Time Warner Cable
64 reviews for Time Warner Cable
Oh Time Warner - I'm sorry I had to break off our long engagement, but alas, you were becoming too much of an ass. Your constant nagging me and taking away my internet and always blaming me when the digital cable went out on the town for hours on end. It was too hurtful, twc. I had to let you go.
My new boyfriend, DirectTV stimulates me in more ways you ever could. He's cheaper to entertain and alas, has longer stamina.
So don't cry for me, twc. I'll be alright without you.
Thank you for finally sending the TWC cherry picker truck out and fixing whatever the hell was wrong on the pole two houses down that kept my Internet unreliable and mostly down for the past week.
Yes, this would be the same problem your "technicians" insisted was my fault and that I needed to take a off a day of work to help you find.
For all the life-blood you're sucking out of us every month, you can afford SolarWinds. As for me, while the internet is still working, I'm giving AT&T DSL a test run, so the next time you get aristocratic and arrogant, I can drop your internet service like a rock.
I'm giving you a star back because your analog TV service works well most of the time and News 8 Austin is terrific. Those are worth 4-5 stars apiece easily. Your digital cable services are about as miserable as your internet though, weighing your score down to twoland.

I feel as if I have been anally raped...
for a while
with no lube
asshats.
Six weeks ago my wife called into Tim e Warner Cable to get our email password as problems with our local PC had caused us to lose the password. Through the phone routing we ended up on the line with a call center in the Philippines and after 30 minutes she still did not have working email and had to abruptly hang up to deal with a kid issue.
After ending the call, the phone immediately rang and upon answering the person on the other end of the line said "F@ck you, you are an @sshole" and hung up. Upon review of the caller id, we confirmed the call was from Tim e Warner.
I promptly called back, was routed back to the call center in the Philippines and lodged a complaint.
Two weeks went by, no response.
I called our local Austin Tim e Warner Cable tech support and lodged another complaint and asked the person managing the 3rd party relationship with the out sourced call center in Philippines be made aware of the issue.
Two weeks went by, no response.
I called back the local Austin Tim e Warner Cable tech support and asked why no one had called my back and the representative's response was "this is an internal issue and no one is going to call you back", so I asked for a manager.
I called back the local Austin Tim e Warner Cable tech support and asked why no one had called my back and the representative's response was "this is an internal issue and no one is going to call you back", so I asked for a manager.
The manger informed me Tim e Warner's policy is not to call back unless the client specifically asks. My response was "I did, but I shouldn't have to ask". When did it become ok not to follow up with customers? When did it become ok not so say you are sorry?
I am not asking for anything free, just the common courtesy for someone to be proactive, explain what action was taken, and say Tim e Warner is sorry for cussing at us. Instead the Manager just argued with me about how their procedures don't call for them to "close the loop" with the customer and let us know what happened with our issue.
I am switching my home phone, internet, and TV to ATT and I encourage you to do the same.

Time Warner case #69786270
I wish I could give negative stars for this crappy company!!! WHY are several channels not working anymore and WHY has my bill not changed???
I hattttte Time Warner and only settled for them because AT&T was so backed up and we didn't want to wait 3 wks for AT&T to come out and set us up, take it from me people.......wait it out!!
We have already had to exchange our cable box because it stopped working, which involved standing in line for over an hour! Now this channel canceling issue.........ah thankfully we are moving soon and wont make the same mistake twice!
i have new found respect for wall street scams after dealing with TWC. I wish this monopoly would end. Their customer care acts like I owe them a favour for wasting their precious time.
The absolute worst experience with cable I have had. I continue to be charged for an account I closed in June. Minimized my new account to internet only, still getting charged for cable, phone, internet. Customer service is abhorrent, bankers hours, prepare to be on hold for a very long time (at least 30 minutes), that's even when you're transferred elsewhere. Obviously Customer service is bad... I have called several times to correct my accounts, GRRR. One star is too much... they owe me 400 stars.
I don't know where to start. The only reason I have Time Warner Cable is because the apartment complex I live in only offers them for Internet, cable and phone service. The minute I moved in, I called AT&T U-Verse and put my name on every "Please Notify" me list they have.
TWC Internet is slow, clunky and they don't provide you with a free Wireless converter. Their Digital Phone is stupid but not all that offensive, so I'll leave it alone for now. The cable, God help me, is the worst service in the history of cable. I am seriously rethinking my choice of TWC and could be changing to Hulu, DVDs and stealing after hours WiFi time at work.
