Veggies/fruits are very cheap. Bought @ least 9 items and it only came up to be $4.25 minus the $.05 you get for using your own reusable bag. Out of the 9 items none of them total more than $1.00 which is always good.

The staff and the people are friendly and will help you out for items. That's a plus.

Open 24 hours.  Great corner location with tons of foot and vehicular car traffic.  Tons of street parking available.  Takes credit card no matter the amount purchased.  Well organized and plentiful of fruits.  Decent selection of vegetables, drinks, bread, cookies, nuts, et al.

Conveniently located and can't miss.  Prices are reasonable.  That's all folks.

In the passage of my Easter 2012 travels, I explore these guys from Brooklyn.  Albeit, at first I was hesitant to learn who these three guys were.

I usually do not shop at markets like Three Guys, but this is an exception as there are many options beyond the restrictions of the usual realm of Mets or Key Food.  This grocery market who offers reasonable prices which I needed to attain a hospitality contribution.  The Italian Hero loaves of bread are fresh with a special of 2 for $1.09.  Aisles are well organized and well stocked as staff is active to maintaining the upkeep both outdoor and indoor floor space.  The veggies and fruits appear unscathed, yet fresh.

Three Guys From Brooklyn sits conveniently on Fort Hamilton Parkway in Brooklyn nearest the N train.  N.B.  As per my sales receipt, they operate 24/7 with a very limited return policy.

This might be the best place in all of BK for fresh, cheap veggies.  It's not a one-stop shop for all your grocery needs, but when it comes to produce, this place is bursting at the seams.

Some don't like the organized chaos, but to me it means there's a lot of turnover and therefore food is fresh.  And if you watch the employees, they bust their butts to keep things stocked and clean.

I love Three Guys!  I don't love Three Guys when it's a Saturday or Sunday and all of the surrounding neighborhoods are fighting you for the best produce but I still love Three Guys!

In order to avoid this dilemma, I go to Three Guys during off hours and sometimes they are just restocking fresh items (see it does pay to be up in the middle of the night!) Prices are higher for some items than La Bella and lower on others but overall the prices can't be beat.

It's great having some interesting produce finds here too that you may not find anywhere else.  Get email and text notifications for specials, they don't bombard you with notifications but let you know the good deals.

This place can be overwhelming. It's always packed full of hassled Brooklynites of every stripe shopping as ruthlessly as possible. The produce is very cheap, even for the Outer Boroughs; save for Yuppie Import Markets, you'll almost always save 20% on produce, milk & meats just by going across the East River - even within franchise chains...also the vast majority of the produce comes from the Hub in Hunts Point anyway, so it's just a matter of ease of access..For example Parsley here is 59 cents a bunch. It's usually 1-1.25 everywhere else in BK. Upstate at Wegmans, it's 1.99. Per friggin bunch. A large papaya here will run me $5-$7, upstate, if it's in stock (two weeks a year too versus always here) it'll cost me $10-$12. I got a box of 24 figs for $7 here, and at Wegmans they were FOUR for $3.50. I can go on all night.

Besides being the living embodiment of 3rd world-style havoc, 3 Guys is sensible at night & early in the morning on weekdays. The quality is on average probably a 6/10 however, honestly.

If you know how to look for your fruit & veg and are patient & willing to come at odd hours, you can save buckets of money by shopping here. But do not attempt to make it into a one-stop shop, please. Just because the hasidic owners like to stock Jordan Almonds, Nuts & canned Dolma doesn't mean you should buy anything aside from Produce & maybe Milk or Eggs here. I've never seen brand-name anything.

More than a fruit market. Not only does Three Guys carry gorgeous fresh produce on par with Manhattan Fruit Exchange but at way-outer-borough prices, the back of the store is lined with coolers containing eggs, cheese, milk and juice. There is also a section providing Italian basics like pasta and Parmesan and prosciutto and a top-notch olive bar that includes stuffed grape leaves and excellent garlic dill pickles. In fat, it was the heady pickle smell that led me to the olive bar. A lot of places, even Jewish places, have garlic dill pickles that are really half-sours but these are done all the way and delicious.  Between Three Guys, St. Anthony's, Yore Meat Market and Rocco's Famous, Dyker Heights residents have no need whatsoever for Whole Foods and that makes this neighborhood awesome.

