We only went here because I had a Restaurant certificate. I love Fells Point but never really considered coming here before because the location is a little grimy (corner of Fleet and Broadway) and the outside tables face rush hour traffic.

We sat down and Daniel was quick to get us an order of beers - which surprisingly, they had a very large selection of weather-appropriate beer both on tap and in bottles. Yah! 1 point Todd Conners. Then Daniel proceeds to help us maximize our certificate by pointing out some of the unique menu items and helps us decide between options, giving very insightful tips that helped us settle on the:

    1. Fried green beans with chipotle aoili sauce
    2. BBQ burger
    3. Crab cake sandwich

I normally avoid crab cake sandwiches because they can be such duds if you don't know the place but Daniel recommended it (saying it was top 3 in Baltimore). I was suspect but he was so dead on with regards to the yumminess of the green beans, we decided to give it a go.

WOW. crab cake sandwich is indeed to die for - remember that I'm a lifelong Baltimoron and crab cakes are like a religion to me- and they definitely passed the test - good crab. It was served on a foccacia style roll, which I was unsure on at first, but it worked really well. Got the $0.99 upgrade to the mashed potatoes - worth it. Slightly chunky and very garlic-y.

The burger was amazing as well - VERY juicy and not over cooked in the slightest- ordered medium, got medium. I love a place that can cook a good burger as ordered - oddly that is rare around Baltimore. The meat was fantastic - like I said, very juicy and just a good ground patty. I thought it was a little high at over $10 (we got the $0.99 upgrade to the fries- also well worth it) but once I ate THE ENTIRE BURGER, I decided that the price was right- I'd gladly pay that again for such a good burger.

They have a $5 blue plate special - looks enticing, so maybe I'll get that next time we go.

I wasn't even all that hungry when we went, but it was soooo good that we both ate everything.

And again, Daniel, our server was great, very social and fun to talk to. He even brought out a water bowl for our dog Madison which is a total bonus point in our books.

I will definitely be back to this gem of a restaurant, I feel bad I never gave it a shot before.

Went to Todd Connors Sat night with a group after all other bars were jam packed. Nice little bar with good drinks, decent beer selection and good service. Went back next day for dinner. Had the avocado salad for like $7 and I would have never guessed it was an avocado salad if they just served it to me. The chicken sandwhich on other hand was very good and the homemade chips were nice. My wife had a burger and she enjoyed it. We sat in the back room away from the bar with our 8 month old and it was great. They had several TVs set up to watch the game.

So I would definitely recommend this bar/restaurant and be sure to check out http://restaurant.com for discount certificates.  Enjoy!!!

I was pretty hungover when we had brunch at Todd Conner's, (no) thanks to Aine and Jamie. (I'm trying to see how many times I can name drop them in my reviews. Stop hatin'.) I needed grease, I needed a Bloody Mary and according to the internets, TC's had both. What I didn't realize, was I also needed a Penn State jersey.

Well, I guess it wasn't an absolute requirement... but it would have helped us stick out a little bit less. This place is obviously a gathering point for the only people who don't think JoPa should retire and they WILL stare at you when you walk through the front door. They don't take long to turn back to their food/drinks, but it can catch you off guard if you're not prepared for it.

To satisfy my need for grease, I ordered the biscuit and gravy scramble - large. You always think you're going to eat more than you have any hope to when you're hungover and this was a classic example of that. I took one look as the massive pile of home fries, biscuits, gravy, scrambled egg and cheese (see pic) in front of me and nearly hurled on the spot. There wasn't anything wrong... it looked fabulously delicious.. that was just when I realized maybe I didn't really want grease after all. I managed to push through about a quarter of the thing before I called it quits and tapped out. Had I not been in such a sorry state, I probably would have polished most of it off and then built a memorial in its honor.

Then there were the Bloody Marys. I don't know if it was the hangover or what, but that was one of the better Bloodies I've had. Ever. Perhaps the significant level of spice and Old Bay rimming the glass has something to do with it. Now that I think about it, that probably had everything to do with it. Well, that and vodka. Delicious, delicious vodka. I just wished I could have stomached more than one.

The best news? I kept it all down on a water taxi to the Inner Harbor. Huzzah!

We had a $25 http://Restaurant.com coupon for Todd Connor's so we decided to give them a try. We expected it to be your typical Fells Point bar complete with average beer list, average service and average food. Our expectations were met on nearly all accounts.

