When I first arrived at The Whistler on a Saturday night, we had to stand in line outside.  This turned me off a bit, and we seriously considered leaving and heading elsewhere, but within a couple of minutes, we were let inside.

I was really surprised at how small the space is.  And of course, there were a lot of people inside, but I never felt really cramped.  Eventually, my friend and I even managed to snag a seat at the bar.  Sure, it takes a little while to get your drinks, especially on a busy night, but that's because it's just two guys behind the bar mixing things up for you.  They are super friendly, and even will let you know that it will be a few minutes.  I appreciated that.  The drinks themselves were awesome.  They use some really nice ingredients, including fresh fruits and herbs.  A friend of mine noticed that one of the barkeeps was slicing some cucumber, but there wasn't a drink on the menu that had that.  She asked him what he was making, and it was actually one of their summer drinks, and happily mixed one up for her.  She instantly fell in love.

We were there for some 90's night fun with a couple of dj's.  It was a lot of fun, and I even got up and did some dancing.  Which says a lot because I can probably count the number of times that I've willingly done that at a bar on one hand.

Come here if you don't mind waiting a bit to get in, don't mind small spaces with a good deal of people, a laid-back place to hang out, and pretty awesome drinks.

Here is what happened to me at the Whistler........I said to the nice bartendar man person.  "Bartender Man Person, I do not see the flavors I like on the menu, can you make me something that is smokey, with honey and lavendar and perhaps some dill?"  and he did, and I fell in love.....with the drink.

I feel at home here. It's chill, it's pretentious, but not really.

I am sorry, i am aware this review does not help someone who is looking for a new hotspot..... i admit it is a selfish review.

The Whistler is to Violet Hour as Logan Square is to Wicker Park. It's a little cheaper, a little smaller, a little less posh...

$8 fancy cocktails aren't bad, but waiting a long time for the single bartender to mix them stinks. I just wanted a beer and had to wait about 30 minutes for someone to fetch me a bottle on a Saturday night. The DJ was playing Stone Temple Pilots as well. What self-respecting DJ would play STP on a Saturday night in Logan Square?

The decor is bland. The stage is cute, though I'm not sure it's a great place to see a band play unless it's solo acoustic or the like.

The back patio looked nice, but was closing when I arrived.

Go to the Whistler on a weeknight for best results.

I love the Whistler.  As a poor college grad with refined taste, it's hard to find a place that I can afford and still have a good drink.  The Whistler has an amazing cocktail selection and a team of knowledgeable bartenders that can whip up anything at the drop of a hat to suit your tastes.  Cocktails are usually around $6 and are worth every penny.  And let's not forget, no matter if it's music or readings being held at the Whistler it's always free!
The only drawback is that this place does attract a lot of hipsters.  This isn't a bad thing, but it can feel a little pretentious and art schooly at times.  But hey, knock back a couple of those cocktails and will you really care?

The Whistler charges $8 for signature cocktails, gets packed really quickly and is near the Blue Line.

Here's what that means to you: It's a great place to meet with friends early in the night, have two quick drinks for social lubrication, then it's off to hit the town.

Anything else will leave you broke, waiting a long time for a drink and incapable of dancing.

For fall drinks, I highly recommend the Shoulder Season, even if you don't like tequila. And if you get hungry, El Charro across the street has free (sorta burnt) chips and salsa. My date and I ate for less than the price of a cocktail at The Whistler.

Yay! I'm a fan.

I went here awhile ago on a date and it was a lot of fun, save for the pretentious hipsters that flood the bar after 10pm. The music is loud, and the place is packed but its got reasonably priced drinks, with the bartenders wearing throwbacks to speakeasy days. The decor is kinda jumbled together though. The front of the building is a store front, inside, at one corner has some mix-matched tables where the DJ hangs out, but then off to the right is the bar that looks squeaky clean and new. The decor could use some work to bring everything together, but overall the place is cool.

AND they know how to make an awesome classic cocktail; the infamous blood and sand. Good times

The Whistler is a fun place to meet friends for a couple inexpensive tasty drinks.  Is it hipster?  Yes.  Loud music? Check! As good as The VH?  Yes and no.

Yes, the drinks are similar.  Not as tasty as VH but damn less expensive.  The atmosphere here is way more casual and more like a neighborhood bar but with hand crafted cocktails.  No worries though, they still have the hipster standby of PBR. In a can.

