I just went to this place becuase Kevin Blackwood told me to go. It was a lot of fun. Some of the tunes on an open mic night were pretty good. Others could have used some help but the bar tender was *excellent* and I would love to go again. Very laid back.

Love this place. I think of it as a bar rather than a restaurant though, as I don't eat meat, their menu doesn't appeal too much...
Small little balcony with tables that with the right weather is GREAT! Beer is wonderful, the menu for beer is impressive; it covers enough to where no matter what kind of beer you're looking for you'll find one, but not too much to where you get overwhelmed. The cheese platter/plate that I have had was good. Occasional live music is really awesome. And the staff is generally a treat.
Plus for a bar... there are not a lot of annoying-just-21-types! No drunken annoyances or sailors to try and hit on you.
Tizleys is a gem.
UPDATE 01/05/08: I just went to Tizley's last night and I noticed they have added the (practically mandatory) dart board! There are also a bunch of board games (connect-four, cribbage, battleship, etc), providing an indoor entertainment option typically exclusive to coffee houses. I also noticed they now serve my new favorite cocktail... dark and stormy (made with molasses flavored rum and ginger beer). So, bravo! This place keeps getting better and better!
ORIGINAL REVIEW: My favorite thing about Tizley's is the balcony overlooking Front Street. It's a great place to enjoy a pint or two while munching on some happy hour snacks and watching the sun go down. Of course once the sun goes down, you'll want to go inside before Poulsbo Vilkommens you with some truly frigid Northwest air. Inside you'll find a cozy atmosphere, but last I checked it was missing the obligatory dart board.

Great pub with an extravagant beer list. So many imports available. As far as appetizers, the hot pretzel is yummy and the mustard will knock your socks off. The drunken sausage wasn't a flavor I cared too much for. They sometimes have live music on the weekends that kicks butt.
This is my favorite restaurant in Kitsap County so far! I love the German cuisine, and the friendly service. The mushroom appetizers are amazing, the entrees perfectly balanced, and we're always suckers for creme brulee. I recommend the jaegerschnitzel with spaetzle and rotkohl or anything with kraut. The atmosphere is very comfortable, not too fancy, and perfect for a pub. You can see a menu with prices on their Web site. They have live music on the weekends and open mic on Wednesdays. We heard a very good guitar player there one Friday night.