We walked in around 5:30 on a Memorial Day Monday and there were a few couples at the bar. We were greeted by the bartender and told that the entire back area was reserved for a private party but we were welcome to sit anywhere in the bar. Lucky for us there were a few empty high-top tables by the windows. The bartender turned server came out from behind the bar and handed us a few menus. She was friendly enough, but here comes gripe number one. Don't ask me what I want to drink while you're handing me the menu.  Either tell me what you have available or give me a beer/drinks menu and a few minutes while you run off to get some waters. It's a tad annoying how many servers in this city seem to think that you've got their drink menus memorized. We were never given drink menus. I suggest you take a quick look at the 6 or so taps as you're walking in to prepare yourself for the inevitable.

The beer list at Todd Connor's is pretty average. The selection wasn't that great but to their credit there were some craft beers on tap including Troegs Dream Weaver and, of course, Dogfish Head's 60 Minute IPA. I looked around to see what everyone else was drinking - Coors Light, Miller Light, Natty Boh - and it was no surprise they didn't stock good beer. I went with the 60 Minute and my wife asked the bartender to mix her up something "fruity and refreshing". The beer was cold and my wife enjoyed her drink.

We sat there looking through the menu for about 10 minutes before setting them down on the table and waiting for our server to come take our order. We watched as a guy from behind the bar came up to us, mumbled something like "Let me get these out of your way" and before we could respond he walked away. WTF? And where was our other server? Oh yeah, she was now 100% dedicated to serving the private party going on in the back of the bar. Something wedding-related I think. We wouldn't see her again. Anyway, there was now someone else manning the front of the bar and he apparently needed our menus for someone else. By this time the crowd at the bar had ballooned to 6 people. Maybe they only had four menus.

We busied ourselves with a stack of Friends Trivia cards (which made me happy that I didn't really know that much about Friends) and once we tired of waiting I went up to the bar and ordered. I opted for the Swiss Burger and chips and my wife went with the grilled Gruyere and bacon sandwich with pasta salad. I forgot to mention, there's a stack of games in the corner by one of the front windows. Not a bad idea. What was a bad idea was storing the games under the ductwork leading out of the kitchen. Hot ducts plus humid air equals condensation. As a result most of the games looked like they'd been stored in a rain forest for a few months.

The food was actually pretty good. My burger was well-seasoned and cooked as-ordered, which I have come to realize is a feat unto itself when it comes to burgers in Baltimore. It was layered in melty Swiss cheese and mushrooms and just greasy enough to remind you of why you love burgers. Not the best I've ever had; it reminded me of something I'd get at a backyard BBQ, in a good way. The chips were nothing special, just your basic kettle chips, probably out of a bag.

My wife's grilled Gruyere sandwich with was very tasty. Grilled sourdough, loads of Gruyere cheese, bacon, Granny Smith apples and a touch of honey. The pasta salad was dry and the pasta was just this side of total grainy mush. Not good. Finally, lest I forget, my wife had the misfortune of being at the receiving end of one of the saddest excuses for a Long Island Iced Tea I've ever tasted. Throwing together some well liquor into a glass with a bunch of ice and a splash of Coke doesn't a Long Island make. It was worse than the swill I remember drinking back in college, completely undrinkable. My wife rarely drinks so I felt bad that this was the experience that ended the meal for her.

Overall I'd have to say that Todd Connor's is your typical Fells Point bar. It's got it all, the young clientele, truncated beer list, and the typically average service. The one saving grace for Todd Connor's is that the ambitious menu appears to have some talent behind it. Both dishes we had, while not without their faults, were good and left our bellies full. What made the trip even better? How about getting out the door for $20, including tip.  We probably wouldn't have gone to Todd Connors without the coupon and I can't think of a reason that would bring us back, but I'm happy to add it to my growing list of Baltimore's one-visit wonders. Places like Todd Connor's make me miss the class and tight service of Federal Hill's Rowhouse and Porter's.

Todd Connor's, I really really wanted to love you.  Sadly, you fell short...

My bf and I came here for brunch and we were set on trying their famous sausage gravy and biscuits, but our server let us know they were out of it.  Ummmm, there were still 2 more hours left of brunch.  How could you be out of your signature dish? I do not comprehend.

I settled on the bacon french toast.  It was good for a few bites, but way too sweet for an entire meal.  The bf had the steak and egg sandwich which was average at best.

