms floating about. If you're attempting to cut the calories, by all means - ENJOY! Otherwise, steer clear.

My second visit was drastically different. Fellow yelper Reba and I were seated next to an older couple (60somethings), which always makes for interesting conversation filled with censorship and code words. More on the oldies in a bit....

As for the food, I opted for the weight loss soup once again (why, I'm still not sure), only this time, the soup was flooded with an array of mixed veggies and tofu. Perhaps someone dropped the ball during my first visit?! Not bad.

But when the entrees arrived, our request for extra mixed veggies landed us a plethora of green beans (ick) in our tofu and mixed veggies and pad see ew, and a carrot and broccoli sprinkled in for good measure. BUMMER! But this is the least offensive part of the meal: the traditionally delicious noodle dish we had both yearned for turned out to be a plate of viscous goo (disgusting). Turns out we had enough goo to fill a wine glass (don't ask how we know this), and some of the mixed veggies were hidden from sight by the layer of saucy madness.

While we were embracing our childhood fantasies of playing with our dinner, slightly embarassed by our sheer enthusiasm (and momentary lack of manners), we were quickly jolted into reality by the 60somethings.  Here we were avoiding the obvious juicy gossip regarding our many suitors,  when all of a sudden the oldies spouted:
You're place or mine?!
Wherever, doesn't matter -- it's gonna be great.
Great - let's get the check ASAP and get going.

SPEECHLESS...

They quickly departed and we burst out in laughter slash horror. Needless to say, a most memorable experience.

I teetered between my final rating for Top Spice (2 stars or 3?), but landed on a 3... Had to give props for the dumdum tree at the front -- it's certainly a classy touch.

Picked up some yummy thai food [mango tofu] the dish had lots of flavor & a little heat.

I also picked up 2 Thai Iceds Tea which exploded on the car ride home, so be careful how they pack your to-go orders!

I'm a huge fan of Thai food, though I don't venture out to Thai restaurants as much as I should. That being said I do NOT like anything terribly spicy so that eliminates a lot of Thai dishes.

My fiance had never had Thai before so we met up with some fellow Yelpers to give this place a try. The service was great! The food was excellent! We ordered red curry chicken, satay beef, coconut curry soup and sampled our friends' lettuce wraps. The lettuce wraps were a bit on the spicy side but full of flavor and the lettuce leaves were cool, crisp and very fresh. The red curry chicken was very creamy and flavorful. I loooove coconut curry soup so I HAD to order it. It had strong lemongrass and lime flavors and was spicier than expected, yet still delicious. I'd definitely go back.

On the way out of the restaurant there was a "dum-dum" lollipop tree (as opposed to a bowl of peppermints) that I completely took advantage of.

I am pretty impressed with my delivered dinner from here. I won't speak for the restaurant or the service you can receive there, but instead the delivery and my actual meal.

I ordered my two favorite Thai items that I use as my "measuring stick" from restaurant to restaurant. Meaning, if they can make those two things really well, I can be adventurous with the rest of the menu. I phoned in an order for the Pad Thai and the Pineapple Fried Rice and added an order of spring rolls to top it off. They told me my meal would be here in 40-50 minutes. Granted, I ordered it at a really peak time - 5:30, just as people are getting off work and getting home and figuring out what they want to eat for the night.

I was  surprised when the delivery guy showed up at my door 20 minutes later. He was friendly and came to my door (see, not so hard Rice Box!). When he handed me my bag it smelled delicious.

The pineapple fried rice is good, but I really like the Pad Thai. It comes with a huuuuge lump of egg on top, which is fine by me because I really like the egg in that dish. It isn't spicy at all, but now that I know that I can call and order it more spicy next time.

Thank God for good, quick delivery food.

My new favorite here is the Penang Char Kway Teow. HOLY YUM ya'll. I could seriously drink their Chicken Coconut Soup EVERY day of my life but then my cholesterol would be off the charts though because of the coconut.. pfbt!

