This place is awesome.  Don't go here if you need to be fast.  It's definitely a place to meet up with friends, relax, and enjoy some good food and a beer.

Again, service isn't fast, but the servers are all super awesome.

    +'s:

    1.  The crisps.  I will go here just for these.  Homemade.   Seasoned.  Delicious.
    2.  They have black current.  If you like a little sweetness, try this in a cider or a Guinness.  You're welcome.

Three Lions is a cozy little pub located right off Redmond Way that really embraces its British roots. We've seen a wide variety of sports shown, and we've even caught a little live music here.

The beer selection is alright, but could probably do with a few more microbrews. They do have some interesting combinations, such as cider and Guinness. That is actually much better than I expected.

The food is great. I am a big fan of their pies, especially the beef and mushroom one. Served with delicious fries that are not battered or too skinny, it is a great meal.

First of all, ask to be seated at one of Craig's table.  Nice guy, really funny, and very helpful.  Low key, causal place, lots of UK touches.  Had to avoid the cute British store next door, but window shopped the tea pots.

Second, the beer selection is very decent.  Hubby was happy to see not one but TWO soccer games playing on the various televisions around the place.

Third.  The food.  Don't miss the onion rings, best I've ever had!  And Craig was very nice when I mentioned I couldn't have alcohol (as I'm preggers) and he found me some sparkling apple cider (because I was so ticked I couldn't have Strongbow, which they have on tap).  He recommended the bacon burger, and wow, it was amazing.  Great frites too.

All in all, a great last minute date with the hubby, and I can't wait to go back, especially when I can sample some of the beer menu.

They wear it well. They start outside with the multiple flags of the UK nations, some shingle siding on the eave, a sandwich board with a Union Jack. They're right next door to the British Pantry; in fact, they share a common door. It's a little expatriate outpost happening here.

You walk in and it feels more or less like a lot of bars you've been to, but the touches give it that UK feel. The wingback chairs aren't a common theme for a lot of places, and the louvered shutters on the window give it a cave-like feel that's appropriate. There are highboys and plenty of tables. There's a full bar and lots of dark wood. Put it all together and you feel like, British or not, you're in a place that's true to itself, all of a piece, and ready to welcome you for a friendly pint and some homey cooking. And some footie on the tellie, if anything's live at the moment. They do show American sports too. No shortage of flat screen here.

Service is friendly, and they make an effort at offering a good mix of imported UK beers and domestic offerings in sessionable styles not unfamiliar to the drinking Briton. The menu is what sets this place's feet firmly in Greenwich Mean Time, though. Pasties, chips, fish, a stilton burger, beef and kidney pie. All worth a bite for sure. All reasonably priced. Even more reasonable at happy hour. I will absolutely be back for more.

Great little British pub with in the heart of ye ole Redmond. Tres Liones has plenty of seating options that come to you by way of bench, den, stool, and basic wood. Finding a place to sit is usually not a prob, only been there a few times where my seating option wasn't crystal clear the minute I came through the door.

Good beer choices, mixed drinks and good food. If you look for bar games in a night out, this would not be a stop for you. They have two dart boards (cork boards), but that is it. I must say though, looks pretty easy to get on a board if that is what you fancy.  It is a great place to catching up, plotting against, telling jokes or watching soccer. Never seen many people reading there, so I assume it's not allowed.

An ancient ancestor of Poutine, the Lions offers fries with gravy. The gravy is on the side and the cheese is gone, but still in the same family as the old French Canadian classic. Plus it just kicks ass.

Also, they celebrate Guy Faux day here, so if you like to celebrate unsuccessful, Royal assassinations, this is the place for you.

Tommy want wingy... Stevie want Three Lions.

This place is really nice, right Zach?  This british establishment is home to some nice brew, nice food, and nice trivia.  It lacks the rowdy patrons perhaps, but this is something we can forgive.  It is a nice place to grab a beer and go over case notes.  Beats the typewriter at our hotel room, right Zach?

The food is solid.  We're quite taken by the pasties, eh Zach?  The Lancashire is a simple and effective recipe that never fails us.  It's like having a stew inside of a pastry - what's not to like Zach?  This goes down nice with a warm pile of chips.  Of course, you're not always up for the task and opt for the fruit, right Zach?  I can't fault you - it is a nice sidekick to the dish.  Conveniently, you can buy these pasties next door at the bakery.

This all is enjoyed at the bar or nearby tables, surrounded by a few TVs with the latest sporting match, a fireplace, and perhaps the company of fellow trivia pursuiters.  It gives the place a friendly feel that is easy to relax in, right Zach?  Next time we'll have to try a dessert of some sort.