Good location, good drinks, decent atmosphere, nice on the wallet.

Ok.  So, as you've no doubt read, this bar is kind of like Violet Hour's more laid back funky little child.  And even though the owner's may be sick of hearing it, that's a compliment.  :)  It's smaller and avoids putting rules on where you need to sit and order so that's a nice change--even though I do love my Violet Hour.  The drinks are also cheaper at $8 a pop and well worth every penny for all the ingredients and care that go into them.

It also offers live music and DJs playing a very diverse ecclectic mix of non-mainstream music that attracts a certain amount of hipster.  However, I hate putting lables on things because I'm someone who just enjoys a lot of different types of music and places.

The Fall/Winter drink menu is definitely the best menu they've had so far since I've been going here.  From what me and my friends ordered I tried every drink on the menu and pretty much ALL of it was very good!  I can't remember all the names but the stand-outs for me were an Applejack Rabbit??  And I also liked The Voyager and another drink that had nutmeg in it.

Paul the bartender is very nice and knowledgeable and so are the other guys that work behind the bar.  They've always been patient and accomodating with me when I ask for suggestions.

There's decent street parking but I take away points for having to stand outside and for NOT ENOUGH SEATING inside up front.

Very cool spot to see a gig and grab a drink.  As many people have said, get here early because this place gets packed as hell if there's someone relatively popular playing and you might get stuck waiting outside.

The seasonal cocktails themselves are incredibly creative and pretty reasonably priced at $8 each.  I can't remember the name of the one I had, but it had some kind of combination of scotch, sloe gin, absinthe, honey, lemon, and a fresh rosemary garnish.  It was absolutely delicious.  The drink took a bit to come out, but it was pretty crowded in there so I can't really fault them for taking time to make a complex drink.

The minus one star is for the size of the place.  It's much smaller than I was hoping it would be and thus gets quite packed at pretty much all times.

Great music venue. I wouldn't know this place existed if I was walking down the street. No sign at all at the front.

I went on a Tuesday evening with Yelper friend Mesum and had a great time. We came in the middle of the set of L'Orchestre Super Vitesse, a group that plays classical West African music. I loved it because the music had a salsa beat to it and the crowd was dancing along. The drinks are great too. I forgot what I got, but it had Applejack whiskey in it. I had two of those. They were made so well. The bartenders know what they are doing here.

Size doesn't matter.

I went to Whistler to see my friend's band play.  I really like this place. Totally unsuspecting.

Long.  Narrow.  Fabulous wood bar.  Quaint back patio adorned with festive lighting.  Colorful crowd.

Friendly and efficient bartenders.  A drink list that rivals Violet Hour... but is about $5 cheaper.  These guys performed like mad scientists behind the bar.  Grating, squeezing, measuring, mixing, and pouring. (I think my bartender was a bit thankful when I ordered two simple beers.)

Low capacity.  Go on a weeknight.

I will definitely visit again.

I was brought to the Whistler to see a friend of mine play in a Duo - violin & guitar.  I'd seen & walked by this place hundreds of times but never went in.  Let me tell you I was a fool for not going in before this.

The bar is small, but great fancy fun drinks at very reasonable prices.  They offer a great beer selection to fancy cocktails - some with whiskey while others were made with egg whites and fancy liquors.

The seating arrangement isn't the best, but overall the atmosphere is comfortable.  I'm very happy to see this bar in the Logan Square neighborhood.

It was a great place for the duo and I hope to see them play again real soon.

Be where, it does get crowded in here.  When I left at 11pm on a weekday there was a line to get in.

I don't know if the staff behind the bar were just all having a collectively bad night, but I thought it was customary to save your shitty attitude for busy nights and/or belligerent customers. Perhaps the guilt of contributing to further Chicago neighborhood gentrification was weighing heavily on their minds, but Jesus! I think our money would have been better spent at the portrait studio next door - their ability to fit multiple poses, in front of a waterfall with a butterfly, into one photo is worth more than the somewhat off-tasting tequila "cocktail" I ordered here.

Listen, I can appreciate creativity. And I can appreciate that these are good drinks (aside from my ordering mistake, the rest of my friends' drinks were really great) for less dollars than they would be anywhere else. But I still spent like $20 on two drinks (including tip) and I'd love it if someone on the staff could just make even the most minimal attempt at charm. Hmm?