Still super great service in-restaurant and super fast delivery to my house. I totally HEART them!!!

We order mostly delivery because of the 1-year old daughter factor but the food is just as good to-go/delivery as it is in-person. I have them on speed-dial and they "know" me pretty much when I call now. Is there a 12-step program? ;-)

A co-worker recommended this place to me, and I'm so glad she did.  The menu has a nice variety of thai and malaysian dishes and also includes vegetarian and vegan selections.

For lunch, I had the Pad See U with both chicken and shrimp -- it was so flavorful.   Also, their lunch prices are VERY reasonable my meal was under $10.

They also have a martini and beer menu which I didn't get a chance to try (since I was going back to work)  but I wil definitely go back for drinks as well.

The ambience of the restaurant is also very nice and the service is great.  Definitely try it out, great for a date night or lunch with friends.  Check out their website at: http://www.topspiceans.../

After doing some thai curry research on Yelp, my husband and I decided to give this place a try. We started with coconut soup and the beef satay, both of which were awesome. The coconut soup had great flavor - a little bit of spice, a little bit of limne-y flavor, not all sweet coconut. I had a delicious red curry with chicken, and husband had the masaman with chicken. Both had excellent flavor, and we could customize the spice level, which was perfect for us.

Went on a weeknight at about 8pm, and the place was pretty empty. It was a little disconcerting at first, but our meal was so good it didn't matter in the end. Service was great, very attentive.

Ended the meal with sticky rice with mango. Any restaurant with delicious sticky rice with mango will win over my heart. We will definitely be going back to Top Spice, and probably be getting delivery/carry out soon!

Tried for the first time tonight and loved it!  Plentiful parking in the lot out front, relaxing surroundings, nice entryway for if there is ever a wait though tonight we went early and got right in.

Started with roti canai and roti murtabak and both were outstanding, though I personally enjoyed the murtabak a bit more as it was just the right combo of sweet and spicy for me, and the roti was perfectly cooked.  Moved on to panang curry with chicken (actually ordered with tofu but it showed up with chicken, c'est la vie) and spicy basil leaves with beef, both of which were outstanding.

Finally our server was super sweet, explaining how they make the murtabak and nearly freaking out when she realized that they'd brought me chicken instead of tofu - she would have happily taken it back but I was already well into it at that point and didn't want the interruption.  All in all a solid four or maybe four and a half star experience and I'll definitely be back for takeout if not for dinner!

I definitely like Top Spice but I prefer the Taco Hill Location on N. Druid Hills.. This place was not as crowded and it seemed super empty.. alot of people carried take out.. I had the pineapple fried rice , and the beef rendang which is a Malaysian dish, it's my favorite.. and I think that is why I even come to Top Spice. Overall food and service is solid, and you always leave with leftovers..
The inside decor is similar to the druid hills location, but I think the Druid Hills is alittle more warm and inviting.. Plus it's closer to my house, making driving there alot easier.

Never actually eaten at this location, but have ordered delivery from it a number of times.  They are blazingly fast at order delivery too.  My wife and I joke that they are there so fast, that they must be on their way as we call.

My favorite dish at Top Spice is the Mango Tofu - super yummy and served in half a mango.  The tofu is deep fat fried so it is extra delicious, but a bummer for my healthy guilt complex.  I manage to get over it.  Pad See Ew is really good hear too.

Below the hustle and bustle of what is a Ru San's employee screaming, "Sake-BOMB!" is one of Atlanta's better Thai/Malaysian restaurants. I usually never stray away from the stir fry dishes, but they are all phenomenal. The vegetables are always the freshest, and properly done-cooked, but still crunchy. Service here is also A++ both friendly and attentive.

Great decor and value for a restaurant that will run you about 10-15 bucks for a dish.

