While working in the D.C. area for the Presidential Inauguration, we visited this establishment many times. No, we didn't drive waaaayyyy out there; our warehouse was simply nearby.

Coming from the Italian side of Chicagoland, I am always searching for that place that remind me of home. Three Brothers gets it right. I tried everything from the Italian beef, pizza, salads...you name it, and they know how to tease the taste buds. Their pizza has a nice thick hand-tossed style with plenty of sauce and cheese to satisfy any addict of the za.

Many times we ordered ahead; we found our order to be ready hot, and ready to go with plates, napkins and utensils.

What makes this place special?

Upon entering, you can't help to notice the many coolers containing more fresh Italian cheeses and meats by the pound. This place bakes their own traditional style Italian cookies. As well as, other cookies from various regions of Europe. Ok, just one more... C is for cookie...ahh, you get the point.

Also, if you head to the left, there is a little aisle area that has enough sundries to make any Italian meal in the cookbook. The owners were present and they employee persons with disabilities. Overall, this place provides excellent customers service, even better food and is inclusive. Why spend you hard earned money at a chain or franchise?

There is enough seating for an entire football team and their fans. There is a lunch area and a more darken dinner area. You can stop by anytime and get your food hot and fast.

When in Bladensburg, do as they do and go to Three Brothers Pizza!

Hey there third brother, I hate to be the one to break this to you, but you're adopted. How else can I possibly explain how horrible your food is compared to your other 2 brothers?

Food - The marinara at this Three Brothers is far worse than what you'll find at their other locations, as it's very thick and lacks the perfect blend of zesty and sweet I'm used to. The chicken diablo ($9.99) over linguine was very poor. Although the linguine was perfectly cooked, the sauce was bland and it had nothing but chicken strips - the chicken diablo is supposed to include sauteed veggies. The linguine w/ red clam sauce ($10.99) was also subpar compared to the other locations. We also ordered mozzarella sticks ($5.49) and it's pretty hard to mess those up. Still, I like sticks b/c they are an excellent tool for transporting large amounts of tasty marinara to my mouth. When that marinara sauce is some trash, however, the sticks are no good.

The only redeeming part of the meal, and good enough for 1/2 a star, was the pepperoni and sausage pizza ($2.09+ 0.40/topping). The toppings were great enough that you didn't notice the subpar sauce.

The other 1/2 star is for the amazing refrigerated desserts. The prices range from $2-$4 and most everything I've tried is very rich and tasty. I used to get the eclairs every single time I went but then I watched Van Wilder and I can no longer eat eclairs. Curse you, Ryan Reynolds! Not only did you ruin eclairs for me, but Scarlett Johansson too!

Location - There's an Italian market that is attached to the restaurant where you can find most any ingredient for Italian food you would need (http://www.yelp.com/bi...). For the restaurant, you order at the counter and there is a large dining area. There's also a bar/lounge located in the back that has several large TVs.

If you're in the area--and I don't know why you would be in this industrial wasteland now that the Kwik-E-Mart is just a 7-11--this is a decent choice for Italian food and a quick, moderately priced lunch. But I would recommend driving 5 miles up Kenilworth Ave and going to the Three Brothers in Beltway Plaza Mall.

I have been looking for an authentic pizza place in the DC area since I moved here almost five years ago.  I found it in Three Brothers in Bladensburg.  This old fashioned pizza joint is part pizzeria and part Italian market.  The pizza is delicious.  Thin Crust with just the right amount of cheese and not too much oil.  Desserts are really good too.  I would recommend the cannolli or the Chocolate mousse cake.

This location has take-out in the front and a sit down area with table service in the back.  If you are in the area and craving pizza, you could do a lot worse than Three Brothers.