There's too much to say, so here's a run down of the comparison to why AT&T is better. TWC only let's you record 2 things at a time. Their on screen guide is ugly and non-logical at best. Their "On-Demand" features are annoying and unsearchable, instead you have to scroll through thousands among thousands of titles to find what you want. I don't like their remote nor their stupid purple colored guide, and I can only see a week in advance in when I want look for things to tape. Don't get me started on trying to record shows.
If you have a choice and you've never experienced AT&T cable or Internet, as a former AT&T U-Verse user who cannot get that service now, TRUST ME....Choose AT&T.
They're jacking up basic cable (only local channels) to $20. Their price has doubled since I moved to Austin in 2006, and they took away KLRU2. I'm looking at switching to U-verse for TV and internet now.
To cut expenses, I went with Grande Communications because they had a basic phone service for 9.99. The cheapest phone service I could get with TWC was $29.99.
So I switched in the middle of July. I still have not received my refund. I call and I'm told to be patient. Patient? I've been waiting over two months for my money.
Go to Grande, if not Grande, then TWC. Stay away from ATT.
Absolutely terrible, they throttle my net like an abusive husband.
I pay for 21 down, 1.5 up; I get 19 down, 0.4 up.
Their DVR sucks! It splits shows up into short recorded segments, skips forward and loses recorded data, or just forgets to tape your show alltogether.
NEVER rent a movie from On Demand. It usually freezes up during the most traumatic scene. When I called to get my account credited for a frozen movie, they gave me the run-around and asked if I could call back another day to ask for my money back.
I will call back. Oh yes... I will call back.
Their service is a cruel and unusual joke. Congress should take time away from punishing AIG for 5 minutes to let Time Warner Cable stew in the hot seat.
I don't understand how my HD channels can work fine for two weeks of brand new service then disappear. I'm not a moron, so I reset the box myself, then through the phone option, then after waiting on hold in HELL for 30 minutes, I finally get the opportunity to speak to someone who walks me through the same exact steps I tried before. Excuse my run on sentence...
Ya I guess this can sound pretty petty that I'm complaining about HD channels but damn, I am paying for the service! Since the White House can fire the CEO of Chevrolet, can they do us a favor and wipe out the geniuses at Time Warner as well?
I'm extra bitter for several reasons...
1. They are the only option where I live. Satellite is not an option. No AT&T in the area.
B.They can't make it out to repair or replace till Sunday night at 5pm or later...
3. Once you're spoiled with HD on sports...everything else looks like $#!%
Dear Time Warner,
Your bandwidth caps make no sense. First they are out of whack with the rest of the industry's--it's plain price gouging (http://digg.com/d1oKCE). Secondly it's like you want to lose customers (assuming they have the choice or "luxury" of switching). Lastly, your service isn't as good as AT&T to begin with. Making your service worse is only going to drive more customers to AT&T. So this means that if someone switches, it's likely you'll not only lose their money from internet service but they will also switch to AT&T for TV and telephone (I hope the money you save on my extra 5GB per month is worth all the money you'll lose from cable and telephone).
I would have switched awhile ago (I've been too lazy) but now that you want to introduce bandwidth caps, I most certainly will be very soon.
Thanks,
Your former customer
P.S. Even though you're now not going to be instituting the bandwidth caps, I think I'll still be switching.
Years ago, after my apartment building burned down and I lost everything I owned on the planet, Time Warner Cable insisted that I pay them $150.00 for a lost cable converter. That pretty much sums up this shitty company.
Since I have lived in the same place for 12 years, I have Time Warner Cable with the 77 Channels (which they take two or three away every year....really the weather satellite channel...was it costing you that much???) + HBO and am not required to have a cable box. I refuse their phone, Internet, and digital service. I have a DVD recorder so I don't need their shitty DVR service. I want the least amount of contact from this company-eventually the city will wake up and realize this company needs to loose it's franchise.
Time Warner Cable you are absolutely terrible.
If you can avoid Time Warner Cable, please do. You get horrible service and even worse CUSTOMER service.
TWO DAYS IN A ROW they promised a technician come out and fix my internet. TWO DAYS THEY DID NOT COME. I am on hold for a representative as we speak, and have been waiting for 25 minutes.
I am calling specifically the Austin business branch and they honestly could care less about their businesses. ATT or VERIZON PLEASE COME HERE!!