Let me start by saying that I have not had a lot of Asian cuisine outside of Chinese food.  I would say my palate is pretty unsophisticated when it comes to this type of food.  I am not a big fan of curry and some of the other spices so I play it safe.  I had the brocolli mushrooms and added shrimp and chicken.  This was really good, the brocolli was cooked well and the broth was yummy. My food came out fast and was good.  The service was top notch.  They were very friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed my dining experience. When the food is good, the service is good and the decor is nice, you can't go wrong.  This is definitely a hidden gem in a strip mall.  Nice for an intimate lunch or quiet dinner.  Check it out.

I used to order take-out from this place practically every Saturday when I worked a full day at Woodruff and I was always pleased with everything.  I've tried all the curries with either shrimp or tofu and find them delicious with just the right amount of heat.  They come with a TON of the curry sauce, so I just stir-fry some of my own veggies and toss them into the extra sauce I have left over.  Yep, I'm a cheap date.

I like the Tom Kha Ghai and spring rolls for starters.  I ordered the Spicy Veggie Tofu or Shrimp about 75% of the time because I just couldn't get enought of it.  The Spicy Catfish & Fresh Ginger Chicken are other favorites of mine.  I can't report on their Pad Thai or any of the other noodle dishes because generally I'm not fond of them.

Top Spice gets my top mark.

I recently went to Top Spice, and enjoyed the food as well as the ambience there. We walked in, and it was very dim lit (even though it was the middle of the day), but it was still pleasant and gave off a real nice vibe.

The service was good, as the waiter kept checking on us frequently to make sure we were okay.

I ordered Pad Thai, which was good, but was hard to swallow (literally). That is probably my fault, as I am usually one for spicy food. So when the waiter told us that our "spice range" was from 1-10 we (both me and my friend) assumed right in the middle would be good, so we chose 5. Boy was that a mistake....that Pad Thai tasted like they poured PURE chili on it. It was incredibly hot. We ended up not finishing it, because it was just too spicy to be enjoyable. I wish the waiter had better explained that "medium" was not a number 5, but I can't even imagine how #10 tastes....that'd probably blow you through the roof!!!  LoL!

Anyways, overall it was a nice dining experience, the lack of a star is due to the food on this particular day.

My god, who decorated this place, & how much did they pay him/her? I just sit & stare around, thinking, "how can I make my condo look like this?"

Oh, & they have food. Good food. DE-licious. They're very willing to make accomodations. Their massaman tofu & pad thai tofu are the only dishes I ever have. That's how good they are. I just can't branch out.

The service makes you feel like you're someone important - they are SO polite. They disappear & give you privacy, & just when you think, "I could use a little more water," BAM. It's like magic.

This is a great date restaurant. It's quiet & most tables are private. They also have a full bar. And if your date happens to be same sex, don't be afraid to hold hands. No one cares.

To be honest, I had sort of been putting off trying this place because I didn't expect it to be very good.  Maybe it was the conspicuous absence of Pad Kee Mao on the menu, maybe it was the porno-esque name.  (Top Spice 14:  Barely Legal and Smokin' HOTTTTT).  I mean Piedmont does have it's share of strip clubs...  Either way, Saturday I took the plunge.
Upon arrival, the first thing I saw was the manager/owner (whichever) chatting it up with the patrons at one of outside tables.  That bodes very well; I really love and appreciate when owners/managers take the time to build rapport with their customers.  Good move.
The interior of Top Spice is adorably decorated in the fashion that most Thai restaurants seem to be adorned.  Complete with little spice boxes inset into the table.  This had me confident that this would be a better experience than the aforementioned porno-esque name would suggest.
Now on to the good stuff!  Awesome martini list.  They have one of those pre-made-by-the-company cheap flavored rum "martini" lists on the table, but don't worry, that is not the martini list of which I speak.  The *real* martinis are kept hidden within the drink menu.  I ended up ordering the lychee rose martini and it was strong, but delicious.  Even came with a lychee at the bottom!
As for the food, I went with the Prik Khing chicken and Kyle got the Spicy Basil Leaves with beef.  I warned him to order off the "Chef Special" menu because those dishes are always better, but he didn't listen.  And I'm SO glad he didn't.  Both dishes were fantastic!   The beef was so tender it practically melted in my mouth and the sauce was the perfect combination of sweet and spicy.  The Prik Khing also had great flavor and was delightfully spicy.
Speaking of spicy...  You will be asked to rate how spicy you would like your food on a scale of 1 to 10 upon ordering.  Um, great idea??!  Why doesn't every Thai place do this??  Be warned though; you do NOT want to order a "5" expecting a "moderate" amount of spice.  We weren't sure what to expect so we got both dishes at a "3."  I eat spicy food a lot and let's just say I would probably get a "4" next time, but no higher.  "10" must mean "hospital."
So basically, I was very pleasantly surprised by the drinks, the food, and the lack of pornography and now I can't wait to go back!  Saw some good looking lunch specials too!

