My husband and I came here for his birthday, and we both had some of the best meals we've ever had.

I had the most delicious butternut squash raviollis that exist on the planet, and the ambiance was romantic and relaxed. The drink selection was amazing, and the service was excellent. FANTASTIC!!

ABSOLUTELY NOT. NO WAY. NEVER AGAIN. NEVER NEVER NEVER.

You don't think you'll have the worst restaurant experience of your year on December 25... I mean what are the odds.

The Vermont Inn is a joke - absolutely highway robbery. I'm not going to waste anymore of my time railing about how god awful the service was - all I'm going to say is that for $30 a plate, you'd expect your steak not to be .5 inches thick, frozen,  bought from the supermarket, and/or way over cooked.

    STAY AWAY.

Their dining room is rustic and welcoming. We loved the french onion soup and the conversation with the inn owner, Mitch.

The inn is just down the road from Killington and relatively close to Woodstock.

This is indeed the true Vermont experience!

Really enjoyed having dinner here. There is a nice lobby and bar area to sit in and relax. Not crowded at all, although we did make a reservation prior to going really wasn't needed on a friday night in march. The building is very old, but very cute. The dining room was very homey and the owner was quite pleasant to talk with. My family ordered the steak and a fish dish- the meals were good, however I would recommend the turkey and chicken dishes which looked amazing when the people next to us got them, I think that is more the type of thing they specialize in. Good mixed drinks as well, def more of a family environment than some of the party places in killington. Prices were very reasonable for someone coming from NYC.

Mitch is a really nice person, he goes out of his way to give what is needed. The food is the beat I've ever eaten, they must have a top shelf chef working there. I would definetly stay there again. They are reasonably priced too. Again the food is amazing there, I wish I lived next door.
