A friend told us about Tom's Outdoor Furniture and recommended it for high quality products. We went up there during their half-price sale at the end of November. We were surprised at the substantial construction of the furniture, high quality of the construction, and variety of variations of different styles. We tried on benches and chairs and finally settled on one model of bench to purchase. We preferred to try the furnishings without the cushions also available, to get the most comfortable for us.
We looked outside and found additional discounts on a limited number of other items, several of which we also liked. We put a table and chair aside to add to the collection. Finally, we called our daughter to see if they were interested in some items at these attractive prices. The list grew by four folding chairs, two with optional arms, to go with the table.
We enjoyed the friendly, supportive, low-pressure staff who helped us make our best choices. They were very informative. Tom, the President/Owner was also there, and he helped provide information as we shopped. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, drove away with some of our purchases, and came back the next day to pick up the rest.
Comparing the items we took home with the ancient pieces they replaced, we were again impressed with the quality of the work they do at that location and felt we'd made really good choices. Highly recommended. -

Tom's has some very nice teak furniture, but even the Labor Day weekend sale prices were pretty high. Perhaps teak furniture is just too expensive for us. However, we did find two very nice pots on sale for $10 each (they covered the sales tax because we paid in cash), so it was worth the trip.

I can recommend Tom's Teak for an over whelming selection of fine outdoor teak furniture, excellent customer service and the best prices.
My outdoor dining table and chairs is out year round and looks as good as it did three years ago. I love teak and the low maintenance.
The atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. -

The staff at Tom's is helpful, patient and knows their stuff! It's not cheap, but the pieces are well-crafted and the inventory well stocked. We purchased an Adirondack chair from the place off Hwy 92 a few years ago, and the quality does not compare with the merchandise at Tom's.

We bought quite a bit of furniture last year and just added a few more pieces this year.
Everyone we have dealt with here has been fantastic. Very helpful and not pushy or overly salesperson like if that makes sense. Just welcoming and friendly. Our son has been with us in the store a few times and there are some toys that he was able to play with and occupy him. He made fast friends with the ladies there.
The furniture is beautiful. We did choose to oil ours and will have to repeat the oiling each year. It actually isn't too bad of a chore and the furniture looks great. After looking around at other stores and seeing what was available, teak just looked like the best solution for us.
If you opt for cushions, they do really hold up staying outside, but bring them in once the season is over as the animals might decide to see if there is any good nesting material inside them and take a few nibbles. So that mistake cost me this year, but it was my own fault. -

their prices were high and the sales woman Marla was rude.
I found the same exact styles at Teak in the Garden off route 92 in Half Moon Bay for half the price, and the owner were super nice and helpful. The quality of their teak furniture was of equal quality and I'm quite happy with my purchase. The place in HMB is only opened on weekends, just near Pastorino's Nursery. High quality teak furniture. I bought an outdoor bench and matching table there about 1.5 years ago. They are holding up nicely. Very little maintenance... just spray them clean with water every now and then. Wait until December and make your purchase when it is on sale. Unless you are desperate it makes no sense to pay the high prices during the rest of the year.

Kinda geeky reviewing patio furniture, but summer's coming and maybe you want to splurge, er, *invest* in something nice. I always like a "mom & pop" store where they're completely into what they do. Their teak is plantation-grown. Just leave it out and it'll get that nice silvery look.

We bought teak patio table, chairs and benches and were very satisfied with the assistance from the sales lady (and the competitive price too). Once home after setting up the furniture we realized that (oops) we should have bought the smaller bench size. We went back to the store and no fuss no question asked, our benches were quickly exchanged and the price difference credited back to the credit card. Overall a very simple, straightforward and enjoyable purchasing experience.