Prices are at times a bit high.  Even if this is a deterrent, don't like it keep you from having a beer every now and then, or even picking up something next door, right Zach?

I've been back a few times now and I can tell you that I adore this bar. The Shepard's Pie is really good. The burgers are tasty and I am still absolutely in love with The Wings of Fire.

Usually I will order the same one or two of my favorite dishes at a restaurant or bar. However, at Three Lions I have a great deal of trouble deciding what to order because it is all so good! That's not a bad dilemma to be faced with. I can't wait to come back and try something new. From lunch to happy hour to dinner to drinks, this place has an excellent selection.

Stopped here last night for my work crews monthly HH and although I am a non drinker (at least of beers) it was very enjoyable just the same.

My Dad is from Windsor and having been to the UK myself a few times this place reminded me of everything England. Dark mohogany wood furniture, lots of lions on all the beer mugs and plenty of accents. Made me feel like I had just touched down @ Heathrow Airport.

We did HH and the appetizers were mighty tasty. Onion rings served with tarter sauce, chips (french fries) were served with a very strong and somewhat strange curry dip and I think someone ordered the sliders and the tray of smoke salmon which went pretty quick so cleary that was a favorite.

Here you can get any drink (they have every type of beer imaginable) and almost any type of English Pub fare for a decent price, served quickly and always with a smile. There are a handful of TV's broadcasting the game of the day but the place isn't too loud and you can always hear your 'mate' just fine.

My favorite is always the sausage rolls served warm (although I prefer cold) with a huge helping of the typical bar fries...cut large and cooked to a golden brown but really nothing to right home about.

Overall it was a very enjoyable experience and a place I hope to return to soon.

I thought i had already reviewed this place but I cannot find it. Love IT!  A taste of the UK in the food/people and ambiance. I agree with Camille.M Craig is the best server there, not that anyone else is bad but he always makes us smile. Toad inthe hole is truly authentic and the beer selection is great. It does get VERY busy around happy hour and on the weekends so I usually try to go midweek. Parking can get a little tight so I park behing the place. The staff are always happy and glad to see you. If you like soccer then you are in fo a treat. Multiple games are usually on either live or DVR'd.

This place is pretty awesome! I have been here a couple times for trivia, and while our team sucks, we still end up having a great time!

All the staff is super nice, and knowledgeable about the food and beer. They did a great job of explaining some of their beers to my boyfriend, so he could try some of their unique offerings. I always go with a Strongbow, because I can't say no to a Strongbow on tap.

The food is very good too! My boyfriend LOVES the fish and chips, and I really like the steak & mushroom pasty. The onion rings are super tasty. I have tried both the fries and the frites, and I definitely prefer the frites. The fries are too thick, and a little too soft for my liking. But I can always substitute the frites, which are delicious!

The prices are a bit high though. And the beer isn't always as cold as it should be. But the atmosphere is very inviting. Lots of TV's with sports on, lots of tables, and even a few chairs in front of a cozy fireplace. It definitely has the feel of an authentic British Pub, even if it's in a strip-mall in Redmond. The place is really small though, so I can imagine it being a little too cramped if it was super busy, but I personally loved the cozy ambiance.

Last time we were there, we got there about 6 minutes before Happy Hour ended, but the waitress came and got our food and drink orders quickly so we could get them in before HH ended. How awesome is that?

I can't wait to watch a Sounders match here!

Great beer food and decent prices. This is not for the party type people that are looking to get wasted, rather a nice pub filled with decent people and a nice atmosphere.

The fish and chips are fantastic and I loved the wings. I'm not really even a wing fan, but they were great. Nice a crispy deep fried...yum.

I've been only a handful of times, but I'll be back time and time again.

This place has always been fairly busy when we've gone so expect to stand at the bar whole you wait or make new friends and share a table.

We actually prefer to sit at the bar if possible because we get better service and one of the bartenders, Jeff, is a hoot. Also, Keff makes one of the BEST martinis I've ever had in my entire life.

When we've sat at a table the service has been good, though it can be a little slow.

The first time we came in for drinks and had already eaten dinner, but we did get the chips and curry sauce - a great combination. The next time we came specifically to eat and I got the chicken curry pasty, which was so good I've yet to order anything else. The crust is flaky and the filling is a good mix of veggies and meat with just the right amount of spice. And the pasty is excellent paired with the pommes frites or the house salad,  Also, they have HP sauce, which is a must for any English pub. For dessert I've tried the rhubarb pie, but I didn't enjoy it. It was a single pie all encased in crust, but I didn't like the crust (not flaky and too thick for the flavor) and the filling was too sweet for me - I like my rhubarb a little on the sour side.

