Great!
I walked in with my xbox 360, and the woman working stopped, looked at me and asked if I was sending it in for repairs. I said yes, she took it, rang me up and I was out the door. She said a lot of people send their xbox in for repairs. Why Microsoft WHY??
But altogether quick service and that's what I was looking for.
This store is awesome ! It's the kind of UPS that everyone wants in their
neighborhood. I find it to be very consistent with pricing and quoted time frames.
I recently had the opportunity to display several artwork pieces at a gallery in Shanghai.
Being pushed for time, I dropped my pieces off, and placed them in the corner of the cluttered store.
I left for Shanghai a day later crossing my fingers that everything would arrive.
and... it did !
I highly recommend doing business here !
This place ROCKS!
The printing service at school is no longer in business, so I picked this business because of all the good Yelps, and boy, am I glad I did. I had a very, very tight deadline to have my master's thesis printed (through no fault of my own, which kept getting pushed back because other people weren't holding up their ends). My hair was falling out. My entire 3 years of graduate studies were down to the wire and hanging on having this document completed properly and on time.
The kind folks at the Lakeshore Plaza UPS Store not only solved problems that arose for me, but they had my thesis bound and printed sooner than originally promised. How often does that happen??

What I love about this place is that it has a neighborhood feel. All of the employees are tremendously helpful and super friendly. I love how they know their customers' names, and if they don't you personally, they still treat everyone like an old friend.
They package everything with great care, as if it was their own. I went in to use their fax services, $1 each transaction. This was much more worth it than the $2.50 per page I was quoted from Kinkos, located in the same shopping plaza.

Shauna & Keith are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet and they make the chore of shipping packages a pleasure. Very friendly and helpful with everything... shipping, copying, notarizing a document or anything else. And I don't want to leave out Steve and Derek. They're pretty cool too.
They rock. Always help me out to carry in heavy boxes of cds and flyers to ship out. So cool. They try to make everything easier and efficient for your shipping needs. Way better attitudes than the people who run the UPS Store on Geary Blvd., in San Francisco
On two occasions I have been a customer at this store. I must say the level of service is exceptional. They acknowledge your presence when you walk in. Lines move quickly. They are fully stocked and supplied. Great Location Location Location.
Infodiva sharing her Business Gems. This is across the parking lot from FedEx Kinko's. The U.S. Post Office as well as a Social Security Adminstration office are all located her. I grocery shop and handle my business all in one fell swoop. It is a wonder I come into the center city at all.

I need to apologize to Shaunna and her Dad for not writing a review of their store sooner, but they never cease to amaze me! I used to go in about once every week or every-other week since most of my family and all of my friends live out of state, and every time I would walk in Shaunna would already have my account pulled up and be ready to help me ship! Well, I have not been in there for at least two months, probably longer, and I walked in today and Shaunna recognized me right away and started teasing me about the names of towns in Wisconsin (where I'm from and often ship to)! It was great, such a pleasant experience! When shipping anything I will pay the extra to ship from their store solely due to the customer service that is provided.
Oh, one time, I got there five or ten minutes after closing and Shaunna was talking to a friend outside and although the store was open the computers were shut down. She took my package and said she'd ship it the next day, no worries, and I could pay her the next time I stopped in! Are you kidding me??? Who does that these days?!?! They are fabulous!
Ive used several UPS Store locations for shipping and this one is the friendliest,most helpful,reliable and knowledgable. The employees are the best! Its a store where they actually remember your face! Very cool and the best customer service in sf as far as im concerned!

3-timely and efficient interaction time
not all UPS stores are alike. these are independent franchises.
so even though there are other locations closer to work and home I keep coming back to this one.

I can honestly say that I'm not surprised to see the number of 5-star comments about this UPS Store. Every single word of them really is all true.
I'm a mailbox customer. I'm in there almost every day. As someone who owns a business in the service industry, I know what it's like dealing with people. The vast majority of people are great, but you'll always have the ones that present arguments for no reason, who have real poor attitudes and are rude, who ask the dumbest questions, who can't seem to follow the simplest of instruction, or just plain can't understand that it's impossible to ship out FEDEX from the UPS STORE. (oh yeah, I've seen that....really, would you order a Whopper at McDonald's?) Anyway, I digress - my point is that despite that sampling of people, everyone in there gets the same treatment from them. It's always service with a smile and kind words. It takes a lot of patience to do that, and I applaud Keith, Shaunna, and Steve.
You can tell that this is more than just a paycheck to them. They actually care about helping people. All the other reveiws about this company prove that point.
Over the past year, I've gotten to really know the Infamous UPS Store Trio (Keith, Shaunna, and Steve). I consider them my friends now. Although they don't know it yet, I'm coming over for Thanksgiving Dinner.
Even if it's a little out of the way, you really do need to check this place out. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
I wanted to mention that I will now conduct my packing business with this location of the UPS Store. Their packaging prices are much more reasonable than other UPS store locations.