Time Warner hemmoraging cash? I believe it. From the customer service to the squid-billies they send out to put holes in my siding to losing major networks over a few bucks, these guys seem to make all the wrong decisions.
They take every opportunity to nickel and dime you and you really need an advanced degree to understand their invoicing.
AT&T? come fix this mess!
I would easily pay an extra dollar a month to keep my NBC, but Time Warner did not offer their customers any options before yanking the channel from our line up. And I am not seeing any discounts on my bill for having fewer channels. I don't know whose fault it is, nor do I care. All I know is that I miss watching Conan before going to bed and waking up to Matt Lauer. I have no idea what is going on with Pam and Jim! Or what Sarah Palin is going to do on SNL tonight. And don't even get me started about missing the first couple episodes of 30 Rock! I actually stood in Target to watch the 30 Rock commercials on their tvs.
I would dump you now, but AT&T is so busy with new customers that I can't get installation until November 7th! So in 3 weeks, I will be saying 'Adios Mo-Fos!'
First thing you hear: "Please enter the ten digit phone number on your account."
First thing the representative says "What is the ten digit phone number on your account.?"
First thing the senior advisor called in to talk to you 30 minutes later after the representative couldn't assist you: "What is the ten digit phone number on your account.?"
Other things you will hear:
"We offer an on time guarantee! We promise to be at your house between the hours of 8AM and 5pm!"
"Please reset your DVR"
"Please come in and get a new DVR"
"Everything appears to be fine."
"No, we cannot adjust your bill"
"We will call one hour before we come to your house"
followed instead by:
"Hi, I'm here. I'll be here five minutes. If you do not call back you'll need to reschedule."
"Would you like to make a payment?"
"We are cancelling HDNet and HDNet Movies in order to provide you a wider variety of quality programming such as the NASCAR channel!"
"Can you tell us why you are cancelling?"
WTF - I come back to Austin after a one-week trip and my NBC channel (KXAN) has been cut off?? AND Time Warner Cable is telling me to watch NBC programming on my computer? Hell, why don't I COMPLETELY get rid of TW Cable and use my computer, instead? Uh-huh, bet they'd LIKE that?!
C'mon girls, get it together - put whatever stupid issues behind you and run your cable company professionally. Especially when you have all but a monopoly here (I'm paying over $100/month for this? - where's Will Wynn when you need him; oh that's right he's in the pocket of the developers...) One Star (could be lower). This company sux!
I hate that I am more or less forced to use Time Warner since they apparently have a monopoly on new apartment developments. I pay $20 more a month for service than I did in Columbus, OH and that does not even include digital cable, which I also got in Ohio. Ridiculous.
Also, the whole deal with not picking up KXAN for awhile was uncalled for. Finally, as of just a few minutes ago (and the straw that broke the camel's back and made me write this post) is that since I do not have digital cable, I no longer get the preview channel. BS.
Time Warner should quit being such a bully and charge us a fair price for cable and stop taking away services or programs.
YOU MO FO's!
i pay up the wing wang booty hole for you guys and for what? to take away NBC. I dont care who is at fault. everyone wants to point fingers. will i am pointing my middle one at you!
dish network, or direct tv here i come!
Me: Hey, that wireless internet you guys installed a while back...yeah, well it keeps cutting out and even when it connects my signal is really weak and I have to have my laptop within three feet of the box, which kind of defeats the purpose of "wireless."
Time Warner Cable Rep: Our side shows you are connected. Have you tried (insert list of obvious solutions)?
Me: Yes. I CAN connect, but it is sporadic and super shitty.
TWCR: Well it must be your computer then.
Me: But I can connect normally everywhere else in town....
TWCR: Well, we can send a tech out to your place to verify that you are connected.
Me: So you are telling me I need to take a day off from work to wait for your guy to come tell me something I already know, but there isn't anything he can do to actually FIX the problem?
TWCR: Basically.
Me: $#%&@^@*@!!!
....The following day:
Me: Hi, AT&T? I"m going to need new Internet service....
*I won't even go into the billing fiascos I had to deal with on an almost monthly basis--I've never met another company that makes it so difficult to PAY them!
Sit down and grab a cup o'joe, this is a long one.
I'd like to begin by saying that the one star I have given Time Warner, is a substitution for the minus 1 billion stars I think they actually deserve.
Bottom line, my cable never worked.