In fact, everyone in the entire bar seemed pretty pissed off about something. I get it Chicago! We feel inferior to other allegedly hipper cities. But that doesn't mean we can't have a good time while trying to pretend we live in New York! Or that we can't have a little more seating in our bars, or perhaps move our candles away from hair-height. No wonder the indie rock girls in Chicago have cropped their locks - the Whistler is trying to burn their heads off!

A friend once told me something that liberated me from my hesitations about dining/drinking/being at well known "hipster establishments." This wise friend said, "I hate when people won't go somewhere based on the clientele."

Just take that in for a second. What would life feel like if you didn't  always have to evaluate and re-evaluate why you go where you go, what it says about you and your tight pants and your group of friends???!!! You would feel breathless with relief.

So, you know, don't hate on the Whistler. 8 dollar cocktails y'all. This summer I had this unearthly pink concoction--looked like it was from Barbie land, but boy, it would have knocked Barbie off her stilettos faster than you can say "pisco," uh, which is what my drink was based on.

Last time (in the fall) I got an absinthe + rye whiskey + lemon + lime + honey drink, which was actually a lot less intense than it sounds. With two drinks and tip, you've squared off at exactly $20, so if you're in the mood for cheap, don't come here. But if you're in one of those fancy moods but get dizzy thinking about the Violet Hour before you've even had a drink, then the Whistler is for you. Granted, only if you don't judge a venue by its clientele (as previously mentioned).

A note about the music: sometimes it's so loud you can't talk to other people, or hear yourself think, etc. I know that' s the plan when you hire cool people as your DJs, but it's unpleasant. A friend remarked as a famous Simon & Garkunkel tune caused our ears to bleed, "THE SOUND OF SILENCE SHOULD NEVER BE PLAYED THIS LOUD." That is not what silence sounds like, dj man.

Met a group at the Whistler for a birthday. The joint is small. There might have been 35 people in the place, and we were somehow blocking the entrance. There really isn't a place to conveniently stand and not be in someone's way to the bar or the front door.

Music: You ever get the feeling that the DJ is playing for himself and not the crowd? That was last night. I couldn't shake the feeling that the DJ wasn't aware of everyone else in the bar.

The bar: I stood at the bar for at least 10 minutes staring at the bartenders before the barback finally acknowledged me and gave me a drink menu. I say it again for emphasis -- I was trying to give them my money, and I was ignored for a ridiculously long time. I understand the mixologists are in the middle of their science, but really? I didn't even get a "be with you in a minute".

Once I got my drink, it was delicious, but I don't think I should work that hard to get a drink at 9pm.

I'm a fan of the space, the cocktails, and - generally - the music.  Service is always competent, but varies from friendly to not-unfriendly, if you know what I mean.  Still, when I'm in Logan Square, this is where I tend to meet  my friends for drinks, and it's almost always a good time.

While it's true that, lately, the waits and the attitude of the crowd have soured me a bit on the Whistler, the fact that they have the infinite good taste to give the Permanent Records crew a monthly dj spot means that, at least once a month, you'll find me at the bar.

RE: Other people's reviews

Dear Whistler,

I like you. I don't mind that you're small. I think that makes you more intimate and cozy. I'm glad that you're full of people b/c that means you are doing things right. Your crafted cocktails are quite tasty and I don't mind waiting a little longer for them because I know it takes longer to make something good.

I know people compare you to the Violet Hour and you are similar in that you both have unique crafted cocktails, but you're cheaper and more low key, so how does that make you a wannabe? If those people want Violet Hour, why don't they just GO THERE?

Anyway, thanks for being a classy, tasty, low key, high quality bar in my hood.

Love,
MB

Eeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhh, no.

A buddy of mine DJ'ed here last Friday night ,and after several months of having good intentions but never actually seeing it go down, I happened to be in the neighborhood.  Seemed perfect.  Not really.

Artificial line creation is bullshit.  Flat out fucking bullshit.  Having a 65% full bar does not force people to wait outside.  Save that crap for places where bros have non-ironic tribal tats or the West Coast.

Once we finally did get in (well, three of the five of us, not everyone was so lucky right away) I was taken aback by the fake chic look of the place.  Remember what Dana Barret's apartment (pre-Zuul takeover) looked like in Ghostbusters?  It reminded me of that but not in a good way.  It was just a poorly utilized space in all honesty.  So far 0/2.

