Such a cute victorian Inn!  Beautiful place to stay, and very friendly inn keepers.  The breakfasts are delish- always something different and fresh every morning.  Every afternoon they provide tea.

Most of the rooms have baths and/or a hot tub!  They keep them up and make sure the chemicals are right every day.  The rooms are clean and very old fashioned.  They have fire places, and tv, and also internet.  There are common rooms with a big fire place and books, videos and other items to borrow.

This is my favorite romantic get away place, and I'd recommend it if you want to surprise your sweetie for a nice weekend get away ;)

We had plans to go to the Cape over the weekend, but plans changed and we needed to be in Connecticut.  Lack of (good) reviews on Yelp for bed and breakfasts in the greater Hartford area led us to BnBfinder, where we came across a seemingly quaint and romantic b&b with well priced rooms (weekends $120 and up). Looking more into the site, we saw hot tubs! Ok we're in.  How could I have gone to UConn for 4 years and not known about this place? First of all, the location is right off 84 on a main-but-cute new england road with historical homes/buildings around it. Second, the Inn was very homey but not infringing on privacy. The rooms were well spaced out, very neat, and decorated in country charm. Each had hand made custom wood furniture built by one of the innkeepers (Steve), and the 2 rooms we stayed in had real jetted hot tubs (not the fake bathtub jets some hotels/inns claim are hot tubs).  We stayed in two separate rooms - the Pacific Suite (#5) which had an awesome center-room see-through fireplace, hot tub, and a king bed; and room #2 on the second night which had a separate room just for the hot tub.  #2 could be annoying if you are a late sleeper, as it's right next to the dining room and you can hear the guests in there for breakfast (but we were first to arrive so we didn't care). The foyer of the Inn had space to lounge by the fire or in a quiet corner and a dining room.  Out back, in better weather, you could lounge outside. The Innkeepers were super nice, made us feel like family, and were helpful in suggesting restaurants and such.  We even got a tip from another couple for a good place to eat nearby that we hadn't heard of. That's coming in another review :)