I have never actually stepped foot inside Top Spice, but I have been getting delivery from their Ansley Park location for years.  They keep your info in their system and usually deliver in about 30 minutes.

I love their duck curry, coconut chicken soup, nam sod, and nur nam tok.  I just tried their cashew chicken last night-- good, but no duck curry.  My only complaint is that the duck curry is not consistent-- usually it is wonderful, but sometimes the curry is watery or the duck is tough/overcooked. I guess it just depends on who is in the kitchen that night...

The ambiance is amazing. Very different. There are spices and whatnot all over the place.... even in the table decor. The service is great every time I go. I am never disappointed with a meal there. Try the papaya salad, it's spicy and kind of sour. Very popular! I love the massaman curry with extra avocado. YUM.

This place has a cool atmosphere and their presentation is awesome. I think this is a place to go if you are going on a first date...want to impress someone. As far as the food, eehh...I've had better Thai food. Thai food is one of my favorites, and I don't think that they have authentic Thai food which is what I am all about.

So as I found out recently, all my friends and pretty much every Asian who attends Emory are a huge fan of Top Spice.  They were literally crazy about this place!  Upon hearing this, I could not believe I have never dined here - and of course, I absolutely had to try this place!  Before going, I checked the menu online, and it sounded so unique and cool and talk about variety too!

The interior decor is nice- quite authentic, but not an once-in-a-lifetime scene.  But the service, is a out of this world!  Talk about the fast service they offer!  As soon as we got seated, 'oop- here comes water' then 'oh, thank you for the menu,' then 'okay, I'm going to have this, this, and that.' and without a moment to catch my breath, here comes the appetizers!  Fantastic, isn't it?  I ordered Tom Kha Ghai,  Masaman Curry Chicken, Pad Thai, and Pineapple Fried Rice.  (And no, I did not eat all that by myself for those of you who were wondering..)  They were all delicious, but there were all somewhat Americanized.  All plates come with big spoon, meant for sharing.  Overall, I would recommend this place to those of you who like Thaicoon & Sushi restaurant.