The barkeep was quick with the service considering the mass of people angling up to it and the Pabst was $2, so they get a pass on that.  In fact that's what's keeping this from getting one star and shit-canned totally.  Inside the bar they seemed to have an actual competent staff.

The Whistler adventure lasted all of eight minutes or so though, because the door guy had some trouble with one of our party member's ID.  Rather than deal with the hassle we all just chugged down our single beer then left.  We gave our regrets to our buddy; he understood and I got going to see him out of the way.  We spent the rest of the night in the Two Way with cheaper booze, warmer decor and no unacceptable (read: non-bathroom) lines.

Came here on a Saturday night with friend's for a birthday fete.
I was excited because I heard it was sort of Violet Hour-lite.
While I did appreciate that the cocktails were hand-crafted and they were willing to make things off the menu when requested, I didn't really like any of the drinks I tasted that much (and in fact I really didn't like the one I had).
Nice sized back patio, but overall the ambience of the place didn't do much for me.
I probably won't return.

I went into the Whistler knowing nothing about it, I heard it was a dive bar....thus I was very confused to be stuck waiting outside for 20 minutes! But a friend was meeting another friend inside so I broke my "I don't do lines" mentality. The door guy was pretty nice...not the most talkative dude in the world, but okay. The bartenders were super nice and I don't know about the complaints of a wait time, I went up to the bar and got served immediately and my drinks were great, strong as f*ck, but great. I would go back, especially since there is an outdoor area to smoke! I would plan on going a little earlier though to try and avoid the lameness of waiting in line.

ive read lots of reviews with complaints and kudos about the whistler, so i'll just jump in with my own (first) experience.

#1 complaint seems to be the artificial line.  i didn't wait in line, but my friend did, for over an hour!

bartenders seemed cool to me.  i got my $2 pbr and drank them, no problem.  wherever i am, i expect to wait til the staff is done with the current customer and the next one til it's my turn, and that's what happened at  the whistler.

i heard 3 bands, each very much worth listening to, and i didn't pay a cover.

so i had a good, affordable experience and i'll go back.

I'm apparently on a roll with 3 star reviews lately, but again, despite being in a celebratory mood (the hubby's birthday) and having fabulous company, I just didn't love the place.

My drinks were tasty and the 3 hours or so we spent here cost us way less than equivalent time would have at Violet Hour, but I just wasn't wowed. I think I can't NOT compare it to VH, since it's always touted as the cheaper Violet Hour (poor man's Violet Hour?) and in that respect, it falls flat.

On it's own, well it's nice. It's fine. It's okay. But it's nowhere near my normal stomping grounds and I just wouldn't feel compelled to go out of my way to come back. So for that, it's a 3-star place for me.

I wish the bartenders were a little quicker. Or the guy that isn't really a bartender didn't stand behind the bar, making me expect them to be quicker.

If they served food, this would be my favorite bar.

We ended up here on a Sunday evening before a show at Logan Square Auditorium. I wish it were closer to our apartment, because it's one of my new favorites!

The interior is beautiful, and pretty classy, but it really maintains a laidback vibe. The bartenders were friendly, soft spoken, and mixed THE BEST cocktail I've ever had: The Bramble: Gin, Blackberry Liqueur, and Fresh Lemon... yum! $8, but worth a lot more.

They had a stage set up for live music, but we didn't stay to listen. The smooth wooden streamlined bar was the best part about the place. Dimly lit, made me want to curl up and spend the night.

Will return!

Finally, I made it out to The Whistler. Met up with a friend who came back to the states recently, and we both liked the atmosphere.

Pros:
-Great/inventive/original mixed drinks for $8.
-Cool vibe and nice decor.
-Clean bathrooms!
-Cute bartenders who are also friendly and well-dressed.
-Proximity to the Blue Line  - not everyone in Chicago can ride in a cab all night.

Cons:
-Tiny, tiny space. The back patio wasn't enough room. We got there at like 9:45pm and there were no places to sit! We managed to score a spot by the bar, but by 1030pm or 11pm, patrons were standing up against the walls and it was very odd.
-While the cocktails were great, it might have just been too fancy and I understand why people say that it's trying too hard to be like the Violet Hour.

