I am an Asian cuisine junkie and this place hit the spot!  It's affordable, high quality, delicious food with healthier options and I like it a lot!  Definitely check this place out if you're in the Slope, it rocks!  Enjoy!

I love the idea of making Chinese food vegetarian friendly and healthy, but I find the results here pretty bland.  Does the same thing Red Hot does, but Red Hot does it much better.

I've only ordered take-out from here, and have always been happy with the food. General Tso's Chicken is great, and I love that they have brown rice

Some of my favorite Chinese food in the Slope comes from Tofu on 7th. I used to have a crush on Red Hot, but I switched to Tofu a couple of months back and I've been pretty happy ever since. I like the chicken and corn soup - huge, shareable portion for only a few dollars. And I know that it's not very authentic, but I always have an egg roll. I LOVE egg rolls. The chicken and eggplant is good as is the sesame chicken, beef and broccoli and the moo shu pork. I've never actually dined in at Tofu, only had delivery. For atmosphere, I do think that Red Hot is a more attractive option.

This place is great. We have tried six or seven different Chinese restaurants in the South Slope, and Tofu has the highest quality food and is consistently good. I'm not a vegetarian, but their vegetarian stuff is good enough for a carnivore to enjoy. The sesame chicken is amazing, and the steamed chicken dumplings seem almost healthy compared to dumplings at other places (but they still taste great). They deliver all over Park Slope and even into Windsor Terrace. Give them a try.

Tofu's delivery menu, which is extensive and exciting, has no less than 3, THREE, pages of vegetarian options. Things like vegetarian Sesame Chicken, which is made from tofu, soy beans, wheat gluten, beans, mushrooms, yams and more veggies. DELICIOUS. I would say that I eat at Tofu once a week, (if not more) and every meal is delicious. 5 out of 5, healthy, fast, and wonderful.

my friend and i were quite starved after a class we took, and decided to wander around on seventh for some good eats.  good cheap eats.

enter tofu on seventh.
um....seriously??? a lunch special that includes a crapload of food and it's under five bucks?  no, you're kidding, right?
nope.   no kidding.
for what i think was 4.75 (it might have been 4.25 but i can't remember) we were handed huge helpings of our main entree (mmm chicken and vegetables...), soup, wonton noodles and duck sauce, and rice- and the rice could be brown, white, or vegetable rice.
i mean, that's a lot of freakum food.
and so cheap.
and tasty.
a cheap tasty treat.
so's your mom...ooh, burn.
well, bring your mom.  for 4.75 a pop, your tastebuds will thank you and your mom will too.