I'm always a little suspicious of restaurants that claim to specialize in multiple cooking regions.  My experience with those places is that the food tends to be mediocre all around due to the chef spreading him/herself too thin.  Top Spice was like that.  The restaurant's menu is divided into Thai and Malaysian dishes which aren't vastly different.  I mean, the countries are only separated by a relatively small body of water and I think they even border each other somewhere (this is digging really deep into my 7th grade Geography class memories), so it's not like the menu would contain polar opposites like lutefisk and, say, curried goat.
Anyway, my companions and I started dinner with an order of Roti Murtabak which would best be described as a flaky empanada stuffed with ground beef spiced with what suspiciously tasted like McCormick taco seasoning.  It was pretty good, though.  I had the Tom Kha Gai (nothing to write home about) and the Beef Rendang.  It was my first time eating Rendang and I feel really neutral about it.  It wasn't a flavor sensation but it also wasn't horribly dull either.  It was, like... eh.  As it was primarily meat and I was coming off of a primarily vegetarian diet, it sank like a stone to the bottom of my stomach where it caused gastric distress for a few hours.  Companion #1 had the Duck Curry.  The curry sauce itself was so good that I gave serious thought in stabbing Companion #1 with my fork and stealing her food.  The duck was... eh.  Actually, the only thing I didn't like about the duck was the texture.  When duck stews in sauce, the skin becomes rubbery and kind of gross.  Companion #2 had the Buah Mango Chicken which was loaded with mango slices and was a tad too spicy for me.  #2 and I both had the Sticky Rice with Mango (we each had our own because we're greedy like that).  The mango was under ripe and the rice was bland because it was served with a little cup of sweetened coconut cream that you poured on top of everything.  Eh.
The restaurant's atmosphere was nice.  It looked more expensive than what it actually was.  The service was a little absent.  #1 thought one of the waiters was hot so #2 gleefully told the waiter causing great embarrassment all around.  And this is why I prefer to eat alone.

Love it! Went there to celebrate a friends' birthday recently and we had a fun time. They have some good food here. I like the ambience, its quiet and good for conversations. We had some amazing fish and chicken that night so I give the place a thumbs up for sure.

Top Spice, probably my favorite spot in Atlanta...The service is incredible!  The food, you can't even put into words.  I have never had a bad dish there, and I have been there many many times.  I crave their Spicy Veggie with Tofu...mmmmmm!  Cocktails are incredible, and the interior is quite charming.

for some reason, atlanta has a preponderance of thai restaurants.  top spice stands out as one of the best for everyday casual dining.  the combination of thai and malaysian cuisine creates a menu that is both flavoricious and unique.  they use an open cooking method that adds richness to the food.  i strongly recommend the fried rice or panang curry.

they are vegetarian and vegan friendly.  many dishes come sans animal products and with tofu options.  the service is what every neighborhood eatery should be.  staff are always genuinely cheerful and if you come more than once, they will remember you.  there are very few places i could eat multiple times in a week.......this is one.

Went to Top Spice with the wife on a quiet sunday evening; the place only had a few other diners.  The order consisted of Roti Canai, Hot and Sour shrimp soup, a Malay curry dish and pad thai.  The roti was decent, although the sauce had some flavoring in it that was different than others I've had... something a little smokier perhaps?  The soup was decent, but nothing to brag about.  The curry consisted of mostly chicken and potatoes, and it was decent but could have used a little more kick or something to make the flavors stand out a little bit more... probably should've ordered a Thai curry instead.  The pad thai was also ok, but nothing special.  Based on this experience, we weren't overly impressed, but I'd be willing to give them another try.  One plus was that I did like the decor; the giant wall of spice jars is a nice touch.

Great food and great service.  I ordered a Thai dish, Spicy Basil leaves with beef.  I'm sure all the stir fry type dishes are all great.  My boyfriend ordered a Malaysian dish that combined salmon and curry.  I'm not a big fan of curry, but it was so good.  The okra and eggplant in his dinner were great.  They also deliver, but the restaurant decor was so cute!  Spices underneath the tables and dim lighting drew us in.  We originally intended on going to Ru San's upstairs, but they were playing really loud techno music that night?  Normally we like Ru San's, but we weren't in the mood to yell over the music.  Top Spice was a great surprise.

The food is good (maybe overpriced just a tad) but, it is just a little oily.  The locaton is wonderfully convenient and their menu has a good number of choices.  The staff is very polite.  I think the oilyness of the food is less noticeable if you dine in rather than carry out.  So take a night off and dine out!

Love the fact that you can ask for less or more spicyness with one to six stars! Are they on the yelp scale too???  I've heard this is the best Thai / Malaysian food in town, and I'll have to agree. I've tried the flatbread, the soups, spring rolls, and many dishes from the basic pad thai to curry chicken to rendang.  Good stuff!!!
