Fantastic Customer Service!!!
I usually go to Sun Dimmers at Saugus, Ca for all my cars. Since I live too far from them now, I wanna give Tint Master City a shot.
Upon arriving to my appointment, Matt and Robert welcomed me and thanked me for considering their shop. They quickly assessed what I wanted for my car and they introduced and explained each shade of tint on which one they recommend. I have a particular shade that I want and they supported it without hesitation, which sometimes is the other way around with other shops. I truly felt I was treated well like I was in a cruise...asked me right away if I wanted something drink. Knowing the job would take 2-3 hours and the mall was nearby, Robert offered to give me a ride and drop me off. I did not want it at first because I can walk there but Robert insisted. A couple hours came by, I was bored to death in the mall so I decided to walk back to checkout if it was almost done. When I arrived, Matt said to give them half an hour more or so and handed me a cold bottled water. When they finished, Robert instructed me on how to take care of it and to report to them if there's any problem and they will fix it for me for free. Now my car looks fresh and more luxurious looking ;)

This place is the most honest place you will find. Their work is quality. I wanted to get limo tint all around and Robert was honest to me and said he does not recommend it. He thinks limo in the back and 25% in the front would reduce the chance of me getting pulled over by a cop. He said, I can do limo all around and then when you come back to change it charge you again, but I would rather be honest with you and get it done the first time right. Robert is an ultra nice guy who works hard to make sure his customers walk away happy. I think the service component of business' are missing these days. Tin Master City tint prices are competitive and I would even pay $20 more just because of Robert, his service and business ethics.
Tint Master City... or go home... all the way! -

So now it's 2012, I finally had the resources and time to have the down-to-earth pros Matt and Robert rework my ride. I called to make an appt, rolled out, talked at length to Matt and Robert about what I wanted, their opinions, suggestions, and cost...
They're extremely great guys who want you to be informed before you make you your mind. They'll set you up however you like, but they also look out for ya by informing and suggesting first.
I'm sorry, but these guys run a small business like it should be run, with real customer service. They know the product, they know the installation, and they know their customers. I wish more small businesses were run like this, maybe I'd have more patients with people and businesses...
So in the end, I dropped my ride off, Robert gave me a lift to work and I picked it up the next day and it never looked so good... It was a lot of work being a complete redo and it's always better to give a pro time to do it right then try to rush anything.

My wife is in need of a place that will do a front window tint "as legal as possible", so, I suggested my favorite place for a great tint.
Robert is a great guy. He remembered me and went to work showing the different options that we had with pricing and length of tint.
I didn't have time that day, but I will definitely bring the car back for its proper tint. -

Amazing service!!!!!
My hubby decided to get his 328 BMW windows tinted, he scheduled an appointment to bring the car on Saturday.
we showed up at 10:00am and the guy was waiting for us and started working right away.
we came to pick up the car 2 hours latter and it was perfect!!! we couldn't hope for a better job. On top of the great job the guys were professional and curtious.
I wil recommend them to anyone i know. -

Tint Master City's service, hospitality, and honesty out-performs the competition. Matt and Robert aren't one of those guys who put up facades and are just in it for the money. They want to give their customers exactly what they pay for and their craftsmanship is outstanding. These guys do an incredible job with window tinting and I'm glad I came here to get that job done! I first went to Tint Master City, because they were one of the few highly recommended places using genuine quality 3M tint. To my surprise Matt and Robert were very easy going and had great knowledge about the product and installation procedures. They took about the time they requested.
This small business packs a big punch with their delivery as well as treating their customers with respect. Everybody's time is valuable and non-recyclable and Matt and Robert understand, thus not wasting any additional time. Sure there are places that sound great, but these gentlemen are the real deal. I will be taking my other three cars to them, because of the pride they take in their work.
Their prices are extremely competitive, so if you are looking to make your ride look great, look no further. They get two thumbs way up! -

I only knocked off 1 star because it took longer than they said. I was told over the phone the whole process would take 2 hours. I made an appointment and when I got there they said it would take 2 and 1/2 hours. It ended taking about 3 and 1/2 hours when all was said and done.
Otherwise they did an amazing job! It looks amazing and everything is lined up perfectly. They are really nice and drove me to the mall so I didn't have to wait in the office the whole time. I recommend them to everyone! -

