Thomas Kinkade Capitola Gallery
2 reviews for Thomas Kinkade Capitola Gallery
Yikes!!! This stuff is so bad that I wouldn't use it to decorate my dog's house. There are some people that just love this stuff--well, let 'em--it probably has to match their sofa from Levitz. For the price of just one of these saccharine monstrosities, you can buy several one-of-kind REAL original works of art available from the many artists in our area of the Monterey Bay.
PEOPLE--take an art appreciation class or visit an URBAN art museum. Learn what makes art have life, have a soul, evoke an honest emotion.
I'm talking to the wall. The ones who need to learn what real art are too busy reading romance novels, while watching a soap opera, while eating Russel Stover bonbons, while listening to Barry Manilow, while waiting for the headcheese to defrost for dinner, while a breeze cuts through the Winstons' smoke in their trailer. (Did I insult enough people?) :-)
Sears had Vincent Price (old timey horror/melodramatic actor--the original "Fly") as a buyer for original art for he was re-known as a connoisseur. It was a success. People were able to buy wonderful pieces for reasonable prices and some of it increased in value (not like Kinkade's stuff ever will). We're talking Miro, Picasso, etc. Maybe Steve Martin could do the same now--Help Us Steve!!!

Couldn't pay me to walk into this gallery. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck.
I take better dumps than some of this stuff.
Sorry TK lovers out there...