The best thing about this brunch was my huge mimosa for only $3.00.

We tried this place for brunch yesterday and waited over an hour to get our food.  When it arrived, it was extremely disappointing.  My husband got biscuits and gravy and said that the only tasty part was the gravy.  I got an overpriced grilled gruyere sandwich and was only able to pick at parts of it.  I've never been so disappointed at a meal, especially after waiting so long.

The bloody maries were so spicey that it tore up our insides for the rest of the day.  It was clever to use Old Bay around the rim, but I couldn't taste any of it because I was basically drinking a glass of tobasco.

Normally I would give a place like this a second try since the outdoor seating is nice and the server comped our drinks due to the wait.  However, long wait + terrible food + overpriced + made me ill = never eating here again.

Edit: The owner sent a very courteous note in response to this review explaining the kitchen situation and how it was addressed.  She clearly cares about this restaurant and is working to improve it, so even though we won't be back I probably wouldn't stop someone else from trying it.

Had breakfast here over the weekend. The sign outside said "service with a smile" and it was right! We were greeted kindly with warm
Welcomes and made to feel comfortable which is not always the case with fells point neighborhood bars.
They had $3 bloody marys, mimosas and screw drivers.
Good selection of breakfast items, the crab Benedict was awesome no complaints. The breakfast burrito however lacked in flavor and they had no salsa, we wouldn't order that again but would love to check out there other items!! If you're in the neighborhood, check it out!

I think Todd Connor's is going to make my butt double in size. Because I finally had the deep-fried french toast PB&J for the first time yesterday, and I can't stop thinking about it. We split it for dessert- Good call!! I'm also thinking it would be good for breakfast, just like a jelly donut. Mmmm...

Some of our other food here has been hit or miss. But one of my favorite phrases in the English language is "half-price wine night," which they do TWICE a week! We've had the same fabulous bartender every time, and anyplace that has Sponge Bob Connect Four ranks high on my list.

When Fells is too shitshowwy to handle, but your car is blocked in by random drunkies and/or drunkies who are/were your friends, head to Todd Connor's.  Even on the weekends, and even when busy, it never exacerbates the headache you probably already have, and somehow manages to retain a high level of class in the midst of the debacle we call A Weekend Night In Fells.

The service is outstanding.  I've only ever sat at the bar so I can't comment on table service, but every time I go there I really love the bartenders.  They are chatty but not intrusive, interesting, funny and extremely accommodating -- you can tell they truly want you to have a good time.

I like the variety of cocktails and wine.  Beer selection isn't bad for the area but a few more interesting bottles wouldn't hurt.

Food's very good for a bar too.  I wasn't a fan of the edamame (it was drenched in super-sweet teriyaki; I say leave well enough alone by throwing some sea salt on those suckers and calling it a day, but that's just me).  However, I'd been there before and had a sandwich that qualified as above-average bar food.

I like that Todd Connor's is still in the middle of the action in Fells, but way less douchey, while still retaining value for your money.  As a smoker I also appreciate the tables/chairs outside and the liquor license allowing you to bring your drink with you.

Note, I don't mean to hate on Fells so much; I really do like it down there, but come on.  It's kind of ridiculous on the weekends.  That is all.

The staff is great and always very friendly. Prices are reasonable and the food is much better than typical bar fare.

They make their own potato chips which taste amazing -- so skip the fries!

As a bar, it's pretty average.  But as far as the food is concerned, it's definitely a step up from your average Fells food options, which is saying something, as Fells has a plethora of decent dining options.

Definitely get some of the homemade potato chips.  They're cooked in-house, fresh to order, in peanut oil.  Delicious.

This is a great place for brunch!  The first time I found this place, it was by accident.  I put our names in at the Blue Moon Cafe and were faced with a two hour wait.  Hungry and thirsty, I walked around the corner and found this gem.  While not in Baltimore a lot, I always stop here for brunch.

This past weekend my fiance and I had the crab omelet and the bacon infused french toast.  Both were excellent!  Also, the staff was great!

Next time we are going to make sure to take advantage of the $3 bloody mary's.

Bottom line: Great place for a great brunch.