Just bought a new car and wanted to get the windows tinted, for privacy of course. ;-) Yelp's always been a great resource and this place was highly recommended by... almost everyone! Now I know why. Called and spoke with Robert. We had a very pleasant conversation and he gave me a quote over the phone. He accommodated me on a busy Saturday. He was very professional and offered suggestions on what I should have put on. He told me the car would be done by 3pm and, sure enough, as I walked in at 3pm (after a 1.5 mile walk), car was all done! The end result was great! I got 30's on all windows and 20 on the rear. Car looks great!
Overall, a great experience! Price was a bit steep compared to others in the area but it was worth it. I would highly recommend! 5 stars! -

They do great work.... but they raised their prices to a point where it wasn't worth it for me :/ so I took my business elsewhere. Sad, as I had about 4 of my cars tinted here, as well as numerous of my friends' cars. -

I was referred by a friend who told me they are the best. He was right. Great service. Matt and his partner were both very friendly and nice. They suggested 20% rear and 35% front, which was perfect. Their work was clean and done on-time. They gave me a ride to work while my car was being worked on. overall a great experience. i will definitely come back to tint master in the future for my tints.
Update: The back window has two bubbles. The lines are not as clean as I previously thought. They also got the interior dirty and I had to spend time getting the stains out. They wiped the exterior of the car which was slightly dusty and made swirl marks. Mind you the car had 150 miles and had ZERO swirl marks before. They are ok, but not as flawless as I was told, or what I originally thought. 5 stars to 4 stars. If my expectations weren't so high I would have been more satisfied. -

Took two of my cars of my cars to get tinted Rav 4 05 and Civic 2012. Did a great job finished the Rav 4 in an hour but the Civic took almost four hours because it seemed like they took more priority in other cars, even though i had an appointment.They only charged me 165 for all windows expect the front windshield on the civic and only 10(175) dollars more on the Rav 4. I tried going back to get the front windshield and get my head light and tail lights smoked on the civic, but they wanted to charge me 100 on the front windshield and 400 for all my lights. NO THANK YOU. i found a better place that would do it only for 200 light and windshield.

Did a lot of Homework on Yelp...I bought a Brand new BMW 325 i @ Center BMW in Van Nuys where they refer everybody to a local glass tinting shop down the street..I read their reviews on Yelp & although they rate 4 stars, they sounded kinda shady !! I stumbled upon Tint Master City & felt a good vibe right off the bat...Spoke to Robert @ 10am, Drove it to his shop @ 11am & drove it home @ 2pm !! Robert and Company were Awesome !! EXCELLENT WORK !! He's got my Business for life !!

It is very hard looking for a tinting place when you are on a budget, but want great quality. I found Tint Master City on the Internet, and checked out their website. They seemed to have a very good webpage so I called and spoke with Matt. He was polite on the phone and we made an appointment right away. I believe they have been in business for almost 7 years, but they have almost 20 years experience in this line of work.
I went into his shop and it looked clean and organized for a tint shop. He has an entire wall of photos with celebrities that he did tinting for.
Unlike most customers, I went in with my four month old baby and partner. My partner is a very picky, picky guy. He's looks at my car every single day to see if I made any new scratches or dings on it and it's not even his car, and I am the one paying for it! LOL! My partner insisted that he stand there the entire time Matt and Robert (co-owners) work on the tinting. He literally observed them for almost three hours while they were doing their work. I was in the office watching tv and playing with my son.
Anyway, he liked their work so we will be back next week to get his car done. He said that my car was the guinea pig to test whether these guys can do excellent tinting or not. They also apply clear bras for cars, but my partner already got that done. We will have to check out their quality of work for clear bras later down the future.
What I liked about Matt and Robert is that they have a great personality and really try hard. Matt was cool and he showed me pictures of his proud son who is attending UC Riverside and is a computer engineering major. He also has a beautiful daughter and wife. I LOVE to Yelp about the way people interact with me because I am fascinated with the stories of how people opened their business and I want to know human interest stories. Robert and Matt have an interesting story of how they became partners after knowing and working with each other for so long. They really work hard for the American Dream, and I am happy to come back since I know that he is a good father and want his son to graduate from college.
Lastly, there is a 10% off coupon on their website. I quoted two other tint shops for pricing. One was a shop in Koreatown that was way expensive and didn't even guarantee a life time warranty. Another was a shop in Van Nuys next to Hertz Rental that was a little more than 20% cheaper than Tint Masters, but they did not have a website so my partner didn't trust them.... We will be back again to do his car next week. They use 3M tint and Llumar. Those two are great brands. They have ceramic based tint as well. MAKE SURE YOU NEVER GET TINTING FROM A PLACE THAT DOES NOT PROVIDE LIFE TIME WARRANTY! -