I don't understand what kind of "crowd" it was - it was a mix of bougie clubgoers and 20-something hipsters. I also spotted a nice older couple in the corner enjoying their drinks. Diverse crowds can't be a bad thing, right?

The music wasn't too bad, either. But I think the live dj thing might be taking up  useful sitting space...

All in all, cool spot. I might just come earlier next time so I can score a good spot to sit. If you wanted to go with a group, I'd say no more than 4-5 people and to go early.

Leave your stressed out soul at the door and enjoy this laid back, intimate venue with some of the best exotic cocktails and free live music in Chicago.
Love the outdoor patio, creative, one drink and your are past tipsy drink menu , and super nice, accommodating bar staff. Check out their cocktail blog for some amazing infusions http://whistlerchicago...
Very impressed with the diverse music line up here.  I saw an intimate concert with the gypsy guitar duo Andreas Kapsalis & Goran Ivanovic Guitar Duo, and  looking forward to world music artists L'Orchestre Super Vitesse and The Andreas Kapsalis Trio in
September & October. All FREE !!!
Very small seating area & there is no sign at the door, easy to miss, it is between Fullerton Ave & Richmond on Milwaukee av. Plenty of street parking.
Love this no pretense, down to earth, great for a date, that won't leave you broke place. Looking forward to going back..........

Sorry Whistler, maybe if I was more insecure and needed to be "seen" to feel good about myself.  Maybe if you had some relaxing places to sit and enjoy your actually quite good cocktails.  Maybe if you give up the too-cool-for-school attitude your trying to muster by creating a line out front.  If you want to make people wait, you have to give them something worth waiting for.  A Elk Sausage with guiness mustard and smoked gouda is worth waiting for.  A Kuma burger is worth waiting for.  A decent cocktail and an over abundance of skinny jeans...not so much.

Sorry Whistle, not today.  Not today.

Damn good Old Fashioned.

That's honestly almost enough but...

Just last week a "service industry" guy tried to tell me an Old Fashioned had soda water and a muddled orange in it.  WRONG.  This is one of maybe a dozen joints in all of Chicagoland that will make old school cocktails the right way.

Their fru fru newfangled drinks are swell from my experience, but the Manhattan and Old Fashioned are surpassed only by that other place... you know the one.

Great beer selection, running the full gamut and priced fairly.

Also, thanks for having music!  Live music and booze went together so well for the couple of millennia leading up to the advent the sports bar...

FWIW the entertainment here is hit or miss but I can't fault the bar for the couple instances of ineptness/ douchebaggery I've encountered there.

Pros:
- Excellent cocktails, right up there with Violet Hour on the quality scale.
- I've seen some decent live music in there (a recent jazz band especially).
- Good vibe and decor; classy and cool but not stuffy or pretentious.
- Friendly bar staff.

Cons:
- They need more tables on the back patio, lots more tables.
- While they're at it, they could throw a few more tables in up front as well.

Sidenote:  It's amazing to me that city noise ordinances make this place close their patio at 11pm while every knuckle dragger with a crotch rocket or tricked out honda is allowed to roar through the neighborhood unchecked at all hours.

I was extremely excited about trying this place out. I've heard nothing but good things from friends, and was pumped to go there to see an AMAZING local band (Blasted Diplomats!) and enjoy some nice summer cocktails.

We get there and I had to wait in line. I didn't hear the door guy right, and thought he told me to show my ID to someone in the line, so I did. Dude in line looked at it and said "Looks good! But I don't work here". The door guy then said "no, that's the line to get in". totally embarrassing, but hilarious and totally me.

Anyway, we only ended up waiting in line for a couple of minutes, so it wasn't bad at all. We walked in and the music was WAY too loud. I have been to my fair share of concerts in make-shift-venues where they don't have the sound right, but this was really too much. The place itself was really nice, though and I really liked the layout and the art on the walls. Very comfortable atmosphere.

I went to the bar and saw some friends who recommended a drink for me. I was excited to try the cocktails, so I ordered an orange something. No. no no no. I don't like drinks that is just alcohol "on the rocks", and without realizing it, that's what I ordered. It was good for what it was, I just didn't like what it was. So, I ordered another drink that was absolutely amazing! I forget what it was called, but had a mixture of alcohols with a grapefruit aftertaste.  Yum!

