Historic and beautiful. Perfect example of 1900's period.
Dinning is great too and on the strand by everything fun.

The refurbish of the hotel is beautiful, though traveling with a handicapped husband it is not handcap friendly. There is a lift from street to lobby, no ramp, we requested a handicap room and when we got in the room it was NOT handicap accessible, called and requested a 2nd handicap room and we received one. The bathroom is accessible if you only turn the handle to the left to open the bath door. The bed, was another story, we had to move furniture to get to the bed. The Television is in a cabinet that you cannot see from the bed. I'm sure it is ADA compliant but not handicap friendly.
It is a beautiful hotel, but if you are handicapped in a wheelchair you might want to stay somewhere else. We will probably stay here again, when my husband is walking again, but not until.
