I have to agree with the other reviews... this is a solid place.

The location is great, the lobby is nice, not stuffy.  The rooms are very comfortable, and the staff are accommodating.

If you're coming to Vail and really want to go big get the Presidential Suite, it's awesome!!!

I couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

We planned to stay for two nights and extended it to three. We couldn't be happier than at the Tivoli. BEAUTIFUL inn, granite counters in the rooms, shower with three sprays, large bath, fireplace, tea, coffee in the rooms and available in the lobby at all times. Gorgeous place. Good workout room, nice hot tubs outside, great breakfast included in the nightly fee. The staff is VERY accomodating and professional. The original owners and family live on site, and apparently the family runs the place, and they run it very well. Really the best inn hotel I have ever been in.

One of Vail's best accommodations, the Tivoli Lodge truly does exceed in customer service and location.  Well not necessarily the most elegant hotel in Vail it quickly has you feeling at home in the comfortable building and rooms.  It's outstanding location provides quick access to Vail mountain or great Vail restaurants such at Sweet Basil, bars like the Tap Room, and many more.

I stayed here after booking through http://www.VailSkiVaca..., they were incredibly helpful and locally ran so they knew the best places in town.  I wouldn't hesitate to use their company again to find lodging in either Vail or Beaver Creek.

I'll be back!

The Tivoli in Vail is absolutely breathtaking. I recently had the pleasure of spending a week there, and I can confidently claim that I will be coming back for years to come.

The lodge rests at the bottom of the mountain, just a block away from Golden Peak. Every morning, we were offered a warm continental breakfast with great views of the mountain.

Afterwards, once ready to hit the slopes, you enter the ski locker area where their very accommodating staff retrieves your boots and skis for you. It's amazing. It's service that is unparalleled, and extremely generous. It's what vacations should always be.

The rooms are wonderfully done. Simple, great lodge feel, but with first class amenities. Granite counter tops, plush beds, and great size.

I really could go on and on, but the reason I am giving Tivoli 5 stars is simply because of their staff and service. Every morning, there was a warm staff member, ready to give you a report about the snow and what's been groomed. They are inviting, and especially willing to do whatever it takes to make sure your stay is memorable.

I unfortunately had to do some business while there, and they made every effort to assist me with receiving and sending my FedEx packages.

If you are in Vail, you need to stay at the Tivoli. There's simply nothing like it.

we really enjoyed our stay there!

the room was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. we got a room with a king size bed. the bed was okay, but some of the pillows were waaaaay too soft. i had to fold two in half to support my head. the shower was nice and the bathroom clean as well. we did have a problem with the heat in the room, but the staff was quick to try to fix it (although we didn't get it fixed. we just turned it off and hoped for the best).

the breakfast in the morning was very nice. a good selection of juices and the availability of eggs, bacon, bagels, breads and such was impressive. the hot tubs outside were nice as well, although i would have preferred to have it a little hotter. the later you go to the tubs the less crowded they'll be, and you can do some nice stargazing while you're out there also.

Home away from home - we didn't want to leave. The Tivoli Lodge is a relaxing place to stay right at the base of a world class ski resort that feels like a private get-away you can escape to after a day of skiing/boarding. It compares to a lodge you would find in Chamonix. Recently renovated (I believe in 2006) it feels brand new yet very homey as if you were staying at a bed and breakfast  (its easy to forget your right in the Vail Village). The staff is attentive, professional and they were genuinely personable like old friends without ever being intrusive (this is really special). You could find the owner sharing breakfast in the morning with the guests and inquiring about your day on the mountain in the afternoon.

The rooms: very spacious, again granite counters throughout and travertine tile in the bathroom which also offers a very large soaker tub and a standup shower with side-jets. Pull up a soft leather chair to the gas fireplace and look at the mountain vista or put on one of the provided robes with a glass of wine in hand and head down to one of the two outdoor hot tubs.

My only criticism is the bed is too comfortable - set an extra alarm so you can catch the complimentary breakfast and get first tracks on that bluebird day in Vail.

The Tivoli Lodge feels like a warm, friendly small hotel.  The design and architecture feel like a Swiss mountain lodge.  One of my favorite things about the hotel was that they don't nickel and dime you like other hotels in this price range.  The internet is free.  There are no $8 bottles of water in the room.  Breakfast is included.  It' s a simple, but well done buffet.  If you want a more substantial breakfast, there are fine options just a short walk away in the village.

The staff took great care of me while I was there.  They do have a rule about boots and gear in the room, but they do a nice job of stowing your gear and providing you sandals for the trip back up to your room.

I'd gladly stay at this hotel again.
