The Vermont Milk Company
2 reviews for The Vermont Milk Company
I finally got a chance to check this place out but it appears to be closed.
Sign is still up, but the warehouse appears to be abandoned.
Too bad. was hoping so score me some cheese.

The Vermont Milk Company is located back in a warehouse in the "industrial area" of Hardwick (across from the Grand Union).
Similar to Cabot Creamery, local farmers contribute to the company and product. There is a small refrigerator in the office selling a line of their dairy products. . . check out the cheese curd. They have samples for free, but if you want to try the ice cream its gonna cost you. . . worth it though, if only to see the invention they use to serve it. . . a British-invented serving-stand/ machine, meant for city corners and food courts, that takes a packed "one-shot" serving of hard ice cream and uses hydraulic power to put it in a cone, soft-serve style. Free milk posters and paraphernalia. 100% natural, no hormones.