I was very impressed with quality of work that TMC did on my GF's car and came here myself to have my car tinted. Robert is kind and really genuine. He and the staff at TMC take pride in the service they provide and that's the reason why this place stands out amongst the rest. I'd definitely come back in the future and would highly recommend them.

I don't mind paying a little extra for good quality... but I received good quality tinting and great service! I made an appointment to bring my car in on a Saturday afternoon. They honored the quotes they gave over the phone and the approximate time they needed to finish the job. It maybe only took an extra 30 minutes for them despite telling me that it would take 2.5 hrs to do the job. But that I expected them to be busy based on the other yelp reviews they've received.
They were very hospitable, offering me water and the option to watch TV in their waiting area, and even a ride to and from the Westfield Topanga Shopping Center while I waited.
The experience was smooth and pleasant and I would definitely return on future opportunities to do business with them again. -

The short version: This is an awesome window tinting business, and I wouldn't hesitate to bring my next car.
The long version: On a Saturday afternoon a tint business in Burbank had seriously flaked out on me by double-booking my appointment. Matt and Robert came to the rescue. Of course they were fully booked themselves, but offered to help out at the end of their work day. After all their workers had punched out for the day, they stayed another two hours to get the job done. Their 20-year experience in the industry shows in their near perfect craftsmanship. They gave me a fair deal, and I am really happy with the amount of heat the 3M ceramic film I picked for the tint job keeps out of my car. -

Amazing experience!
I decided to call Tint Master City after all the great yelp reviews. And I'm so glad I did!! Robert was really nice and professional explaining the whole process over the phone.
He even dropped me at Topanga Plaza while they worked on my car. Two hours later and viola, my car was ready. The tint looked amazing! Nice & dark all around, per Robert's suggestion... Just in time to save my new black interior from the summer heat.
I would gladly refer my family and friends to Robert anytime. -

I needed my right side windows tinted so I called to get a quote and right away Robert gave me an answer. It was 3pm and he said I could come the next day and they would be able to take care of it. But told him I needed it today. He said ok since it's just the sides I can fit u in. I came and right away and he took my car and started working on it.
After only waiting like 1hour my car was done! I loved it! Not only did they do a great job, they were able to match it with my old tint on the rest of my windows. They were so hospitable and really friendly. I would def come back again. Thanks Tint Master City you guys are awesome! -

