KUDO'S to Dr. Thornquist......You have been a diligent and great doctor who has not sold himself out, I bring my kids in and they recieve the same awesome care I have seen you cater to your patients. I never heard another complain about you in person nor online til now....I have spent some time waiting in your office but was entertained by myself, magazines, books and my ipod...knowing that I will recieve the same personal care as others. I was in his office just a couple of weeks ago, got a h. pylori test and am now on the road to recovery....he does listen to patients concerns, makes educated suggestions and tailors a program, procedure or medications that fit you, your lifestyle and includes your input. I have never, ever felt uncomfortable or ill-at-ease in his office or with his instruction. You truly are a blessing, Dr. Thornquist!!!!

Dr. Thornquist is an older doctor with many years of experience. My overall impression of his office is that he comes into the office late and doesn't consider the patient's time valuable. The longest I've waited is an hour just to be put into a patient room. His staff is very curteous, always apologetic for his tardiness. Dr. Thornquist isn't a "thorough" doctor. He tends to assume the problem and from what other patients have told me, he tends to prescribe the same thing to each patient he sees (steroids, narcotics, etc.). I would not recommend this doctor to anyone who has addiction issues. I also wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone who doesn't have the patience to wait to see a doctor. Dr. Thornquist has a pleasant personality but I don't feel he has his patient's best interests at heart.
