This store has the cutest little things ever!  For some reason, I'm really into minature items.  Today was my first visit and I bought a bunch of minature pig magnets, minature magnet hooks, and a minature six pack of tabasco sauce.  I was very happy looking around.

I wish this store were bigger.  But then maybe it would lose some credibility.  Everything you need for tiny-ass apartments.  Kinda pricey but so is your rent.  And the guy behind the counter hit on me.  I was flattered.

I love Tiny Living! This store is brillant for those of us who live in glorified shoe boxes here in Manhattan.
I have been searching for a place that will give me the functional items I need, but in the small size that I have to have to not overwhelm the space in my apartment. I found a perfect sofa here, that looks great, and is super functional, as it still pulls out into a full size sleeper sofa, but doesn't look gigantic in my apartment.

I always pop in whenever I'm in the area just to check out and see if they have any new nifty things I can use.
Great store!

What a perfect store for Manhattanites crammed into tiny places with minute square footage. Love it! When I asked the cashier if they added items occasionally to their selection, he responded "if we come across something new that fits the theme". Ah. But of course.

Everything in there was too cute. Made me wish I had not splurged on my ginormous iron. And I positively loved the small ladder that doubled as an ironing board. Brilliant! I mainly opted for the dish rack, which is far smaller than anything I've come across thus far. Only complaint since using is that it's not super sturdy - but perhaps that has a fringe benefit of encouraging me to keep the dishes clean. LOL.

Tiny Living is a really cute shop in the east village that's perfect for those of us who live in those tiny 350 sq. ft. village apartments (and still pay out the a**).  They have a lot of cool gadgets and very useful items for small-apartment living.  I got a really cool menorah there for half price after Hanukkah!  Overall, prices are moderate.  Definitely a cool place to check out even if you're just browsin'.

This store in East Village is cute, as is everything it sells. It specializes in "tiny" items for people living in "tiny" apartments, and most of them are pretty well designed, fashionable and reasonably priced. The selection is very eclectic: from couches to kitchen utensils, frames and other objects. Fun store to go browse for random things, and I imagine it's also a great place to find a gift. Tiny store too!

Oh 7th street, too long, too long have I neglected you.

I was astonished to see this tiny shop dedicated to tiny living the last time I  wandered down 7th street. "My stars, what a charming notion!" I exclaimed. For indeed, I was in search of various ways to enhance my tiny apartment lifestyle.

However, I was pretty disappointed once I entered. There's not exactly anything here that you couldn't find at the Container Store or Bed, Bath, and Beyond - and there's much, much less of it. I was expecting more innovation, more bright ideas. Magnets and corkboard, even in size small, is not exactly a new insight. There were a few things, like a toilet brush in a more narrow container, that I think I hadn't often seen before, but it was hardly a revelation.

What I'd like to see in this store is more variety and more cleverness. It might require more square footage (o! the irony!) to teach the eager masses how to live small, but I think it would be worth it. As so many other reveiwers have said, a store for tiny living is perfectly placed among the miniature East Village domiciles. Now, if only it had something to show for it.

Tiny Living makes me want to take everything I own and find some clever way to stick it to the wall.  I could free up so much floor space! Man, I don't even know what I'd do with floor space. Stand in it, I guess?

Protip: Magnetic clear-topped spice containers that you can stick on the fridge will change your freakin' life.

So close to being a five star - if only they'd had what I was looking for!  This is, of course, a genius idea for a store in New York - particularly in the East Village, where apartments give new meaning to the word small.  I went in search of some mini shelves that were less than a foot wide, but did not find them.  I did however spend quite a bit of time in there marvelling at all the fabulous space saving items and ingenious ways to stack, store, and fit things in your tiny New York apartment, and I ended up coming up with a solution to my space issue without shelves (though if anyone knows where one can get tiny shelves like that, please let me know!).  A very inspiring little place.  I feel certain I will patronize them again.

This place makes no sense. If I had enough money to buy an adorable and overpriced tiny designer something or other, I would have enough money to live in a bigger place!!

Love it! I walked by for a long time thinking it was just another overpriced little design shop, but  their stuff is actually very affordable.

They have the coolest items/gadgets for us New Yorkers with NO SPACE. Literally everything is a great idea, so you can get some creative insights about how to deal with your space (or, in my case, lack thereof). They have lots of accessories and some furniture. My sister got an awesome fold out sofa from them and I'm so jealous because I simply don't have the room for it...

My only complaint is that I wish they had a larger store to offer more selection- maybe more furniture- but I guess that would kinda go against their concept?

If you live in a small apartment like I do, Tiny Living can help you make the most of your space.  It's also a fun store just to walk around in.  From desks to kitchenware to clothes hampers, this place has it all.

"furniture for small spaces" is on the business card.

This store is less about furniture and more about stuff.  so many nyc residents have taken everything we own and shoved it into less square footage than our family dogs were free to roam while growing up.  my first studio here was 325 sq ft - about the same size as a plush college dorm room.  I could have used tiny living when I needed implements that wouldn't take up a whole lot of my precious space.

DANGER WARNING: You may walk into tiny living and start to buy things because they are small and "cute".  Do not do this.  You will just clutter up your digs.

Make a list of what you need and THEN come into tiny living to get the perfect keyboard (they are so gel-tastic and come in clear or black), a nifty measuring spoon that adjusts to all of your basic T or t amounts, wall wine storage, etc.  Only buy what you need (or really really really want).

I am sad my current home is all outfitted because I dug the goods at t.l. You probably can find most of the inventory at another store, but why bother when it is all here in one place?

If you live in a New York apartment, Tiny Living is your best friend.  This tiny store features a staggering variety of down-sized design elements, to help make your pad stylish, functional and more organized.  I especially recommend their leaning desk, which helps you squeeze a computer workstation into a couple of square feet of real estate.