EVER.
It would record shows in two minute increments, fail to record anything at all, go black in the middle of a television show and lose its signal CONSTANTLY.
I had the Time Warner nocustomer service people on the phone half a dozen times, and placed multiple service calls. They replaced my cable box 3 times to no avail.
The last call went like this:
Me: I'm calling to cancel my nonworking service.
Nocustomer service rep: Have you been calling every time it stops working?
Me: That would require calling daily and I don't have the time to do that, it never works.
Nocustomer service rep: We don't know it's not working if you don't call, so you should even if it's everyday (said in snide tone).
At that point, I turned bright red and steam started coming out of my ears, literally, my husband can vouch for it. I was then informed that I would need to be transferred to the "customer retention department," despite informing them that the only thing they could retain was a vow that I would never give them another penny. I waited on hold for 20 minutes and gave up. Called the next day and waited on hold for THIRTY minutes until I spoke with a human being to cancel my cable.
I just sent off an invoice to Time Warner billing them for the hour of my life that they stole from me by forcing me to hold for their BS customer retention department to cancel my service, instead of just letting the original nocustomer service rep cancel it for me. Yes, it's probably mildly (or wildly, depending on how you look at it) irrational but I am that mad. Will update when I receive a response.
Let's face it... these guys pretty much have a monopoly on the digital cable/internet services in the Austin area. And that sucks.
Knowing what my partner pays for internet and cable with Grande, I was VERY disappointed to learn that 1) Grande doesn't cover my area and 2) for the same services, TWC charges a significant amount more. So, I opted out of the cable and went for internet. The website is awful and sort of difficult to navigate, prices aren't shown for individual internet services. I ended up needing to call to find out how much I was going to get raped for. Not a pleasant experience overall.
Installation was as promised, the guy showed up on time and everything... but he had to call for directions. You'd think they'd have GPS by now! He was nice enough and speedy with the work to be done. TWC just needs to admit that their customers aren't idiots (besides for using them for service) and have the capacity to plug themselves in... especially with transfers of service. Does the guy REALLY have to come over for a transfer? REALLY?!
My webz go in and out sporadically, kind of like when I was liberating the webz from open networks in the area. Fortunately, they haven't failed completely... yet.
Recommendations:
1) Ask about specials and packages when you suck it up and call
2) Mention that "your friend, mom, etc" pays x amount for x
3) Avoid if at all possible and go with Grande
Now I just spend a lot of time watching cable tv at my partner's house.
This is what Time Warner considers good cutomer service:
--- They disconnect cable in part of your house for no explainable reason.
Opppssss.
--- You call, wait on hold for about 10-15 minutes only to be told it is not possible for the cable to only be working in part of your house. Uhhhhhhhhh, ok, like I am not techinical or anything but HELLO, what if I went outside and got all technical and strategically cut the cable that goes to my living room just for the fun of it? Voila! I magically don't have cable in my living room but I still have it in my bedroom. Woweeee. Now on to the really good customer service; I am told I must be there in order for the tech to reconnect what THEY disconnected in error. You are also given a convenient time window of 4 hours.
Sweet.
--- You rearrange your schedule to suit TWC and their error.
Every single time I have called TWC it has been like trying to pull monkeys out of my ass. They have even made auto-draft billing errors that took them months to correct. So when I finally got fed up and had them disconnected altogether (even though where I live only has access to TWC), they only disconnected my bedroom. Glad it's not possible for me to have free cable in my living room for the last 3 years.
Bastards. They bundle up services to get better prices and then require you to take a 2 year contract.
Contract - That means they know their prices suck and they know competition is coming with lower prices. (AT&T and Grande)
JUST SAY NO TO CABLE CONTRACTS!!!!
Does any other business have as many 1 star reviews?
Shouldn't yelp allow for 0 (zero) star reviews?

Timer Warner appears to employ the following strategies for dealing with customer technical problems:
--Denying that the problem exists.
--Insisting that the problem has already been fixed. (You mean the problem I'm still having? OK.)
--Telling you to email the engineering department. (How bouts YOU email the fucking engineering department?)
In my experience, this pattern repeats itself with such cruel precision that Time Warner "customer care" emerges as a sheer horror that would cause even battle-hardened Navy Seals to unequivocally crumble in the face of this labyrinthine, Kafkaesque nightmare.
