Worth going to! The people who work there are wonderful and know all their regulars. Great service. The food is great classic Italian-American fare. Really comforting. The portions aren't huge, but you'll leave just past full, but before stuffed, which is a win in my book.
Probably a touch pricier than the other places around there, but the food and quality service really justifies it. Plus, they'll let you bring your own wine, and if you don't, they have a decent selection of inexpensive bottles. Most were about $18. They also have some great mid-week specials. -

The best meal on the peninsula!
This restaurant has been a favorite of mine since 1998. It moved a few stores over with a renovation about 6 years ago but still kept some of that charm. One thing I miss from the older Tiberio's was the brick wall. Yes this wall had photos from past customers, family and friends of the owners and it gave it a downtown Manhattan feel.
But the upgrade was amazing with a very clean look. It still has that kozy feeling because it is a small place. My favorties include the surf and turf, the chicken parmigiana and the pasta primavera. Good wine lise and the staff is very friendly.Listed in: Top Restaurants

Very good Italian food, it can be expensive but they have mid week specials. Best Italian food in Rockaway
