2 reviews for Tigard Bowl
Monday, 4/2/07, 4pm. This place gave my friend and I each a free pair of "Tigard Bowl" printed ankle socks. We rented shoes and each bowled 2 games. Total cost $17. The owner/proprietor, Mark Pearl, was a wonderful, gracious and informative host. It must have been the socks because I hadn't bowled in years and still managed to bowl a 171 and 181. I'll cherish those socks forever. You can join one of a variety of leagues for fees ranging from $9.50 to $14. League participants get a deep discount on game fees and their Spring League flyer advertised, "All Bowlers joining us this Summer will receive 2 free games of practice everyday through August 31st." Cashier even offered to give us a printout of our games. Limited in-house food. We had nachos and a pepsi. However, pizza place adjacent to bowling alley delivers ! Menus even provided. Would especially recommend for Mark's friendliness and the cool socks.

I'm not totally sold on this place. We went in for cosmic bowl on a Saturday night, which had all the elements of cosmic bowl, without any frills. Dimmed lights, a blacklight and some bland music. It was expensive too, 2 games came to 11.75 a piece. The system they had hooked up was fancy, which was nice. The lanes were nice, though they took a beating from the way my girlfriend would drop the ball everytime she bowled. Expensive and like every other bowling alley, this place will not be getting a return trip.