Love this place. Been coming here for years, but felt a need to review with my recent http://Amazon.com deal (it was $10 for $20, I believe). They actually had a clipboard with a print-out of people who ordered the deal, but still managed to find and check off my name quickly.

For fresh produce at great prices, you can't beat Three Guys from Brooklyn. There's a reason it's been around for so long!

This place offers produce at such affordable prices and consistently too.
Some produce are outside with signs and workers coming out to re-organize or re-stock the display of goods. (Note, sometimes it smells outside. Could be from the old stock or garbage, but it can get bad)
Inside, it can get cramped, but as long as you know what you want, just stick to your path. Dairy station is usually stocked and orderly. Veggies and fruits look unbruised and relatively fresh.
There are a number of cashier lanes available, you just need to find the one that you will get to the earliest (kind of a fun game actually, sometimes it's like gambling and lucking out on the lane).

A pleasant place to come to to pick up produce and grocery shopping for the cheap prices.

and THANKLESS, I truly believe their favorite pastime is to nibble where it hurts, my beloved WALLET!!!

If it wasn't for the Three Guys, I think I would have opted to cook my rabbits and make yummy rabbit stew (jk) but luckily, I don't have to resort to such morbid behavior! Instead, I can shop here and buy all the goodies that their little fuzzy heart desires.

The fruits and veggies here are super fresh. It's usually very crowded on the weekend, but it's expected since the prices here at the Three Guys are super low and it's open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. =:3

So next time if you're in the neighborhood, you might wanna consider hopping over and gorge yourself, like my bunnies does, in natures natural delights!

Diamond in the rough alert! Cheapest vegetables ever!!! And they're not like the old vegetables that someone threw out that's being resold like it is in so many parts of Chinatown. These vegetables are actually fresh!

2 pounds of celery for 40 cents! 5 pounds of potatoes for a buck. I have no clue what to do with these things. But at least my fridge looks full now. They also have an olive bar, with stuffed grape leaves which are delicious. I bought until I couldn't carry anymore and with my HUGE BULGING RIPPED, CUT, MUSCULAR arms, that's saying a lot. And I spent like 11 bucks on everything.

Parking's tough and it gets pretty cramped in a hurry when ur inside so be warned.

I love this fruit heaven in my new 'hood, and i even love the hours of their operation 7/24.  You can find almost all seasonal fruits, they're alot more fresh to their competitor Circus farm a few blocks away. I have to go w the quality of my fruit.  Their price is very reasonable. It's not just fruits, they sell varieties of other groceries ranging from bread, fresh coffee, milk, some dairies, and dry foods.

I've been shopping here for twenty years, it was more convenient when I worked on the lower east side, its got good solid prices,
but I agree with most people its overcrowded except late at night, and it is one of the most wheelchair unfriendly stores I've ever been in,
the aisles are constantly stacked with boxes, only the cash register all the way to the right is wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair and due to the throngs of people the management staff is generally not that nice, so it generally is a great deal, but not if your in a wheelchair

My favorite place for veggies and fruit. The produce is usually fresh and is priced very reasonably. There's even weekly sales on certain items.

They have a nice little olive bar towards the back of the store. Also a decent selection of fine cheeses. Cheap prices for Italian bread and pitas. They even have dried fruit and nuts sold boxed by the pound.

This place can be pretty crowded during the weekends. Weeknights are the best time to shop. They're opne 24/7.

This place has a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, herbs and other assorted items like nuts and olives.

I don't often come here but when I do, I buy a lot of items for a very reasonable price.

I went today and bought peaches that they had on sale.  $0.49 a pound.  I bought almost 9 pounds of peaches for less than 5 bucks...