Basically, after 5 minutes on the phone with Time Warner tech support, you will be trembling with rage and screaming obscenities while ritualistically rubbing your blood-soaked knuckles across drywall.
After 10 minutes, you will be curled up in the corner with a bottle of Jack, crying uncontrollably and babbling incoherent theories about how our universe is ruled by a malevolent demon with a heart of pure evil, hell-bent on the destruction of all that is reasonable or beautiful.
Avoid if possible.
I hate Time Warner Cable. With a passion. We used to have a projector/ tv at our coffee shop but cancelled the HD Cable service over 1 year ago. They never picked up the box and kept billing us for the cable. Someone came to collect on the bill and took the cable box with them. They kept billing us for the HD Cable. It took no less than 4 months to fix the billing issues.
I hate Time Warner Cable. BUT my choices living in the country are limited, so I stick with TWC.
Maybe some day AT&T U-Verse will come to the country and I can switch providers.
1. Ur internets is teh consistents.
2. Ur service is nots.
3. Ur refusal to keep NBC on ur lineup = EPIC FAIL!
As soon as I figure out what to do about my wireless, I am out, bitches!
In loving tribute to Johnny Carson's famous character Carnac The Magnificent:
1) Having my innards dangling outside of me and ants feasting on them while being conscious
2) Enduring a 24-hour Fran Drescher marathon
3) Sharing a prison cell with a gal who calls herself Michael
(looks at card): Things I'd rather do than mess with Time Warner Cable.
Time Warner is proof that monopolies are bad for the consumer. I had a residential account with Time Warner and everything was good until we did a little something that apparently Time Warner frowns on - used the account.
Myself and the two other gentleman who live in my house downloaded approximately 32 GB in a week. Granted, this is above average, but it's not like we were using MORE than the 6mbps down that we pay for. Time Warner's "Abuse control" group proceeded to shut my internet down twice in two weeks. They did not call me, they did not email me, they did not make ANY attempt to contact me before shutting the service down.
Unfortunately, my only other choice aside from Time Warner would be to use AT&T Naked DSL at an exorbitant price, so, I moved over to Time Warner Business Class (yes, for my house...). The only reason that I gave Time Warner anything more than 1 star is that everyone I have so far dealt with on the Business Class side of the operation has been fantastic. My salesman made me feel like I was his only customer, which I obviously was not, the tech support representative who went through the setup with me was very kind and professional, and they gave me a followup call the day after it was set up to make sure that everything went well. Still, I've got such a bitter taste in my mouth from the residential service experience that as soon as AT&T or Grande, or, better yet, Verizon, enter my area, I'll probably be jumping ship.
I hate you Time Warner. I hate you for taking my money and for constantly increasing your rates. Do i get more or better service when you bump your rates up? Nope. All I get is the stiff finger and an empty pocketbook.
I can't wait till i can get AT&T u-verse. Once I do, I'll show you where your increasing rates and crappy service can go.
My standard TV died last night, and I was planning on getting a HD model to replace it. I called Time Warner and a guy told me I just needed to swap my old digital cable box for a HD version, and that they could do it at the TWC office at Stassney and S. 1st.
I took my old converter there on the way to pick up my new HDTV and they handed me a new converter box. Total time: 30 seconds on the phone, then 2 minutes in the store, then another 30 seconds on the phone to activate it.
I could complain about the Time-Warner price continually creeping up, or the cable lineup, but in this case the interaction was fast, painless, and successful, and the total cost was $0.
I used to hate TimeWarner. I thought it was outrageously priced and my internet service would go up and down like the wheels on the bus. Make that kids on the bus.
Anyway, when I moved last time, I checked out all my options. I went with DirecTV and AT&T for DSL. I ended up saving a ton, and I got a bunch of channels you still can't get on TimeWarner. I'm not even a big NFL fan, but I could literally sit and watch the NFL Network for hours. And the news and sports "Mix" channels are awesome. You can watch like 8 games (or news channels) at once and rotate your sound around to the one you want to hear. It's fantastically cool.
Any way, this isn't about DirecTV, but it is about how much DirecTV made me wistfully wish I had gotten it sooner. I think of all the vacations DirecTV and I never got to go on. All the movies we never saw together. All the wasted time and effort I put into being a TimeWarner customer.
We live and we learn, don't we?
These guys are annoying, but no more so than other utility and cable companies. I use them for internet and phone (no TV) and the prices are reasonable, in fact it's exactly the same as my ATT service in Dallas, but I have free long distance and faster internet.