They've always got soccer or rugby or something on the TVs, so if you're looking to catch a game, chances are it will be on. And if it's not, they'll probably change one of the TVs for you.

Woohoo! Yay for English pubs and happy hour! Lol! It was a sign that we happened to cross paths with this place... It was my Boo's good friends bday and we had just gotten done doing a tasting at Woodinville Whiskey Company.. (yes, Woodinville has a whiskey distillery..) so we were looking for a place to fill our bellies. We originally were on the way to eating at Frankie's in Redmond.. but seeing as they were closed (and didnt open for another hour) we were going to drive around and look for a place to have a beer at. Low and behold... Dos, my eyes deceive me? Three Lions Pub. Lets do it!

    1. Ambiance: Definitely cool. Lots of random decorations on the wall, old world feel.. Swords, sheilds, family crests, Animal heads, Football scarves, the whole lot. Ample space, plenty of parking, bar and tables, darts and TV's.. Lots to keep the eyes preoccupied. :) 5/5

    2. Service: Quick. We took our seats at the bar, and whilst there was only one girl running the bar and the patrons sitting at tables, she was quick to take orders and get our beers to our eager hands. I asked for a Samual Smiths Strawberry beer, but alas they did not carry it.. BUT! she did offer me a sample of Strongbow Cider mixed with Black currant as a substitute. Needless to say, I ordered a big one.. See picture above. 5/5

    3. Food: Yum! We got there right at happy hour, so we were able to enjoy the $3 fish and chips and $2 onion rings. They offer lots of choices.. ranging from Pasty's filled with Beef and Kidneys, Lamb and Kidneys etc. (I might be wrong on the combinations but their website doesn't give me a working Menu link). At any rate, the food was delish! The boo and his friends were satisfied with their menu choices and would have ordered more, but we were pretty stuffed. 5/5

    4. Price: Well worth it. Aside from Happy Hour prices, their beer list is extensive and you can order just about anything.. I know my brother loves Boddington and this is the first place that i saw that serves it on tap. :) Our bill was about $25 but I left satisfied and full. They have great specials, for example they have 20% off appetizers if you wear Sounders gear when there is a match. They also have trivia days and such to keep the patrons happy. 5/5

Overall Feeling: Check it out! Maybe one day when I return to watch an away match, I'll catch someone playing old show tunes on the piano. :)

The curry sauce is only available starting much later in the afternoon and it's really worth waiting for!

Classic English pub grub plus a few additions and they will pour a black and tan with any pair you want. The fish and chips are very good, crisp and not greasy and the burgers are pretty tasty. Whenever we are in Redmond in time for lunch or dinner, we usually stop in here.

I love this place. We used to go to Neville's, which is associated with the British Pantry as well, but I was always a little creeped out by the pictures of Princess Diana everywhere and the stuffier atmosphere. Three Lions is just what we needed- it's British pub and pubfare to the core.

I usually find a beer I like and then get either fish and chips or a pie (chicken pasty, steak and mushroom, sausage roll, etc) and chips. They have lots of other options and we always save room for dessert. My boyfriend is a trifle nut and it's the only place he can find it.

They have a great happy hour (normal happy hour time and late happy hour), so don't miss that.

My other tip would be not to forget to get a curry sauce with your chips- yum!!!!

If you are offended by Chips (British Fries) that are not vegetarian or Vegan.  If blood sports like Rugby and hunting offend you.  Then please do the patrons a favor and do not patronize this fine establishment.

I'm South African who grew up in London.  I went there with an ex-pat group from SA.  Everybody liked everything.  I had the happy hour fish and chips and a couple of real 20 oz pints of Strongbow Cider.  Brilliant!.  The chips were spot on.  The service was very good on a packed busy Friday night. I also tried a custard pie and mince pie from the pantry next door, both were wonderful.  Took home a package of Bangers for breakfast tomorrow.

If you are looking for good (omnivore) Pub grub and a nice pint and lots of Telly's to watch the match this is a great spot to try.

I love this place. It is by far my favorite "pub" in the area. Any place that serves old scotches and Speckled Hen is great in my book. They also have cock and bull Ginger Beer, which is practically impossible to find!

The food? Amazing. Stilton burger is delicious. Wings are delicious. Fish and Chips are the best I've ever had.

Clean. Service is good. Rugby and Futball are almost always on the telly.

