Thomas Kinkade Galleries of Carmel and Monterey
1 review for Thomas Kinkade Galleries of Carmel and Monterey
After eating bad crab cakes, fudge, and some cotton candy on Cannery Row, what could settle your aching tummy better than a visit to the wonderland of Thomas Kinkade paintings. His cottages and lighthouses glow from within as if a portal to hell was just past the threshold.
Kinkade sells franchises of these galleries. I'm not sure who's getting taken for a ride - the connesewers who buy Kinkade's paintings or the franchisees.
I doubt Steinbeck intended to celebrate overpriced art for grandmothers in his novels.
