It's way too expensive, although I do love the pork and chicken adobo. My mom lives in Hawaii and the traditional Hawaiian food there is very different. It's like they California-ized the food so it would attract a more varied crowd. But the food is good for people who are new to Hawaiian food. If you want bigger portions, go to Ono Hawaiian Grill on Sloat Blvd in the shopping center there. Yeah, it's a chain, but they give you a heap of food for a lot less than Tita's. Aloha!

I'm sorry to report but Tita's seems to have closed its doors. I live across the street and there's a "FOR RENT" sign in the window. Bummer. I loved smelling their cooking on my way home.

It's a definite neighborhood joint feeling with a flair and a menu of the tropics. Nice execution on the food, friendly people.. but some of their prices are way out of whack. I love my teriyaki chicken with rice like the rest of you, but I don't need to plop down 13 dollars for it. That being said, they do have an extensive egg-heavy breakfest menu which I appreciate.

A little overpriced for Hawaiian food, but better quality than the L&L's or Hawaiian Drive Inns. The chicken adobe was pretty good and yes, MALASADAS!! Hawaiian Portugese donuts for those that don't know.

It's a nice neighborhood joint when you are craving a taste of the tropics.

Tita's has malasadas. Not too many other places in the bay area have them. That alone means Tita's gets a high score. I think my favorite thing about this place is that it feels like you step in to a different neighborhood joint just across the ocean when you walk inside.