    Two things of note:
    1. The animals on the walls have been known to wear hats.
    2. Jeff the bartender is NOT British - don't let him fool you into thinking he is like he did to me! Just kidding. Jeff is great. :)

So it's an odd thing, this place.  It's not at all perfect and could stand to be better in any of the aspects (beer selection, food, and service) but yet the more than average combination of all of these makes it one of the better pubs I've been to anywhere.

As for beer selection, it's fairly good, not tap house or flying saucer kind of good, but a darn sight better than most.  Food is good, could be better but could be a lot worse, the chips were very good though.

Serivice was somewhat of a mix, the server was prompt, mindfull of the fullness of our glasses and for the most part nice but kind of unappatizing to hear the guy describe the soup of the day as "ugh" in combination with his seeming lack of knowledge of cider - but again may just be him or me.

In the end it's not got the largest beer selection or the best food, but it's the best I've seen for the combination combined with good prices and a cozy atmosphere.  If I lived around there I'd probably spend way too much time in there.

I'd love to go back and will each and every time I visit the area.

Great place to watch the World Cup. Breakfast specials, (the sausage breakfast sandwich was delicious), good service, and as another reviewer commented, really good cider.

The atmosphere was very comfortable. The volume was loud enough to hear the game, but quiet enough to let folks have conversations. I really wanted to watch the match with some fellow football fans, and I selected this pub after reading the reviews on yelp. Thanks for all your input, I had a great time!

    My absolute FAVORITE English Pub!!

Drinks:  Martinis made correctly every time & English beers on tap that are excellent - Boddingtons and Old Speckled Hen.

Atmosphere: Sports and Trivia nights are more lively than others, so you better get there early or you won't find a seat!  Nice atmosphere on any night and I go there regularly to catch up with friends.  Nice to relax by the fireplace in comfy chairs.

Food: Is absolutely authentic English.  Lancashire Pasty, Fish & Chips, Shepherds Pie and the Red Leicester Bacon Burger are my favorites and done just the way they should be.

The drinks, food & atmosphere are definitely reminiscent of the pubs in Northern England and the Midlands - Love It!!!

Wonderful, laid back place for great beer, good food, and super-friendly service. All the staff is very cool, from the smiling waitresses to the helpful bartenders.

My Girlfriend and I enjoy the Tuesday night quiz night that's a little cheezy with far too many questions about Australia, but over-all a fun time with cool prizes like beer glasses and T-shirts.

We went there for New Years eve and it was a very cool, comfortable and casual scene... Live music from a guitar duo, who's name we forgot to get, was excellent. They had real talent and a wide range of familiar songs. Even doing a respectable job of Audioslave and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.  It was like having a really fun New Years party at a close friends place.

First impression: a warm classy pub feel. It's got a nice mellow atmosphere. Of course there wasn't a big game going on. I hear it gets a bit hopping then.  I could totally see coming here for a "work meeting." It's classy, quiet but not uptight. This is where you get a mix of the younger crowd coming to drink and play darts.. and older folks coming to eat a bit and drink.

Beer: they have a few rotating taps.. It's a decent selection of beers. A little bit for everyone.  I'm personally am a fan of cask beers; which apparently they open a cask every wednesday and keep it open until it's gone. (or something like that)

Food: it's pretty good. I got their spicy wings.. Perfect with a boddington cream ale. They do a good job on the wings and don't over do the Tabasco.. Can't stand hot wings where they think Tabasco = heat. Tabasco  = vinegar.. Thankfully they pull it off well here. Of course not as well as hooters. They have all the common english fair like shepards pie, fish and chips and pasties (not PASTRIES)

Something odd is in the men's bathroom there's a deer butt. At least I think that's what it is.. I had to do a double take.. kind of funny.

It can be hard to find a place to sit on a Friday night, but this is a fun place to hang out. Service is decent, not as good as what you find next door. It's a good choice if you need a drink in Redmond!

Any food you order here is going to be really good, since it comes from British Pantry next door. That's a HUGE reason to check this place out. :D

Food and service are good, beer is large and cold, and they always have some futbol game on!  Went here for very long lunches during the world cup and they filled up nicely and had a good atmosphere.  It's not George and Dragons, it's cleaner and has better food!  Will definitely be back to eat, drink, and be merry at another futbol match!

Went here on our never-ending quest to find the perfect once a week hang out.  Their drinks are pretty well priced, they have Strongbow cider on tap, which is the perfect hard cider.  Especially for me who cannot stand the taste of anything beer-like.  It's perfectly sweet and perfectly tart and perfectly bitter.  No squinchy face!!  Anyway.