I was looking around for a good place to get tints for my new car. I yelped a few places in the valley, and was even recommended to go to California Tint in Rosemead, but for some reason this place caught my interest. I was still a little hesitant, but decided "what the heck" after checking out their website. So I gave it a try...
When I called to find out more, Robert assisted me. He was very friendly, very informative and answered all my questions; he even was able to quote me a price over the phone. What I liked most was that Robert was not pushy or aggressive at all. So I made an appointment over the weekend.
I arrived on the day of my appointment and as soon as I pulled into their lot, I was immediately greeted by Robert. He showed me several cars that his guys just did that morning...they all looked very good (a Lexus IS, a BMW 3-series, and an Acura). I was there talking to Robert for only about 10 minutes, and within those 10 minutes, the owners of those 3 cars came in to pick up their rides, all leaving very satisfied.
I was still unsure of what shades to get, so Robert told me he needed to pick up another customer from the mall (apparently they can give you a ride over to the mall while they work on your car), and pulled up another BMW and told me to just look at the shades and decide slowly (because the BMW was the same color interior as mine, and the shades on the BMW was exactly what he recommends for my car). Robert recommended for me to do 20 on the rear only and 35 all around, since my car is dark gray and has black interior. I told him i didn't want it too dark, so that was what he recommended. So when Robert came back and took care of the other customer, he asked if i was ready, and i told him i would go with his recommendation. He told me to trust him and that he's been doing this for over 20 years. And so I did.
I was told the wait would be about 2 and half hour (said it would be done by 5pm for sure), so i had some time to kill. While I was waiting for my gf to come pick me up, the workers there were so nice that they asked if i needed a ride anywhere. I told them i was ok and was waiting for a ride.
5pm came rolling around, and I went back to the shop expecting my car to be done already. This is where the minus one star comes in, i still had to wait a bit even after I got there (**actually I would only take off minus 1/2 star if i could). But that's ok and understandable, because it was a Saturday and they still had customers coming in at that time. I rather them take their time and do a good job, instead of them rushing through it and doing a sloppy job. Also Robert said my car (Acura TSX) was harder to do because it's so precious and detailed that they need to take their time and be extremely careful with it, and I appreciate that.
Anyway, when they finished my car and pulled it out, I was amazed at how good it looked. Robert told me what to do for the tint to dry. But man was I amazed! I examined the job they did, and it was excellent, high-quality, professional work. You can tell they're very meticulous, which is what you want in a tint job.
Key things I liked about Tint Master City:
- friendly service (drives you to the mall if needed), knowledgeable staff (Robert)
- honest and upfront
- they use good-quality film (3M)
- tint job: very professional, very careful, top quality work (no bubbles, and covers every spec/inch of the window)
- lifetime warranty (be sure to keep your receipt)
- received 10% discount if you visit their website and printout the discount coupon (I paid $170 for all 5 tints: 20/Rear, and 35/all 4 doors)
- they service some high-profile celebrities as well (Andrew Bynum, Brian McKnight, Cuba Gooding Jr, Erik Estrada, etc..)
So far my tint's holding up well, and it makes my car look that much more elegant. I definitely would recommend this place if you're looking to get high-quality tints. Like Robert says "you get what you pay for." -

I'm not sure why I even bother writing Yelp reviews anymore, because every (EVERY) review I've ever written has gotten "filtered" by Yelp for some reason, and is unseen by the public. I'm starting to wonder what's the point of taking the time to write reviews if they are never seen?
Anyway, Rob and his crew run a great business here. Very customer oriented, friendly and professional! I recently got my SL500 tinted 30% all around, and they did a fantastic job for a great price. No bubbles, wrinkles, etc. The only thing I might have done differently is gotten slightly darker 20%, but the 30% looks great though. If you need a great tint job, check these guys out! -

I brought my Mazda here when I bought it brand new a few years ago, and the tint was perfect until the day I sold it. They use high quality 3M film, and it is completely done by hand - no computer cheating.
This place is extremely out of the way for me, but I don't mind going for a long drive if someone knows what they are doing.
I've actually attempted to tint my own windows before, and it is giant headache and it doesn't come out anything like a professional job. I don't know how these guys do it. I think everyone should at least try to apply one sheet of tint in their life to appreciate the experience and skill that goes into window tinting. -

I've been dealing with these for about 5 years now ever since they have opened. I have NEVER had ONE single problem.
Best tint shop I've ever been to hands down. The quality is by far the best I've ever seen. Never had bubbles, the tint was so nicely cut that I couldn't even tell window tint was on the window! (which I pay great attention/detail to)
I've tinted all six of my cars there and send all my family/friends over to these guys, I would not trust another tint shop.

