Carrie, the owner and as far as I know, the sole employee is AWESOME! She charges $18 for a 20 minute visit.
It's great to know that we can go to work and Saxony (our blind Weimareiner) is taken care of. On a couple of occasions, she came 3 times in one day when we were both stuck at work.
Amen.
(If you wonder why we have a dog walker, we don't have a yard. If you wonder why we have a big breed in a place with no yard, it's better than her having to be locked up in a laundry room all day by previous owner)
Carrie is a great dog sitter. She loves dogs and knows their behaviors inside and out. We are very comfortable and confident leaving our dog with her. We think he has more fun with her at 'sleep-away camp' than we have on vacation.
Carrie is the best dog-sitter! Bacon and Lana LOVE her! And I feel completely comfortable leaving them with her whenever we go out of town and can't bring them.

Meet the Business Owner: Carrie V.
I have always had an extreme love of animals, big and small. I was lucky as a child to have parents who fostered this love, I always had dogs, cats, hamsters and spent most of my teen years on the back of a horse. I learned early on how blessed we are to have these wonderful friends in our lives and how that love is always constant. I was (of course) planning to become a Veterinarian, but found college too boring and preferred to be out on a trail with my dog and my horse, exploring nature. So after College, I found a job working for a wonderful Vet in Holland, Michigan, a job I loved and excelled at. I loved being part of educating people about their pets and watching as the love between them grows and the relationship flourishes. I loved helping animals be happy and healthy, and I have taken this knowledge and I share it with all the clients of The Urban Dog. Creating friendships with owners and pets is a huge part of The Urban Dog and I look forward to sharing with you.