I ordered the salmon and cream cheese appetizer.  Really good, yum yum!  The BF ordered the mini-Kobe Beef Burgers.  They looked cute and yummy.  Friend ordered the cheese, fruit and cracker app. - yummy cheese, yummy crackers, grapes and apple.  Friend's hubby ordered bangers and mash.  He said the mashed potatoes were probably the best he's had in a long time.

The decor and the vibe are great for an English-style pub.  Nice little deer with a bowler hat, and a ram with a scarf.  (I like the ram, since I'm an Aries..)

We will come back here again, but we want to find something more in the middle of both of our houses.  If we can't find anything else, we'll come here.

(Watch out for the anorexic waitresses, though.)

Cool little pub in the middle of Redmond. The atmosphere is laid back but sit awhile and have a few beers and the patrons can get rowdy in a good way!

Food is decent but I come for the drinks, its a little bit of everything!

First time I've been here was for dinner last night. Had the Fish N Chips and they were great (see the uploaded picture of that). Not as good as the ones I've had in Kentucky of all places (http://snurl.com/3io0k). :)

Ooh, and they had Strongbow on tap!

Nice clean atmosphere, and they have a menu that i'd like to explore more of (my buddy had the bangers n mash, and that looked awesome).

This pub hits the spot. Very authentic, and welcoming - it's a chummy place.

The food is always made to order, but to have the full menu of choices go in after 4pm. Fish and Chips and Ginger Beer are favorites of mine, but there is no shortage of brews and spirits of all kinds. Pub fair done right.

Even on St. Patrick's Day, I was still served quickly and with great enthusiasm despite a sizable crowd.

LOVE this place.  Love, love, love.

My wife and I first discovered the Three Lions when we moved out here and were searching for a place to live.  The pub was dead on a Sunday afternoon, but our waitress was friendly and attentive.  The British pub food is delicious (likely much better than in England itself), with some of the best chips I've ever had, and an awesome selection of beers on tap.  Our waitress ended up directing us to where we live.

Since then, I've been back multiple times to watch Formula 1 and have a snack.  The staff and owners are all friendly, the crowd is lively, and the drink consistently good.  Lots of great stuff (Boddington's, Tetley's, Stella, etc) on tap and in a bottle.

The food is British food: unhealthy comfort food. However, unhealthy food done right can be delicious. The food prices are reasonable, too.

Along with the great selection of beer, this place definitely is somewhere I'd return. They had three different IPAs when I went and they were willing to let me sample all 3 free of charge.

I really like to visit this bar on an eastside visit. They have old speckled hen on tap, yum and good english bar food. They play all the soccer games if you're looking to watch and have a great dart board section for games. I was there once for the 'testicle festival' where if you took down some rocky mountain oysters you went home the proud owner of a pretty rad t-shirt! And next door the British pantry has great imported foodstuffs and other items if you're missing the UK or even if you've never been!

If you are a poser and looking for some hip and pumping place?  Then move on because this is not it.  If you are looking for a great selection of beer, then this is the place.  They have numerous beers on tap bolstered with an additional selection of bottled beers.

It is a British pub with a relatively simple menu that varies from the simple Fish and Chips.  British Pub means that they are called chips not fries.  Some of the other selections on the menu are:  Stilton Burger, Smoked Salmon, Steak and Kidney Pie and finally Bangers and mash.

Then there are the big screens, normally showing soccer, rugby, cricket or Formula One motor racing.  If you do not like to see passionate soccer fans who are really into supporting their teams.

Enjoy.  Definitely one of the better watering holes on the Eastside.

This used to be our neighborhood pub, and well, we really miss it (sniffle).

My favorite things about Three Lions: Awesome selection of beer, good dinner menu with British food and DESSERT, cozy place to hang out (comfy chairs near the faux fireplace are great on a rainy night), great place to watch a soccer game, Trivia Night, Jeff and Nigel the bartenders, Chips and Curry....and a full bar!

It can get very crowded on weekends, especially if there's a big game on. There is parking on both sides of the building, so drive around the "loop" if you don't find a spot.

Say "Hi" to Jeff and Nigel for me! :D

What can you say....Of course Guinness on tap and a good Black and Tan but the best part about this place is it's one of the few bars anywhere that still has REAL dart boards.  I'll be back to check out the food soon.

This place has really great chicken wings and amazing beer.
Not so happening even on weekend though.

The service was really good. And the beer glass was huge.
    Newcastle ale was really amazing.

I happen to go on weekend evening so no live football.

I would definitely go there again and check out how is noise level when any spanish team kicks ass of london teams :)