Maybe that slight propensity toward dyslexia has finally caught up with me but, until recently, I thought the bar located on the corner of Broadway and Aliceanna aptly utilized a feature of its location in the title. Alas, Todd Connor's (not Todd's Corner!) inspired curiosity in me primarily by its advertisement as (partly) a wine bar. "Huh, it's about time", I thought to myself, as I excitedly attended its weekly trivia night one Sunday. To my great disappointment, they misadvertised: both the quality and variety of wine were subpar.

On another occasion, we tried some food, which was alright for bar fare but nothing special; the weekend mimosas were temptingly priced but overloaded with ice. Tsk, at least they could have had what is arguably a cooler name!

Meandering through Fells Point we were drawn in by the sandwich board boasting brunch and $3 mimosas. We had an AMAZING meal (the Chesapeake Benedict had more lump crabmeat than an average crabcake).

They also offer bloody marys, mimosas and screwdrivers by the pitcher for only $12 (we got six big pours our of each pitcher). And if u make a reservation (at least 24 hrs in advance) they'll give u a free pitcher!

Great friendly staff. Outdoor seating. Amazing food and cheap drinks. A perfect place to start your Saturday and Sunday.

My friend says this place has one of the best crab cakes in Baltimore. Unfortunately I had already eaten so I was not hungry but I was glad we stopped in for some drinks.

Happy hour was ending so the bartender rang me in for two happy hour drinks so I wouldn't have to pay full price in 10 minutes. He was very funny, friendly, and chatted with us off and on through out our time there. He asked our opinion when he wanted to turn on Jeopardy also which I thought was funny. And at the end of the night our tab was mysteriously small but I'm not going to complain.

They have games to play if the company you are with is boring and you need something else to do.

You can take your drinks outside and there's a table and chair for smokers. And even though it's in the middle of Fell's it wasn't  busy at all.
I'm pretty sure they have $2 Boh's all the time which makes me happy.

Definitely going back when hungry to try some food.

Whenever I come to Baltimore I beg my brother to go here. I don't know what it is about this bar. I just love it. The servers/bartenders are awesome and down to earth. It is just like a walk in, take off your shoes type of place (but keep your shoes on) and the people that go there are nice. All the customers are really friendly too. It is just a fun place to be. Although I've never eaten there, the food always smells SOOOOO wonderful. I just mainly go there for the $2 Boh's!! YAH!

Todd Connors was a really great choice for me and my fiancé on a Saturday night. We were hangin out in Fells Point and went there because we had a http://restaurant.com gift certificate. Best idea of the weekend. There were some fun games like apples to apples (alas just the two of us disqualified us for that gem) and chutes and ladders, cranium, etc. We chose to sit in the nearly abandoned dining area vs the bar. It was great . We could hear the bar music but didn't have to scream at eachother to talk. Our waitress was great, she kept the beers coming without stalking us, and delivered food/drinks promptly. And Oh! The burgers! Were awesome. Perfectly done, I like mine med rare and so does my fiancé. Perfect. We pretty much stopped talking to shovel in our food. Except for the initial bite, when the BF pointed at me and laughed because I was smiling so hard about the food I was chewing.  I ate it all. Mmmmm. And to top it off, we were presented with a suspiciously small bill at the end of the evening. Not gonna complain about that one. I've got the sneaking suspicion they haven't hired math majors as servers. It was a fun little bar with great food. And if you want to play some games, you'll be in heaven.

So I'm going up to Baltimore for a going away party for a couple friends who live in Charles Village.  The party was at the Greene Turtle, but we got to Baltimore early and didn't want to be the first people there, so we decided to have a couple beers at another bar in the neighborhood and found this place.  Great, friendly little bar.  We sat around had a couple beers and played trivial pursuit with a handful of people who looked like regulars.  Maybe it was just that I'm used to DC, but the prices were great.  I remember looking at the daily specials on the sign and how DC can be so much more expensive than Baltimore.  Then I remembered that on the way in we had seen the aftermath of an attempted robbery where a store owner beat the robber with a bat.  Maybe stuff like that has something to do with it.

Great food, great service. Possibly the best burgers in Baltimore. Really!.. Friday $5 burgers are a deal. Watch the additions to the burger. They can add up. Not a problem on $5 Friday, but on other nights it can take the normal $10 burger and make it an expensive treat.  Pay extra for mayo, lettuce, onion, tomato, barbeque sauce, etc etc. Hate to be nickel/dimed. Be careful. It is too bad when everything else is good. Other food tried has been good . The menu is limited, but that isn't a bad price to pay for good food and friendly service.
