It could be better but you can only do so much with a buffet the price dose not reflect the quality of the food I guess to some more is always better but not to me give me a little of something great rather than allot of food that tastes the same the prime rib that everybody rants about is as dull as the handle of a butter knife at least try some seasoning and the fried shrimp is small and of the froze variety this place is suppose to be a nice restaurant and it is but the food on the buffet says OCB just try a little harder

The West Wind is a staple here in River Falls, WI.  They are the one of the only places in town your are garunteed good service, and good food.  My favorite are their wonderful buffets.  Their weekday lunch buffet is probably the best lunch you can get for less then $8 anywhere in WI.  They usually have meatballs, roast beef, friend, or baked chicken, freshly made bread and all sorts of wonderful salads.    They even have a punch card 10 lunches and the 11th is free.   I have friends that like to go to the Friday night seafood buffet.   You cannot beat that valua and quality of food anywhere.

My husband and I decided to drive through River Falls on our way back to Minnesota from Crystal Caves and saw this place on the main street.  Hubby and I both decided to try the buffet at $17.95 a person.  Buffet had prime rib, shrimp, swedish meatballs, several pasta salads, a couple types of desserts, fruit, veggies and dip and even cheese and crackers.  That is not all they had I just can't remember everything now.  Diningroom also had a nice fireplace going and live music.  One more thing they had a nice clean bathroom which is something that is a good thing in my book.
