Tony's Pizza Spot
2 reviews for Tony's Pizza Spot
You should be cool to Tony. It's not easy for him.
It's not easy to run a pizza shop right across the street from Lafayette Gardens. Poor ol' Tony is constantly taking abuse, breaking up fights, and getting robbed. Tony also owns the building the shop is in and you know what? His tenants never pay their goddamn rent. How do I know? Tony talks about it every five seconds. He's always like "if I could just get five minutes alone with those peice-of-shit bastards..."
As far as the pizza, it's fine. If you're walking to Franklin Ave from the G train it's right on the way. Of course, everyone knows if you want pizza in the neighborhood you've gotta go to Gianni's on Myrtle. They're the best.
But take it easy on Tony. It's not easy for him.
Tony's is the best. Not only is the pizza delicious, but Tony is one of the coolest guys I know.
The winter months make me sad as his front window is down so I, and the billion other passerby, can't yell "Yo tony!" and nod as we go about our way.
As for the pizza?
2.25 a slice, and only 13 a pie.
The crust is a tiny bit thicker and the cheese not quite as greasy a traditional brooklyn pie.
The cheese he uses is sooooo good.
As for Andy over here, Giannas SUCKS.
And though Tony is friendly and personable, I've never heard him call anyone a piece of bastard. But hey!
