I just reviewed the Mayan, declaring that the Mayan is my favorite place to watch films in Denver.  My second favorite place is Tiffany's.

I admit that it is probably my Jersey blood, but something about old strip malls makes me happy.  I find that most of Denver feels new and energized.  Tiffany's is a blast from the past.

The super long hallway to the theater entrance is made of textured cement and has zero natural light.  The tickets, are cheap, the place is almost always quiet, and the theaters are tiny - all positives for me.

Tiffany's always makes me feel one of two things: A) I am living in 1985.  Or even better B) I am living in 1985 AND I am in a teen movie of some sort.

I highly recommend it!

ok, the Tiff 6 theaters are good for catching that movie you wanted to see when it first came out, but you couldn't fit it in your busy schedule of  "myspacing" your friends, downloading your i-pod with the latest tunes, being wasted at a really great bar downtown. Movies are $1.75 most nights. Sure there's no hi-def digital surround sound, but who really needs that anyway when you just paid under $2 to see a flick? The best times I think to go are on the weekends early in the day or catch the really cheap night during the week on Tuesdays.

Word to the guys out there.....DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT ever take a date to this theater unless you've been dating or married for longer than a year. By this time one would assume you both would be comfortable enough with one another by then that a cheap night out is actually a good thing!

This theater makes its money from the concession stand of course and the number of patrons that show up here on a daily basis. The parking lot can get crowded, but that can be attributed sometimes to the 24 Hour Fitness right next door. The staff is mostly made up of teenage kids, so cut them some slack. Remember how you were in your first job? All and all the Tiff 6 is a great place to catch up on those movies you were never able to get around to. Ode to Bob Barker....at the Tiff 6, "the price is right" and though the staff may be a little slow and parking can be difficult, it is certainly worth the drive.

Offering the lowest ticket cost in Denver, nice theaters, and a snack bar with great prices, Tiffany Plaza is definitely worth a drive across town. Movies get here a little later than at the other second-run movie houses, but that can be helpful if you've missed a title you wanted to see, or want to see a favorite one more time.

(If there's something wrong with the picture in your theater, complain early. Often there is no one monitoring the film.)

Beware the Tuesday jam for 50-cent movies. The parking gets crowded, but there is room in the theaters. Such a deal!

Before, after, or between movies, think about visiting Oshima Ramen across the parking lot to the east (north corner) for delicious gyoza and a bowl of incredible made-from-scratch ramen. We think the pork ramen is best.

This is a great theater and I also like the mall its in too. I hate crowds and this plaza makes me feel like I'm not in Denver because its always so quiet. The theater has cheap prices and a nice cafe in addition to the standard movie food. They also have a decent selection of beer which is always a good thing. If a movie is playing here I will usually go see it over other theaters just for the lack of noisy kids and crowds.