I saw that they also sold fresh almonds...I never seen fresh almonds in my life...(well last week I did when I was in Jamaica.  They had almond trees around the resort which was cool.  Had I known earlier, I would have picked them and tried to open it.)

This place is a must go to for fresh produce...

Great, great, GREAT prices!  When I tell friends in Manhattan what I pay for limes and lemons, their mouths hang agape.  When I tell friends in Park Slope what I pay for basil, their mouths hang agape.  When I tell friends in Michigan what I pay for red peppers, their mouths hang agape.  When I tell friends in Oregon what I pay for shallots, their mouths hang agape.

Also great selection, exotic fruits such as ume, cheap eggs and cheese (though selection is not great, but when the hell was the last time you paid $5 for a pound of brie?!?!?!), and spices and bread and nuts.

I think my bargain-hunting mother gets most of her fruits and veggies here. My little sister loves mini croissants, and my mom usually buys it from there because of sales.

Because it's not as big and spacious as a supermarket, people will be bumping into each other and you will be saying "excuse me" a lot. [unless you go when there is seriously nobody there]

3 Guys has been around for over 30 years. When you drive past this place you cant help but notice the swarms of people picking out their fresh fruit and vegetables and its all so cheap. You enter the store and theres many more vegetables to choose from along with many international and kosher foods. They even have an olive bar...my boyfriend LOVED this.
Spent $35 and came home with about 10 bags worth of groceries. Love this place!

Freakin New Yorkers are flipping lucky as all hell! This was my first stop on my grocery shopping for the week. Yeah, i live in Boston, but i just happened to be in the area and my friend took me here and holy crap!

The produce is plentiful, peppers of various colors, shapes and sizes. Cherries (wicked cheap!), Peaches (never seen them at 50 cents a lb), Jicama, olives, half sour pickles, turkish bread!

The prices are comparable with a store we have called Market Basket (just a chain grocery store), but 3 Guys has a lot more produce that you cant find everywhere, and a lot of the prices for certain things were cheap.

I started outside, filled many bags with various fruits and veggies, made my way inside and filled more with veggies, pickles, bread and cheese. Checkout was fast, and there weren't that many people inside, which made everything quicker.

I too, wish 3 Guys was closer to my apartment, by about 200 miles.

PS. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This  is 100% unheard of for us new englanders.

PSS. With the large variety of foods, you probably won't even spend that much, I was shocked at how cheap my bill was.

Being open 24 hours is amazing,
    the produce selection is amazing,
    the prices are amazing,
there is no wait to get rung up even if they're busy....overall just great!

I really can't say enough nice things about them. Last night I walked out of here with 3 heavy bags of food for only $17. They also have all sorts of fancy snacks, coffee, and specialty food along with the produce. I just went in to pick up some bread, OJ, and grapes and ended up buying all sorts of fun things that I can't wait to cook with.

Hooray for Three Guys. You are doing everything right.

As a California lad dreaming of the many benefits of what New York could offered I often dreamt of emporiums of every conceivable item (food, women, musical instruments, bongs etc etc) offering insane varietals of any and all types. This might have been based on my first visit to NYC in which I went to Zabars and Condomanium-it may have skewed my view of NYC a little.

And as I become a Brooklynite 3 Guys from Brooklyn give me a small glimpse of that vision.

Rows and rows of fruit and vegetables fresh and incredible prices. With so many varietys (eggplant alone I have counted 6 different on a given day) it has expanded my diet to include everything from sicilian eggplant, broccoli rabe, dandilions, oyster mushrooms and black radishes.

also has a nice dairy, olive, sundries, and bread sections

A great place to mix it up with your many neighbors Orthodox Jews, Spanish, Chinese, Itlaian, Greeek, Russian, Irish - everybody

I used to work a few block away and I would always stop by to buy fruits and veggies.  What's great about this place is that they never close.  I used to find myself driving home early in the morning from partying all night and stopping to pick up fruits.  They even have an olive bar!  The prices are great and they have a great selection of fruits.  If you have a little kid who needs to use the bathroom, they don't allow that so go across the street to Rite Aid.

