I was looking for a storage bed for my teenage son. Everything I saw in the furniture stores was either cheaply made, expensive, or too big for our space. I found the Wood Furniture Factory on line and they were able to build just what I wanted at a reasonable cost.
Now we have a very well made, handsome looking platform bed with a bookcase headboard that didn't break the bank. We were able to pick out the color and style of the piece. The work was completed on time.
These guys really care about their craft. I encourage anyone who needs a piece of furniture to visit the factory. I think you will be really impressed. We love our new bed. -

We would give this place 10 stars if we could!
My boyfriend and I searched for months to find the perfect solid wood dresser and night stand. We were shocked because everywhere we shopped all we could find were laminate pieces that were ridiculously expensive! Surprisingly, not even Ethan Allen had solid wood furniture.
After almost giving up, my boyfriend did a Google search for solid wood furniture and miraculously found The Wood Furniture Factory. So we paid a visit to the store, which is really cool because you can actually see them making the furniture. As soon as we saw the furniture, we knew we had come to the right place - everything was beautiful and no laminate to be found! We thought it was way too good to be true, that the prices must be high, but were pleasantly surprised - they are about half the price of the stuff in Ethan Allen.
We ordered the solid maple dark-stained dresser in the picture above (the one with the bear), and the night stand. The owners, Bret and Raymond, are super friendly and helped us figure out how to customize our piece, and Bret actually builds the furniture (oh, he delivered it too ;-). They customized the color to match my bed and it was perfect - they have over 30 stains/colors to choose from. Coolest of all, Bret left a little note for my boyfriend and I and signed the inside of one of the drawers.
This is the type of furniture that you are going to pass down and that will last forever. We are SO glad we found the Wood Furniture Factory. We will definitely be back!!!!!!!

The Wood Furniture Factory's story began when owners Bret Qua and Raymond Mendoza recognized a need for Solid Wood Furniture in San Diego. The influx of cheaply made imported furniture created a void for the discriminating consumer that chooses to buy quality made, real wood furniture, built to last from generation to generation.
We use only hand-selected woods, traditional methods of construction and have the latest technology to insure that the furniture that we make is top quality. Our goal here at The Wood Furniture Factory is to not just build furniture for today, but to build furniture that will last for generations to come.
We have many standard designs to choose from, and we can also assist you with your custom orders. Whether you need a simple bookcase, home theater or an entire library setup, we can build you exactly what you want.

Meet the Business Owner: Bret Q.
Bret, a native San Diegan, started off as a teen working in his father's shop, later rising to manage the 50,000 sq. ft. plant (exclusively manufacturing unfinished furniture).
