Rude, rude, rude! I went into this small Bleecker Street store on my second day in NY... it was a hot and humid day so I was wearing a tank (beautiful tattoos exposed) and my hair was up in a headband/ponytail do. There were two dudes working in the store and one customer trying on shoes... when I walked in neither "dude" spoke to me. I didn't trip, thought whatever, I don't see anything I really like and left. A couple of days later, I walked by and looked at the window display and saw a pair of cute ankle boots... I went in to see if they had my size. I was greeted rather nonchalantly by one of the same dudes that was there on my first trip in. I asked for my size and he brought them to me. (Oh, I forgot, my hair was coiffed and my tats were covered up???) I tried them on and walked around a bit. He asked me if I wanted them and I told him "No, they're not comfortable". He looked at me like I was an idiot and said "really, you're the first person to say that". Okay, so, and? Ask me if I GAF!
Meanwhile, I was watching the other peeps in the store, the tall blonde was walking around in a pair of 4+ inch heels trying to decide if she wanted them. The guy that was helping her was such a dick, bad attitude, rude way of speaking, the whole 9. It is unbelieveable in this economy that salespeople like these two still have jobs.
Pushy and rude, especially the owner. Don't even bother coming in!