I dealt with customer service at setup, and it was no problem. They actually had a cool feature; instead of leaving you on hold, they give you a quote on wait time and offer the option of leaving a call-back number. I was skeptical, but tried it, and they called back in about 10-15 min. which was slightly less than the estimate. Of course, they had a reason to treat me well BEFORE they had my money. Well, now I've had one problem. Phone and internet went out completely for about a day, but they sent a tech out on a Sunday and he fixed it right up. Even thought we were only without service for about 36 hours, they comped us the whole month. Nice!
As for billing--I find the e-statement convenient and easy to read. I can read my detailed statement on my screen just as well as I could the old paper one. TW allows you to set up automatic payment, too, so you don't have to worry about late fees. There's no additional fee for paying online or using a credit card.
I'm sort of creeped out by how huge and ubiquitous their influence is though, so minus one star for being a brain-washing monopoly. If you're trying to avoid "big corporate" this is not the company for you. According to http://pbs.org, AOL/Time Warner controls the following:
TV
HBO, Cinemax, Time Warner Sports, Comedy Central (50% -- Viacom owns other 50%), CNN, CNN/fn, CNN/SI, CNN Headline News, TBS, TNT, Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies, Court TV (partial ownership), HBO Independent Productions, New Line Television, Turner Original Productions, Warner Brothers Television, Warner Brothers Animation, Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera
Publications
Time Life Books, Book-of-the-Month Club, Little, Brown & Co., Bulfinch Press, Back Bay Books, Warner Books, Oxmoor House, Time Magazine, Life Magazine, Fortune Magazine, Sports Illustrated, Money, People, Entertainment Weekly, In Style, Southern Living, Cooking Light, The Parent Group (Parenting, Baby Talk, Baby on the Way), This Old House, The Health Publishing Group, Real Simple, Golf Magazine, Popular Science, Ski, Yachting Magazine, American Express Publishing Corporation (partial ownership; includes Travel & Leisure, Food & Wine, Departures, SkyGuide), DC Comics, MAD Magazine
Recreation
Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Thrashers, Turner Sports, World Championship Wrestling, and the Goodwill Games
Given their switch to tiered billing based on bandwidth usage, I finally ditched TW Cable for AT&T U-verse. What a night and day difference. Picture quality, design, and overall quality are far higher with AT&T, and I'm no fan of AT&T.
Thanks for making it easy to switch, Time Warner!
Ridiculous fees, digital cable was so slow if it was working which it often wasn't, terrible customer service, techs were never on time etc etc.
If we didn't now live in a complex where our Time Warner service was included in the rent I would not have it. It's just a shame they seem to have a monopoly going here in Austin.
My telephone conversation to transfer my service:
"No I do not want cable phone for $$ more, I only want cable internet."
No I do not want cable TV for $$ more, I'm only calling about cable internet.
No I don't want cable death machine, If you'd listen to me, you'd realize I'm only wanting cable internet. I don't watch enough TV to order it and I already have a cell phone."
It's going to cost me $19 to transfer my service?"
I have a friend who works here who called me back to tell me the $19 was a service fee and the "technician" was going to come to my house and have me sign my name proving that it was me who is asking for the transfer. The "technician" didn't have to do anything but get my signature, because the house was already cable-ready. She said I could come by their office and sign it for free.
I'm already overpaying you for your slower-than-average-speed-in-Poland internet service. I suppose you were going to make me pay for the Vaseline when the "technician" showed up too?
I'm not trying to be contrary, I swear. It's just that I consider it a given that any cable provider will fall squarely into the "Enormous Douche Bags" category of services, so I figure they're all the best and worst simultaneously.
I was dismayed that it took 5 days for them to send someone to set up our digital cable; I am a total TV addict and had been without for days and days waiting for the moving truck to arrive. Just as I was getting the shakes, the TW cable guy showed up and I had to resist the urge to make out with him.
Anyway, when we lived in Canada, it cost nearly $100 a month for basic cable (60 channels) and wireless high-speed internet. With TW, it costs slightly less with digital cable (hundreds of channels including my personal favorite the Lifetime Movie Network--oh, shit!) *and* wireless internet *and* my electronic boyfriend, the DVR, which has made my life great in ways I've only dreamed about. (Ew, that sounded vaguely porny. Sorry)
So for that reason, I must give TW 4 stars.
