They make their own bread. The Italian Sub, is incredible. I order it Hugo style, which is everything. I LOVE IT. I could eat here three times a week, and never get sick of it! The pizza is fantastic, and the guys put all their heart and soul into this little Italian Kitchen in Romeo.

Takeout pizza joint near 31 mile and Vandyke. OK pizza - not too saucy and a good variety of toppings - they offer more than what's on the menu, for instance, we got spinach and green olives and neither one was on the menu, so ask if you don't see something. We just had pizza but they also have a pretty good-sized menu of pasta, subs, calzone, side orders, soup, salads; plus, a big catering menu. Also cannoli are on the menu. Woo hoo! We did not try them, and I'm not sure why we didn't. Momentary lapse, I guess! A few of us thought the crust was kinda chewy, and that they didn't spread the toppings close enough to the edges. Those were the only complaints. Maybe a 3 1/2 star couple of pizzas for us, but they get rounded up for being a non-chain shop and for the good variety of toppings and diverse menu.

After months of chain pizza places, I took the hour-long trip back to Romeo. I used to eat at Tomato & Basil at lunch before I got laid off. Hope my lay off didn't hurt their business! Haha!
This makes Jets taste like it came out of a freezer. I'm partial to the kind of pizza that looks homemade, though. I'd prefer a party store pizza to Dominos any day. Go in there at lunchtime and get a couple different slices to try a variety, especially the Bianca. -
