Wow. I just came from a massage here and am still in awe. Seriously.
Especially considering I've been searching for a good massage therapist for several months since moving back to Chicago from Portland and this place is only two miles from me. After about four months without a massage, I went to Chicago Touch only a week ago and my experience was so completely awful that I needed to go again.
This was SO good that halfway through my hour massage I asked if there was any way to extend it to 90 minutes. Cindy said she would ask another girl if she could continue for another 30 minutes--she could. And Jordana might have even been more amazing. I had a deep tissue/Swedish combination and they primarily worked on my IT band and neck/shoulder areas. They were really professional, sweet, thorough, responsive, and STRONG. I completely recommend this place.
This is fun Spa where a man can feel comfortable going. I always bring my Girlfriend there for the couples massage. Good Energy there!
Really please with the atmosphere at this neighborhood spa. I went with a friend on a Sunday afternoon and it was quiet and relaxing. The hours are great - how could you NOT find a time to get in. The owner is really nice and the products are all top notch. I had a manicure and she made my sad hands look great. I will definitely be back!
I want to like this place even after several times of going but I would really like it if they didn't charge you for using their steam room for $10 for 20 minutes! At Heavenly Massage in Morton Grove if you get a massage the steam room is complimentary.
The massages are good but would not recommend the mani/pedi. The lady who did my mani/pedi the two different times I had, did a strange unconventional way of removing my old nail polish. She used a nail file to file away the polish! I had to tell her to stop it and use nail polish remover and then she was really rough with the way she filed my nails and pushed my cuticles too hard.
I've gone here because I get gift certificates from my family plus it's close to home and convenient but I would like to try other massage places hopefully near home because I feel like mush and so relaxed afterward all I want to do is nothing! :o)
Price was good, but massage was mediocre at best. I asked for combination Swedish/Deep tissue massage. Told her where I was in need of work. She proceeded to gring her elbows into my back. Skinny little young Polish girl - not enough hand/arm strength, so she used elbows. I think next time I'll just ask the gorgeous receptionist to oil me up and rub me down for an hour. Now that sounds like fun! Heck, I'd be happy to return the favor even!!!
To prepare for the new job, my friend and I decided to indulge in a full body massage. We found a special, $50 for an hour. Whoooo-hooo!!! You can't get a massage for less than $110 in SF, so I was excited. I'm not counting the cheap-y Chinese places where you can hear the women squawking at each other in the neighboring rooms. It's not Burke Williams, but it definitely had a nice ambiance and my masseuse Anna was great! Her hands were strong, and It was painful, but a good pain.