There is also a nice little outside patio area in the back to get away from all the inside action. Bummer that it closed at 11 when I was there, but still is nice to have an area to get some air and enjoy one of the 3 nice summer nights Chicago has had so far.

I must say that one of the great things about this place is the constant sound of that shaker shaking to concoct strong, old fashioned cocktails. Like they should be made. Just because I don't like the taste, doesn't mean I can't appreciate what this place is doing.

All in all I'll say for this place:
Atmosphere - spot on
Cocktail menu - different, interesting, and very throw-back-ey
Music Venue - good, but can get too loud.
Give it a shot? - Absolutely.

There is a skinny guy with a bow tie making drinks with egg whites and weird syrups. They seemingly keep it from getting too crowded by making you wait in a line outside, but it's hard to tell whether that's just for hype. Outdoor area is comfortable but only open til like 11pm. I don't understand why the music needs to be so freaking loud that I can't hear the conversation on the other side of my table. Would be willing to go back for the exotic, delicious drinks, but if the music was as loud that would be the last time.

I had the most amazing cocktail last night at the whistler. It was something that was on a previous season's menu, but I had been told I must try "the whiskey drink with egg white," so Paul, the bartender, whipped this one up for me called The Elk's Own, which was out of a cocktail recipe book dated 1940. It had bourbon, port, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white. OMG the egg white! Who knew? I mean I guess thats becoming all the rage again, inspired by cocktails of years past, but I was still impressed. It creates a beautiful booze-foam on top of the drink when they shake it, and I could seriously eat that stuff with a spoon. Wonderful booze foam!

The inside of the place is nice too. Understated, vintage inspired, and relaxed. I went on a Thursday night, so I didn't have to worry about lines or waits at the bar, so I have nothing bad to say about that. I got a seat at the bar and started chatting with the bartenders, Paul, Rob, & Vincent. I like to get to know my bartenders and on the right night, this is the place to do it, and an atmosphere that encourages it. You can definitely learn a lot about cocktails and spirits here, and after 2 or 3 of these cocktails, you wont be needing anymore. They are strong, but tasty, well made, and freaking delicious.

I want more boozey egg-white foam!!

I don't like lines, and last night was the first time I had to do that here...but!  It was a friend's birthday so I sacrificed myself and did it...one of my friends thought it was weird that we waited in line when it wasn't all that packed inside.  Yeah...kinda weird, but I've been in there when it's super super packed and yuck.  It's narrow, so having fewer people in it makes it easier to  get around.  So.  I waited for maybe 15 minutes in line, and had a great time, as always, once I got inside.  One of my favorite things about this bar is that you can get fancy pants cocktails and fancy pants beer, but you don't HAVE to get fancy pants cocktails and fancy pants beer.  I walked in with $20, and walked out with $12.  So, a girl on a budget fits right in here.  Well done, Whistler.

I've been to the Whistler a couple times and haven't been all that impressed.  The drinks were quite medicinal and difficult to finish -- most could use some more garnish or things like mint.

The inside seating is also kinda jacked up.  They could easily fit a few more tables without making it overly-cramped.

Great drinks, friendly and efficient bartenders, good sound, a patio, nice bathrooms.  AND they have tons and tons of purse/coat hooks around the bar - so obvious, I know, but for some reason they just make me happy.

The Whistler was an okay bar........not the  greatest I've ever been to, maybe me not being a hipster had something to do with it. The drinks were good, I ordered several Long Islands..........but I didn't even get buzzed, which kind of was disappointing. This may have been because the service was insanely slow......as in like 10 minutes to order a drink. I guess maybe I used to drinking in Lincoln Park and in Lakeview where every time you turn your back a waitress is ready to bring you another drink. So if you're hipstery or a hipster in denial I think you'd enjoy the Whistler, if you're someone who's looking for some quick drinks ala Lincoln Park, maybe not so much

The best cocktails in Logan Square.  The barkeep knows his stuff, they have a tremendous selection of bourbon and local brews...but it's the seasonal cocktails that really make this place.  It's like splurging on a dessert.  And watching them being made is half the fun.  The last time I was there, it was too cold to go out and sit on the patio, and since they have often have live music, the small space fills up quickly.  I recommend going there early.  My love and I usually have a pre-dinner drinks there before going to dinner on our date nights...perfect!