When I lived in NY, I absolutely refused to get my fruits/veggies from any other store.  I'd trek all the way up from Shore Road to get stuff here because of the prices and selection. The convenience factor (open 24/7) is huge too.

One of the greatest things about this place is that for those of us who like to do canning, they often run sales and promos for large quantities of things like cukes (for pickles) and fruits (for jams and jellies).  Even if they're not running a special, the owners are very willing to work out a deal with you.

This is THE place to get fresh fruits and veggies, if only it weren't an hour away from my apartment.

If you haven't figured it out already, I'm on a fresh produce kick since A) I have no money and B) I really should be eating healthier (aka: no White Castle ever again). 3 Guys satisfies my needs and then some. With the motto "the poor guy's friend," or something along those lines, they ain't kidding. This place is probably the size of the Union Square Trader Joe's, is open 24 hours a day, takes all credit cards, and always has amazing deals. Be sure to check out the site for the weekly circular and snag those $0.49 a pound peaches before they disappear!

Amazing selection, cheap produce, and fast service.  Choose a time when it's not mobbed.  It's open 24 hours, so take your pick.  The produce should be used within a few days, but who cares?  It's fresh and ready to eat.

I don't think the store packaged items are that great a deal, but you make up for it with everything else.  It's a lot cleaner and more organized than Circus Fruits.  It's worth the extra few blocks of walking.

This is by no means the produce emporium I was dreaming of.  The prices are good, but no better than fairway and there is far less selection.  Now, maybe it's not fair to compare any grocer to fairway, but so long as we've got them, they're my standard at least. Hmmph.

And there's very little to speak of beyond the produce here.  I'm sure it's great if you live nearby but I would not recommend making a special trip.

I come for the fresh produce that is always at a good price (but of course it depends a lot on the season). They even have exotic fruits and veggies that you don't normally find elsewhere.

It's a little-known fact about me that I rarely admit when I'm disappointed.

Having said that, 3 Guys left me a little underwhelmed.

Maybe it's because I'm spoiled by Rossman's produce market in Sunset Park -- it's bigger, slightly cheaper, has a ton more products and is also open 24 hours.

I also found it weird that while 3 Guys had tons of jams and preserves -- and that the place was seemingly overrun by jars of Nutella -- asking if they carried peanut butter was met with a blank stare. Huh. Really? I mean, you have an olive bar and a gourmet cheese section. I don't think it's that strange of a question.

But ours is not to reason why, I suppose.

My favorite stuff is all inside.  The olive bar, the dried fruits and dates and figs and such, all the nuts.  Great variety of unusual stuff in there.  Good farm yogurt sometimes, too.

I need to ask if anyone has seen this:  an older, completely masculine fellow who crossdresses and mingles in the 3 Guys crowd.  Anyone hep to this guy? Damndest thing.  There he was -- cockeyed wig, makeup, skirt, sweater.  He was totally not trying to 'pass' as female, just putting on women's clothes, steeling up his nerve, and shopping for melon at 3 Guys from Brooklyn.  I assume he's well-known there because no one paid him any regard at all.

I must say I found blueberries cheaper yesterday at Steve's C-Town.

This is my go-to place for groceries amid the questionable freshness of the Chinese supermarkets. Since they are open 24/7, it's quite convenient for those who come home late from work.

The tomatoes were ok, I had a hard time finding some fresh ones (but maybe because it was late in the day?).

I think the prices here are more or less unbeatable, but the crowds, even around 6-7pm make it almost impossible to navigate the catty-cornered aisles (especially when a Russian in a cowboy hat takes FOREVER to pick out a daikon radish, probably picking one to put up his bum later).

Otherwise, this place is nice and not too far and the prices are extremely reasonable. I got away with two heavy sacks of groceries for under $15.

You will find parking at the park one block away and then you can use their shopping carts.  Parking right outside the store is near impossible unless you go in the middle of the night.  Avoid peak hours and weekends : )

And yes they are open even during blizzards!!
