I must qualify my review by saying that the rig in which my boyfriend and I tour the country is not strictly for recreational purposes. We have a coach bus with a trailer (total length is approx. 60') which he has converted into a vinyl-wrapped and branded mobile home/office of sorts to launch his nonprofit start up. So we get a lot of looks no matter where we go.
That said we probably had the best experience we could have had given our unconventional RV. The check-in staff and pro-shop attendant were all extremely nice and accommodating. My boyfriend and I drove down in a car and our bus and the two other staff members were an hour or two behind us. Our "camp host" escorted us to our site, a little confused that we weren't in an RV but we told her it was on its way though this didn't really confuse her any less. Yes, we stuck out like a sore thumb because we are quite a few years younger than the typical Springs at Borrego RVer. But we're a rig on the same chassis as plenty of the other RVs on site so it seems we should be treated the same.
As I mentioned before there are "camp hosts" who live there for free and are there to help I suppose. Really that's my only complaint about the park is that the camp hosts all had a passive aggressive way of enforcing rules that we didn't know we were breaking (e.g. we had a glass bottle of Perrier in the pool area, we pulled out of our spot too far so we could reach the water hose, our dogs had to be leashed on our site). I guess that's what it takes to keep a nice establishment looking nice but I just wish they'd been more nice about enforcing rules :)
I'm well aware that since we're not the typical RVers our experience was a little off. BUT If you're the average RVer, I would strongly recommend this park a thousand times over. It's gorgeous and it has plenty of extraordinary amenities.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Kathy H.Reno, NV224204216Dec 2, 2023
We love this park! Our RV spot backed up to one of the golf fairways which made our stay peaceful and enjoyable. The setting is beautiful and the grounds are meticulous. Our surrounding area was raked and pristine. While here we also played the nine hole golf course. The course played well and we walked the nine holes. Next time we will get a cart.

Great location. The sites are very well managed and clean. Wonderful facilities. The nine hole course was very nice.

Have been coming here for over 20 years! They have added a great many more golf course spots for RV's, but the amenities are suffering.
But, we were disappointed that the emailed list of over 50 cable channels was not available. On any given day, we might get 20.
The dog park has no grass, the shade is right next to the noisy pool equipment. No water available. They built a child's play area over one of the dog parks that is covered in bark chips.
Our picnic table was broken and taped with duct tape. You had to be careful as you could cut your arm.
One of two shade areas by the pool was missing the shade cloth.
The golf course is in excellent condition! Too bad you can't walk your dog after hours when it is cooler. It's been in the high 80's and 90's!
I Hope management takes notice and fix these areas. It will go along way with the RVersHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Henry M.Marina del Rey, CA0603Dec 1, 2023
We had heard great things about this place so gave it a try. Here we go:
The Good:
Beautiful area and grounds, nice clean level spots. Very nice people. They actually come by and pick up your trash and will refill your propane tanks. The golf course was fun (bring your own clubs as their rentals are unusable). Cute little town nearby and plenty of desert to explore.
Needs Work
If are looking for peace and quiet, this place isn't. You will definitely be hearing someone else music or outside TV blasting and dogs barking constantly. This isn't the parks fault, its inconsiderate campers and every park has them. But this place has them in full-force and would make me reconsider staying here again (unless I bring ear plugs). Also wi-fi was lousy and coyotes everywhere, they ran right through our campsite after dark.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Scott S.Fullerton, CA5745316Jan 4, 2024
Fabulous views, great food and service, easy to get to and park. A must visit for a fine dining experience.

This campground is beautiful and has everything. The pool is heated, there are 4 jacuzzi's, tennis courts, the golf course is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are immaculate and the staff are super helpful and friendly. They have activities each day if you like to take part in group activities. This is truly glamping at its best!
Tip: If you have a small dog, do not ever leave it unattended. The coyotes come out in full force at night in large packs. They come into the parts of the campground that are adjacent to the golf course.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rick R.Borrego Springs, CA301Jan 18, 2023
I've played golf all over San Diego as well as many other places and this little 9 hole layout stands out as a hidden gem of the desert. A clever and fun course the can challenge even the best of us without any gimmicks. The special treat that is the 8-9 finishing holes (9 is a beautiful island green) allow for the risk/reward challenge for those trying to get the last skins from your buddies.
Don't miss the chance to play here!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