What more can you ask for?
Rob and Matt at Tint Master give you the best price, for absolutely the best tint job. No bubbles and No alignment mistakes.
They are extremely nice, personable, and generous people. They'll take care of you, and keep the car clean in the process as well. I'm actually sitting outside waiting on my second car I've brought to them. I'm getting 30% on the sides with 20% on the rear on a 2011 BMW 3 series.
I've had some horrible tint jobs before I came to tint master, but I can confidently say I've found the only place I'll always go for Quality Tints. -

Not that I go around getting windows tinted all the time, but this place is great. I made a call one morning and received a quote over the phone. I spoke with Matt and he was super nice. The quote was really reasonable, and they were able to get me in that afternoon. My husband took me so I would have a ride while they worked on the car. He liked the place too and decided we would tint his car as well! They were able to complete both of our cars that afternoon. Robert was really helpful and recommended the perfect tint for our cars. Matt also was able to remove a couple of old stickers that were on the inside of my window! We later realized our parents also had their cars tinted here. I have no problem recommending this place.

Pretty good place, made a same day appointment, gave me a deal from yelp.
I don't know anything about window tinting, so i was pretty anxious about what i was gonna get, but the other 20 reviews are pretty on the mark.
I asked about some of the more expensive stuff, but the owner, i think Mark. straight up told me to just stick with the lowest cost one (I took it as a sign of him not trying to gouge me for money -- as i spoon fed him an opportunity to do so) . I drive an 02 camry so it aint worth more than 150 for tints.
anyway, I was in and out in an hour n a half and the tints are great -

Are you one of those people who reads hundreds of reviews before using that company's services? Do you cringe and hesitate to spend money using someone that you have never met or heard of before? Great, we can be friends.
Now that we are.....If you're thinking of tinting your car (not just windows, but lights, or getting hood stripes, or much more), you need to go visit Robert and Matt. I had never met them before, never heard of the store before, never even noticed they were there, but what a hidden gem. I met them, loved their quality work, superb customer service, and extreme friendliness, and will recommend them to anyone who is looking for the services they provide.
Notice how everyone is writing awesome reviews and flaunting their names like they've been great friends with 'Robert and Matt' for ages? Well, it's because they ensure that's how you feel by the time you leave the shop. Don't just take it from me...lots and lots of celebrities have been there (pictures to prove it!), with cars ranging from $1k to $100k. They'll give everyone the same service.
As a result, take it from a guy who doesn't like taking chances on just anyone...you'll be extremely happy that you took a "chance" on Tint Master City. -

Took a chance at this shop after reading the reviews on Yelp. Glad I did because these guys were great. Called them in the morning and set up a same day appointment. 2 hours later they had finished tinting the windows on my wife's 2000 Honda Accord.
Matt and Robert were very professional and their work is top notch. They showed me different samples of cars they've done and what combination would be best for me. I've had the tint for 2 months now and couldn't be happier.
Plus, I mentioned that I found them on Yelp and they hooked me up with a little discount. Thanks guys. -

I only needed to do the two front windows, so this review is based on that. They did a good job and they were fast and friendly. The tinting is holding up so far, and it looks good, the same quality as the factory tinting.
I liked that they were able to fit me in quickly, and they got it done while I waited.
They have a really good reputation in the Valley, with a lot of high profile clients. -

I had Maurice come over to give us a quote on a new tint on our living room window...he spent a lot of time with us giving us all our different options and I really felt like he had our best interests in mind...he spent about 30 to 40 minutes taking off the old tint...then he actually left a bunch of different samples for us to try during different times of the day and told us to call him when we decided which one to order....didn't ask for a deposit or anything...that was pretty impressive for us....I would definitely recommend them to anyone...

Fantastic tint shop! Robert greeted me with a smile the minute I got there. Got my 2008 Camry tinted with 35% in the front and 20% in the back, and I could not be happier. Him and his crew were done in no time, and he even gave me a ride to the mall nearby so I wouldn't be bored while waiting. The price was amazing, and my car looks fantastic.
I researched a million different tint shops before finally making my decision. With so many great Yelp reviews, I figured I couldn't go wrong. It's been 3 weeks now, and I'm completely satisfied. It was totally worth the 10 mile drive from Van Nuys to get my car tinted here. Great service, unbeatable price, and quality professional work. Thanks again Robert!
