The good - on the website you can choose a dog friendly room - and the price is quite reasonable for the area.

The bad - having to stay at this motel!  While some of the back buildings looked like they might be ok, we got stuck in a strange little room above/behind the office. To get there, we passed a foldaway bed that seemed to have been outdoors for several weeks.  

Into the room - carpet GROSS and stained.  Pulled the curtains closed - curtain came down. Remote for the VCR?  Non-existent. The front desk just confirmed its lack of existence w/out apology or help.  THEN, oh then, my brush rolled under the bed. ICK - lots of junk under there - and not just dust balls. Two empty beer cans, assorted kleenex (used).  We would have gotten another room but the office had just closed (at 6pm).

All in all this place was dirty, missing key items and truly just a dump.  I suppose if you want to go drink beer in a room (and roll cans under the bed) this place might be for you.  If this ain't your idea of fun, run the other way!