Well, it is absolutely no surprise why The UPS Store at Lakeshore deserves 5 stars. They are truly the epitome of good service and a model family run business. My husband and I bought our PMB about 6 months ago and we have not regretted it for a minute. The instant we said we were interested in signing up to use their services Keith walked us through all our options and offered discounts for other services. Kind, easy to understand and patient! We felt like we could trust these people.
We own three businesses and all of them rely on sending and receiving packages. Never have we had a problem with receiving a package and when items arrived damaged in the box they helped us go through the proper channels to file reports and claims. They are not the kind of people who say "Good luck...deal with it on your own buddy!". They went the extra mile for us when some expensive spinning wheels arrived broken and did not complain when our products took up space in their store till the UPS claimed it back.
Shaunna, STEVE (you have to spell his name in caps....this awesome guy is not a small Steve!) and a couple hardworking young men (sorry I forgot your names!) are the regular evening crew and we see them every day serving everyone with a friendly disposition while still making you feel like they're being genuine people. They know our box number/business name/faces the instant we step through the door and we don't even have to ask for our packages....they instantly arrive at the counter. My husband and I have often told them we're looking out for specific deliveries and they call us when our packages arrive so we can pick them up promptly. They've done all this and more for our business.
Like others have said, it's true that OUR customer service record is excellent because the service at UPS Lakeshore is above and beyond. I promise I'll stop writing......but seriously they are kind, generous, funny, casual and always on the mark for what you need. Don't know if we'll ever step foot in the USPS ever again.....they have lines from hell! Fedex, you ain't got shit in these people's prices. Rock on UPS store. Our customers thank you!

they are two of the nicest, most helpful people you will ever meet. i've been to a few UPS stores in my lifetime but my goodness, this one is by far THE BEST. their personalities are extremely genuine...so genuine that i am willing to drive all the way from fremont to san francisco just to send a package.
Because of this store, I have 100% positive feedback on eBay. I ship all my http://Half.com sales through this location and this location alone. The staff here is the nicest staff you'll ever meet. I won't trust anyone else with my packages.
I LOVE THESE PEOPLE!! This is no joke, if you don't like it here then there is something wrong with you. I really mean that. There is no reason to do your mailing anywhere else (unless you are over 100 miles away, then you are excused). If you go in, they will remember your name the first time and treat you like family everytime that you visit. It is a treat to go by and visit them!!
Stellar customer service. Ditto to what everyone else said. The post office is in the same strip mall location, but I always buy mailing supplies here because they never run out of supplies (unlike the post office) and they charge less. Oh and they don't give you dirty looks if you take more than one candy from the jar on the counter. (I like grape-flavored LifeSavers.)
It's safe to say im a customer service nut job! I nit pick and the smallest things can upset me. With that said, there isn't a single thing I could complain about when it comes to this UPS store. The staff is friendly and always smiling and the service is AMAZING! I would gladly travel any distance to use this store for my shipping needs. The owner of the store is always willing to help with anything he can! The employees greet you with a smile and make you feel like seeing you makes their day. The store is clean and always well stocked and no matter how many questions I have they always have the time to answer. Most importantly free candy and my dog is always welcome, they even keep special treats behind the counter for their 4 legged customers!
Absolutely the nicest folks of any package/mail services store I've ever used (including USPS). Did me extra favors when I came in on crutches, like taking something over to USPS for me, providing teflon envelopes for free, and carrying stuff in from my car. The service here is unflaggingly friendly and nothing short of amazing. Worth the trip out from Bernal when I have a pile of stuff to ship.
A very interesting visit to UPS. I had to ship my xbox 360 back for repairs because of the "RED RING OF DEATH" a common defect for the stupid machine that cost a leg and a arm (hehe luckly my swt gf bought it for me, which I love...hi honey I know you'll read this). Well Microsoft sent me a box with prepaid shipping. The second I walked into UPS the worker immediately said "RED RING OF DEATH" because she recognize the box. She told me that she gets at least three or four a day and that she knew all about the defect, but has no knowledge about games what so ever. This visit was a in and out less than 2mins. And that was my visit to UPS.

I use this UPS location constantly. I'm probably in there several times a week. They always know me and are always smiling and sweet. I adore all 3 of them, they are so damn helpful!

these guys are the best by far. i have been going here for the last year to mail all my packages. i send anywhere from 50-100 items per month (US & international) they give me the best rates for my packages or letters either by ups or usps. the service is the best i have ever experienced. they take the time to make sure you are taken care of & everything is explained well.
who could have thought a shipping experience could be so fun? i haven't been writing yelp reviews recently, but i just had to for this store. great people, great place.
